Silence, he admires her from afar, Her beauty and grace like a shining star, Their conversations brief, but he longs for more, To hear her laugh, to learn what she adores,
Though words may be scarce, his feelings are true, He hopes one day, she'll feel the same way too.

I absolutely detest this Gen Z aesthetic culture. People are less engaged in actually engaging in activities like reading literature, farming, volunteering, painting and creating art than they are in how others view them. The same individual who describes themselves as a dark academic will simultaneously acknowledge that they haven't read anything but fan-fiction since the 6th grade and will still attempt to discuss books they haven't even opened. People who are fixated on beauty and the "aesthetic" of an activity that defies logic or common sense. The same individual who talks endlessly about moving to a remote cottage in the west doesn't even have a garden, let alone have a clue about sustainability, and will be the first to spend hundreds of rupees. The same individual who calls herself an activistgurl and shares dry Instagram infographics on public concerns is completely uninformed about any of the groups they claim to support and hasn't read any of the resources they've shared. Ironically, these uninformed liberal feminists are most vulnerable to being radicalised by social justice warriors because they haven't read any feminist literature and, have joined the movement solely for aesthetic reasons. They assert that they "aren't racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic/etc," completely missing the point. It's so fucking annoying. You can wear whatever you like, but if you try to pass off your personality and hobbies as something that comes from your clothing, I won't hesitate to openly point it out. Just consider if you would say or do any of your current actions in a situation where you are not concerned with how others see you.
