Fire Emblem Fates: Takumi & Corrin's A REWRITE Support (Birthright Ver.)

I think these two had a HUGE potential for one of the most interesting dynamics in the story and while I still love the OG one, this one is character exploration and expansion. I want to do their C and B support and the REV Ver of their A Support too. And it was my intention to put M!Corrin to honor IS choice of canonizing him in Birthright, but got too overwhelmed on just getting their sprites alone so we're stuck with F!Corrin.

Speaking of, I also tried to make this platonic/familial as possible. And questionable dialogue is more interconnected to the lore I've come up for Fates (but the shipper in me is cowriting this as well)

Out of everyone in Fates or the Royalty, Takumi felt like Corrin’s actual foil, especially in Conquest.

Like the elemets are there-but the execution was done poorly, especially when it highlighted the "possession" arc.

But yeah anyway- IS, where is the 500 page Birthright script?

I just finished Forrest's Paralogue and its definitely one of the best/fun experiences I have because if how in character of a BEAST both Hinoka and Oboro were during the enemy phase. Hinoka fought tooth and nail to save Forrest (she was his mom in my Rev run). And I was just elated to see Hinoka in action (because she kept dying in the other maps but this one she just refused to die)

- while Oboro literally dodged almost all the attacks and cleared a section by herself (and for funsies she's the mother of Dywer so he's just supporting her from the sidelines and see his mom hurling enemies. )

Setsuna also impressed me too because I was so ready to make her a meat shield, but she managed to out manuever every enemy and got decent kills too.

This family dynamic with this Paralogue made me appreciate Hinoleo more and Now I wanna write a fanfic where Hinoka gets hysterical at Forrest's paralogue and just charged head on the bandits and give Leo a deserving reprimand for talking such a way to Forrest.

Reverse Birthright. (This was inspired after listening to 'Ma Meilleure Ennemie' in Arcane S2 Ep7 so spoilers :p.)

What if during Conquest. When Takumi fell off the Bottomless Canyon, his mind went to a different world where Kamui / Corrin wasn't abducted and Ryoma was the one taken away (or killed as well). They were raised in Hoshido, and Takumi has to deal with being civil to them for the sake of Mikoto, Sakura and Hinoka despite the emotional tide he's in.

If Female Corrin - the fact he's now the heir of the throne which added more pressure on how he would act when the Takumi they are seeing is a raging prince of a wartorn era.

Backa t my FE: Fates (with Epic the musical.) bullshit again.

But thinking of Takumi fits as Odysseus cause they're both royal tacticians and mastered the bow. Plus they're both devoted to their families.

Im deeply into FE: Fates again and the Conquest Angst is just calling for me/resurfacing back.

This is maingmly going to be a Sakura x Marx / Xander fic post conquest because the angst between then is potentially beautiful.

I am going to be a bit busy for the next while (slightly distant future). I am getting adenoid surgery on the 16th. It’s a 10-day recovery period too (not sure if I’m going to be a vegetable or not).

I've finally read the vacation au you guys made, and Chapter 1 is freakishly good. Especially how you guys portray Alastor's pov. It has no right to be that funny. Im grateful to see the wardrobe showcases. It really adds a lot of flavor to the fic.

Though throughout the fic, I kept wondering what Dawn would look like if she joined her parents' vacation business venture in the human realm.

I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying it so far!!! :D The way @hazbinhobo writes Alastor is 100% in my top 3 of any fic I've read, the way they manage to tickle the most ridiculous nonsense out of this guy without any of it feeling out of character is INSANE
