Concept/idea: Semi Super Sonic. The idea is that this version of Sonic uses 3-4 chaos emeralds and becomes this form.

Gameplay wise, I imagine that every 2 seconds, this form burns 1 ring. Semi Super Sonic would be able to glide for like knuckles. (Side note, I am not spelling out Semi Super Sonic, so I am gonna call it S.S.S .) S.S.S would be able to also be able to do a double jump, S.S.S faster than normal sonic, and could be able to throw energy balls at enemies and could run through enemies. S.S.S, when doing the drop dash, would shake the ground stuning enemy's.
