"Jun, please don't leave me with him, please. I'm begging you." I plead desperately one Saturday night as my best friend, Junhee, puts his jacket on to go get us dinner.

"You two will be fine." Jun says soothingly, giving me a sideways grin.

"You know I can't stand him, Jun." I whine, stomping my foot for emphasis. "We'll kill each other."

"She's right." A voice says behind me that immediately makes my stomach burn with annoyance.

"She can't stand being around me." Byeongkwan says from the kitchen doorway, a smirk lining his lips. "And she's not exactly pleasant to be around either."

I spin around to glare at Byeongkwan, who narrows his eyes at me in return and sticks his tongue out.

"You two," Jun sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Me and Chan will be back in ten, twenty minutes, tops. We just have to go get the pizza's for dinner and then we'll be back. Surely you two can stand to be in the same room alone for that long."

"Why can't you take me with you? Or him?" I whine, taking his arm to try and stop him from leaving.

"There isn't room, sweetheart." Jun explains. Which I knew to be false. There was plenty of room in that car.

Jun had been trying to get me and Byeongkwan to get along ever since we met. We just never hit it off and always got on each others nerves. A 'friendly' relationship had never been established.

"We'll be back soon." Jun says as he quickly opens the door and leaves.

"You're stuck with me now, baby." Byeongkwan says with a devilish smirk. Making me feel angry.

I turn to face him, keeping my face nonchalant. "How about you stay on the opposite side of the room from me and I won't have to murder you."

Byeongkwan rolls his eyes at my snarky comment and mumbles something under his breath before retreating into the kitchen. To do what, I didn't care.

I go over to the large sofa and plop down on it, turning the TV on to keep my mind on something else and distract me. I had just started to feel like being stuck with Byeongkwan wouldn't be so bad after all when a large object suddenly blocks my view of the screen.

"What are you doing?" I ask with a frustrated sigh.

"I want to pick something to watch." Byeongkwan argues, taking a step toward me to take the remote from my hand.

"I don't think so." I scoff. Holding the remote away from his outstretched hand. "If I have to be stuck here with you, I want to pick what we watch until Jun comes back."

Byeongkwan's eyes narrow, the hand outstretched going into a tight fist. "Give me the remote."

"Or what?" I snap. "I don't know if you remember, but I don't care about what you want. And the last I checked, you didn't care either. So how about you save yourself some energy and sit down and shut up."

Byeongkwan lets his tongue slide along the inside of his cheek. A trait he had when he was truly, honestly peeved about something I had said.

"I don't have time for your games, babe." He says in a low, cool voice. "Give me the remote or I'm breaking your arm."

"I am not giving you this remote, Byeongkwan." I growl. Feeling heat rise from my stomach up to my chest. "So just forget it."

Byeongkwan snaps and grabs my feet and quickly pulls me off the couch hard. Making me land on my butt with a thud. I let out a yelp before kicking Byeongkwan on the shin, making him grunt in pain.

I almost am on my feet when he grabs my ankle and pulls my feet out from under me. Wind leaving my lungs in a gush when I land on my back. But the remote control stays gripped tightly in my hand.

My brain barely has time to tell my other limbs to move before Byeongkwan straddles my hips and tries to pull the remote from my fingers.

"Get off of me!" I yell, trying to squirm my way out from underneath him.

"Then give me the remote." Byeongkwan growls, pinning both my wrists against the carpet.

I squirm and pull against his hands and weight on me but it does no good. His weight on me only gets heavier and my arms only grow tired from fighting him so hard.

Byeongkwan manages to get the remote out of my clutches and tosses the remote aside. It lands on the kitchen floor with a clatter.

"What did you do that for?" I ask, my face red from fighting him.

Byeongkwan stares down at me, his gaze less piercing than it had been moments ago. Making me pause my struggle against him.

He lets out a heavy sigh and looks away from my eyes. His eyes trailing down the length of my body beneath him.

"Would falling in love with me be so terrible?" Byeongkwan asks quietly.

If words could have stabbed like a knife, his would have. They shocked me completely. I froze and simply stared up at him, not sure how to process these new feelings.

"I...I don't understand." I stutter.

