Everytime I see Lovebrush, I lament that I have no memory to play it. I keep thinking I would likely end up playing for Alkaid, but then you throw something like Cael's mention of the Triangle Shirt Factory Conversation, and now I'm not so sure.

I would wholeheartedly talk about the Triangle Shirt Factory with Cael. I'm someone who likes history and I get fascinated with labor history and how laws change, and I have I think we could talk for hours.

Just based on this, Cael seems to kinda match my weird af interests. He seems like he's a joker of all trades sort of person, with just so much info about the most random things or he's into the most random things.

I really lament I won't be able to play this game now. But please continue the unhinged posting. This is just wild. I'm so intrigued and entertained.

alkaid and cael are my favorite weirdos in lbc. honestly, there's a running joke in fandom where there's an absurd amount of overlap between alkaid and cael fans. we just really like weird, emotionally repressed pretty boys who would run into a train if it meant ensuring mc's freedom.

cael is also fun bc a lot of his personal plot involves meeting his younger self (bc he's immortal.) and he's just this bratty silly loser guy. so even though there is only one cael in the whole game, you still get that "i know who you really are deep down" thrill you get with the other four mls. it's just so so good.

cael's also fun bc you're right. he just knows a lot about random stuff, but only rediscovered his sense of humanity recently. which makes for a really enjoyable dynamic where he's discovering things again, but also slowly but surely undoing all of the empire's brainwashing.

but man. lbc must seem so bizarre with no context. one day i'm posting about alkaid paragliding into a lighthouse on purpose. the next i'm talking about alkaid (who is being referred to as prefect luminary and is now a tsundere for some reason) but he's running around in a maid outfit, and then i'm talking about cael asking us for our thoughts on a man's tragic suicide. but i'm also celebrating cael breaking down into tears (but he's called the silver knight for some reason??) also there's a planet of war criminals but it's not really a planet bc it's like a collection of planet rejects keeping alive off the energy of other planets and also whatever the fuck is going on with baby clarence in the glacier also patriarch (one of the ayns) is a hot and young looking immortal old man who used to be a horned fantasy creature in medieval times and he was buddies with mc's mother also who could forget the time cael was stuck in a groundhog day time loop and watched mc die in his arms hundreds of times

what are your thoughts on mankind's innate nature. are we good? bad? something else? what would you do if you had no other option but to betray your morals. integrity cannot accompany you through a lose lose situation. how far can good intentions take you until you lose yourself entirely. what does it mean to live? connect with others?

i was kinda disappointed that the dollhouse mechanic was added so... unceremoniously i guess? in my head it's introduced through an event with routes where each LI turns into a doll and seemingly no one else but them and rosa have a problem with it and everyone else just acts normally

i honestly just consider the dollhouse mechanic to be. non canon. as in it never pops up in stories nor is it relevant to anything outside of the dollhouse mechanic. it's in the same dubious canon territory to me that MR whispers are HAHA

the set up was so LAAAAAME like "oh i made a doll of myself for you" ARTEM ALREADY HAS ARTEMBEAR he would have NO REASON TO DO THIS!! i also can't see vyn even remotely being the one to put initiative into this.
