Some recent concept art I’ve made for my upcoming comic, Nightwatch!

I’ve really appreciated the time I’ve had to myself, and done a lot of work on the story. I’m hoping to have it started this year, or next year at the latest. So exciting!

Hey guys,

I’m sorry to say that I have to end the Cowboy Swap Comic here.

There was so much I had in mind that I wanted to show you, but working on this comic has taken up too much of my time and energy, and God has shown me that I need to dedicate my time to other responsibilities and projects.

The Cowboy Swap Comic was only meant to be for practice, really. I wanted to know that I could plan and illustrate a full comic series. However, I did NOT know how much of a commitment it would be.

I’ve learned so much making this comic! My art style has changed a LOT. And I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come.

I really wanted to finish it… I had so much more planned! And I really didn’t want to disappoint you all.

Thank you so much for your support. You guys are the reason this is so hard for me. I’ve loved every reblog and comment, and every ask. I’ve loved sharing this journey with you. I never EVER thought people would actually be able to see my silly little stories.

I hope I can come back and share more stories with you! I have other projects planned, but I can’t guarantee I’ll continue with social media. It’s a lot.

Cowboy Swap Comic

I will be taking another month off from posting this comic, which I will explain in this post.

Hey guys,

I’m sorry to announce that I’m taking another break from my cowboy swap comic 😭.

I’ve been really burnt out lately and I realised that working on this comic was taking up too much of my time. I need to make more space for time with God (I’m a Christian), seeing my friends, and just relaxing.

For the next month I will be stepping back from the comic so that I can have more time to focus on God.

When I come back, I will be returning on a bi-weekly basis so that I don’t get burnt out again. In the meantime, I will continue to share my own personal art with you! It will probably be focused on my original stories rather than fanart.

I have loved seeing you all enjoy my comics, and I hope you will enjoy my other work I intend to make in the future! Thank you for your support.