"Maybe I need to help you understand." Byeongkwan whispers as he leans down closer to my face, his breath fanning across my cheeks.

"I thought we hated each other." I point out. My voice weak with his face being so close to mine. My head spinning and my heart ramming against my chest and constricting my breath.

"I don't know if I ever really hated you." Byeongkwan whispers, his nose running down mine.

"Then why all the arguing?"

"Why all these questions, baby?"

My breath hitches from the use of the name, making him smirk as he continues to trace my face with his nose. He had used it before just to annoy me and make me mad. But now it felt different and more enduring. Soothing even.

Not being able to answer his question, I push myself up and press my lips against his. Making him immediately respond and push against my lips to make my head rest back against the carpet.

He lets go of my arms that were held above my head, letting me wrap them around his neck to pull him closer to me to deepen the kiss. His own hands moving to let one go to the back of my head and the other on my hip.

Byeongkwan lets out a groan against my mouth as my tongue slides along his, his hands tightening around me.

His lips pull away from mine slowly as he begins kissing down my jaw to my neck. His teeth sinking into my skin making me push against him and lean my head back to give him access.

My vison starts to blur as our breathing gets heavier and the touches go beneath our shirts before the sound of keys jiggling the lock to the front door break us apart.

When Jun enters, me and Byeongkwan sit on opposite ends of the couch watching TV. Though, I doubt Jun missed what had gone on with the TV remote being on the kitchen floor and the dark spot that had started to form beneath my jaw and Byeongkwan's swollen lips.

I try to keep my breathing from shaking as Byeongkwan's final words echo in my ear, making my whole body heat up with excitement.

"We'll finish this later, baby."

You’re a couple dates in before he finally makes his move. You’re unlocking the door and when you turn around to tell him ‘goodnight,’ he leans in close and presses his lips to yours. The kiss is soft and sweet and doesn’t last nearly as long as you would have liked it to as he pulls away first. It leaves you wanting more, but he only gives you a soft smile and a simple ‘goodnight. You sigh as you watch him jog down the sidewalk to the waiting taxi, already unable to wait for the next date.

Donghun

In your opinion, he’s taking too long to make his move. You’re starting to get a little impatient and you feel a little insecure so when he walks you to your door that night, you don’t immediately unlock. You stand there for a moment and then turn to face him.

“Donghuna, why won’t you kiss me?” You asked. His eyes widened. “Do you not want to?”

“It’s not that!” He leaned in and kissed you roughly before pulling away. “I’m sorry.”

And then you were both laughing.

It’s date number five and the two of you are taking a walk through the park. Wow’s always been a man of few words. He’s more about actions. He’d slipped his hand into yours a few minutes into the walk. He doesn’t say a word and neither do you, though you feel your face warming. He pauses and you look up at him, only to find yourself being kissed passionately. It’s like all of his emotions are held in that kiss. It’s as if he’s telling you exactly how he feels without speaking a single word. When he pulls away, his face and ears are red. He mumbles an unnecessary apology. There’s no one around to see the exchange so you pull him in for another kiss, wanting him to know that you feel the same way.

Byeongkwan

He’s wanted to kiss you for an impossibly long time. Once upon a time, you’d just been a friend, but now that seemed like forever ago. He couldn’t remember the exact moment that he fell in love with you, but it didn’t matter. He’d finally asked you on a date after your mutual friends had told him to act before you slipped away. Now he was walking you home after your first date and he knew there would be no turning back. This first date had settled it for him, there’d be many more dates after this, if you allowed it. He threw caution to the wind and pulled you towards him, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. He didn’t want to push his luck. When he pulled away, he returned to the leisurely walk that you two had been sharing, leaving you dumbfounded as you held onto his hand.

He’s a gentleman and waits until the second date, even though he would’ve liked to kiss you on the first date. He’s head-over-heels in love already. As soon as the two of you are outside your apartment door, he’s cupping your face in both hands and pulling you into a kiss. It’s soft and slow like he wants to make it last as long as possible, but eventually you both need to come up for air. He wishes you a goodnight and lets you know that he’ll text you when he makes it home. He walks away with the biggest smile on his face.
