Sometimes I hate having a big heart for animals.

There's a starling nest right outside my window, and one day during a thunderstorm an egg fell out. I tried to keep it warm enough but it never hatched.

Now I look out my window and see that a baby fell out of the nest and died. I want to bury it and it's unhatched sibling together.

I'm grieving these baby animals. They never got a chance.

I can't get over how Kris (in the weird route specifically) is a victim too. They're being forced to hurt their childhood friend. They try to fix it, make amends, and the player just ruins it all for them. And then they shove us in a trash can and take out their anger on us by beating us as much as they are able without hurting themself in the process.

They took Berdly to the hospital, they picked the thorn off Noelle's finger, apologized, and tried to make light of everything. To fix it as much as they were able. And we come in and trash it all over again, ruining their work and worsening their image.

And it's the players fault, and Kris is so ANGRY and upset, as they should be, and AUGHHH.

Toby Fox is so good at making us feel horrible for our actions. The Undertale genocide route for one, but then this? When I saw that Kris apologized, then their reaction to us ruining it, I felt so guilty dude.

Kris is just as much of a victim as Noelle, if not more.

Good game. Did cry. Will probably cry again. 👍
