High school crush

Reader x Jun Fluff A/N; this is just a little something to start off my blog so I hope you all like it! (also y/n means your name)

Today was just any normal day and you couldn’t wait to get to school to see him, Jun. He’s been your crush ever since you started high school and you guys had almost every class together, Jun was pretty popular, he loved to dance but everyone just knew him by his prince looks. You weren’t so popular but everyone knew you as the girl who was just there, never did anything dangerous or cool you were just normal and with your two best friends all the time. You head to class as you heard the first bell ring for first class and you sat in your seat right away chatting with your friends “hey are you doing anything today? I was thinking we could see a movie” your friend Lily asks “I was going to get some homework done but maybe” you reply. You play with your pencil in your hands to waste time for your teacher to come in and hand you assignments for the day, as the door to the classroom opens Jun comes in and you heart skips a beat. Although all the girls in the school likes him just for his looks you knew Jun before he was popular. You remember Jun as a guy with braces and him wanting to be a dancer/singer when he finished high school, you laughed at the memories of you and him. Both of you used to be friends in your freshmen year, he bumped into you by accident but he apologized with a cup of iced coffee after and you two just talked all day seeing how you shared the same classes but as soon you guys found new friends along the school years you drifted apart, you guys give a casual hello every now and then not like he forgot about you or you forgot about him. On that day of him bumping into you, you couldn’t help but developed a crush on him. Little did you know he had a crush on you too.

“Hey y/n” Jun gives you a warm smile walking to his seat. “Hey Jun” you say giving him a warm smile back “Jun why are you talking to her? She’s a nobody” Alice scoffs you sighed after that wanting to say something back but not wanting to make an effort of fighting with the popular girl “then what does that make you Alice?” Jun says your eyes shot up to look at Jun to see him starring at Alice “Oh um nothing I guess…” Alice looks away from jun. Jun’s eye meet yours “im sorry” he whispers and turns to look at the teacher walking in. After class ended you thought what Jun did was nothing since he backs you up every now and then but you couldn’t help but feel so special. You gather your books and head to your next class “so movie tonight y/n??” Lily asks “mhm tomorrow maybe I just want to finish some assignments” you reply “see you later then!” You walked out of your first class and put headphones in your ears wondering where to go now since next period you didn’t really have a class but just free time since there’s some advantages of being a senior and finishing up your most important classes last semester. You had an hour to spare so you decide to go for a walk not too far from the school so you could make it in time for your other class.

You arrived at this small park with this small lake and decided to sit down and bring out your sketch book wanting to sketch the beautiful scenery in front of you. In the middle of sketching you felt a tap on your shoulder and you assuming a stranger either wanted you to move or just someone wanting to know what you were doing you took out you headphones and hear Jun “so you still like to sketch huh” he takes a seat down next to you. “Of course remember I wanted to be an artist?” He nods and looks at what you’ve drawn “you’ve gotten really good y/n!” He takes the sketch book out of your hands to see more “hey give it back!” You try and grab it from jun but he quickly holds it back making you reach further. “I wanna see it though!!” You give up let’s face it you might as well let him since he was bigger than you. You sighed and let Jun wonder his eyes on your paper in awe. After a few seconds have gone by he gives it back to you with a smile and gets up to offer you a hand to help you up “I’m off to class shall we go together?” You take his hand and walk together. After school you go home quickly to get a head start on your homework just to get it over and done with out of your way. Bzzz you hear your phone go off

“hey y/n can we talk?” it was from jun

“where?” You reply back

“Well I have practice but I was wondering can we talk tomorrow at school?”

“sure”

You shut your phone off not thinking much about it since he might’ve wanted notes or help with homework. You smiled in thought of earlier today when your arms were around Jun and couldn’t help but feel butterflies. The next day you got to school around the usual time which was early and there was only a few students at school but that was fine since you liked to be early. You walk into you classroom and head to your seat wondering where Jun was since he wanted to talk to you and you didn’t see him yet. “Hey y/n!” Your two best friends say coming in and sitting with you “have you guys since Jun?” They look at each other and back at you “no but I heard that he’s going to confess to someone!” They got excited, you felt this sting in your heart and thought he was confessing to Alice, she was prettier than you and they hanged out constantly and she was all over him anyways. Your long high school crush was confessing to someone and it wasn’t you. You overheard Alice talking about Jun “i can’t believe he’s going to confess to me! He doesn’t need to since we’re already a couple” you scoff and put your headphones in and look out the window by your seat wishing to forget this day.

Bzzz your phone goes off

“hey can you meet me at outside of the school at lunch?’” jun texts

“hey sure but i heard you wanting to confess to someone i bet its alice right? that ‘s good!” you replied back although it hurt you, you were happy for Jun at least he’s brave to confess unlike you.

“Alice?…. well no just meet me okay?”

If not Alice then who? You thought. You see Jun pacing himself outside of the school and you jogged towards him tapping his shoulder “hey Jun!” He jumped “aish y/n don’t scare me!” You laugh “what did you want?” He looks at you “well I… um….” he trails off and you patiently waiting for him to talk “look I know that you and i haven’t been… close friends in a while but I just don’t wanna be friends no more…” your heart sank to hear those words “oh well okay I understand…” you slowly walk away from jun seeing how he didn’t see anything immediately. You feel a hand grab your arm and you feel startled but Jun pulls you towards him “I’m sorry I didn’t mean that I just.. will you go on a date with me?” His eyes meet yours and you stare into his dark brown eyes, you feel your face burning up “I uh… Jun..” he let’s go of your arm “it’s fine if you don’t want to but I’ve liked you since freshman year.. and it’s been too long and I wanted to confess to you for awhile..” still making eye contact with you. “Where will you be taking me for this date?” you smile at him shyly accepting his offer “dinner and a movie and you can pick any where just as long as I’m with you” he smiles and runs away in excitement “that’s so cheesy!” You yell away at Jun “I know but I like you I can’t help it! Pick you up at 6 tonight!” He yells back. You couldn’t believe your high school crush liked you back you thought as you smiled to yourself.
