Hello, I love the idea of au and would like to know more. After getting revived are the monster souls corrupted or changed at some point? Will there be reference sheet of the fallen human? And is it ok to add ocs? (Of course not making it canon). And in general what are the rules about au (what are we allowed and not allowed to do)?

Hello! Thank you for showing interest in the AU 💚

From the moment they got revived their soul is affected/different, there won't be changes afterwards (or getting it back to how it was). This makes the monsters feel very uncomfortable with themselves...

I'm not sure! Initially when I created this AU I thought of it as a fic and the fallen human as an OC or even Y/N (ofc I'm not actually going to write a fic for this 👀💦) so i didn't think about designing the characters at that time. Now I do kinda want to design them, but again-- I'm not sure when I'll get around to doing it. For now their design is a blank slate

Sure! Feel free to add OCs humans/monsters anything you like ^^

There are not many rules or restrictions, don't claim this AU as your own, don't push your own HC over the canon and claim it as canon, everything else is probably OK, feel free to ask me if you have specific thing you want to do.

Generally, just follow basic decency, don't do anything illegal, and follow Toby Fox's own rules as well!

Spent all night yesterday and today thinking about the answer to these asks, and I’ve managed to come up with several scenarios, ranging from toxic, to fluff, to them getting therapy, to them killing me! However, the conclusion that I’ve reached upon is that self insert x skellie is something very self-indulgent, and no matter what the scenario, it will be non-canon divergent because essentially, none of us will ever meet the skellies.

But can you still make up non-canon stories and scenarios where you do?? sure! how will they react? depends on how you wish to perceive them, according to your own self-indulgent thoughts.

I think I’ve shared enough information about the two where you can take context clues to how they would react when you become their partner or object of affection. It can be fast burn, slow burn, wholesome, creepy, anything you want! have fun with your imagination, tailor them to your fantasies, that’s the best part about self-insert shipping.
