it’s okay for headmates to change. headmates don’t have to always stay the same no matter what. your likes and dislikes can change, your role in your system can change, your gender and sexuality can change, your relationship to personhood and humanity can change, your status as an introject, fictive, or factive can change, nearly anything about yourself is subject to change, and that’s okay.

It’s sometimes kind of uncanny how some headmates knew they existed even before you met them or knew of their existence.
