Real listening is a skill to be learned. We don't listen these days and that is why humanity is always at war with one another in some shape or form. Whether it is nations, family, friends etc... I believe we even need to listen to ourselves for neccessary growth and better relationships. See what Allah says in the Quran and then think on it. O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.
