Now, I've been considering, and I want to try something. I hope that's fine with all of you. Whichever story wins this poll will be worked on this month, the runner up next month, and so on, so forth for August, September, October, November, and December. So, the next poll will be in February, since January is the month of my birthday.

And the winner is ... Pikmin Preview: It felt like an eternity passed, but soon she heard the beast climb back into whatever cavernous roof it had dropped from. Not wanting to get its attention, she crept through this final layer to where a stream of water had brought everyone else out of this nightmarish cave. As she approached it though, she saw Nayru lying out in the open, alive but unconscious. Next to her, with fists clenched, was Din. Once they crossed eyes though, Din put a finger against the bit of skin under his spine, signaling silence.

Din easily lifted the still unconscious Nayru, and Farore followed him to the fountain of water bursting into the sky. “It could be night,” Farore whispered as they got close, but Din didn’t answer for a few seconds except gulping nervously.

“We can try fighting those normal beasts,” Din sighed, none of the bravado previously clinging to his voice, “but when I tried to hit that thing … whatever it is, I can’t kill it. We have a better chance up there.” With that, Din rested Nayru in Farore’s arms and gulped to herself before stepping into the fountain. Not wanting for Din to be alone or to be alone when that thing wakes up, Farore followed, landing on some bare soil in the darkness of night.

I know I said I would be doing posts for each fandom I've been writing about, and I'm sorry I won't be doing that today but instead hopefully Thursday or so. I just learned today that the online class I'm in is even more ... interesting than I thought beforehand, which got me a bit bummed out.

I have no idea how making these previews work, so this is the first bit. Feel free to tell me how to improve this bit / the story in general / any story really / how to do story previews. Thank you for looking at this.

“What kind of palace has these—woah!” Link yelped, dodging into an enclave as a cannonball at least four times his size barreled past. After entering, he found himself confronted by some odd statues that thankfully didn’t move. Link did make sure of that, tapping each with his sword a few times. He then found himself confronted by a couple of tentacle … seaweed … things that he easily hit with his sword until they exploded into a cloud of black smoke. From there, he wound up in a hallway with all sorts of enclaves on either side. There didn’t even seem to be any monsters attacking him. The only problem?

Giant. Balls. Of. Metal.

To Link’s relief, he soon found a bunch of rupees and decided to rest there. The ground was hard as rocks, but he soon found himself drifting to sleep.

Now that color has been determined (Green-White-Blue), I suppose we can now see what abilities are most popular. First, I was thinking of making options to keep in mind their water breathing and swimming as well as the pikmin propagation. Anything I'm missing?
