I think we needed this.
Shout out to people with Complex Dissociative Disorders (parents edition):
If your parents genuinely changed and improved overtime
If your parents were absent when you were a kid because they were sick / ill / working / otherwise indisposed
If your parents were not your abusers
If your parents would have acted differently if they knew you were being abused
If your parents didn't have the resources or knowledge to help / understand you
If your parents were loving and yet still neglectful
If your parents inadvertently invalidated / didn't believe you, but now do
If your parents weren't your primary caregivers when the abuse happend
If you weren't abused at all and your trauma was medical / environmental / etc
Had emotionally and physically present parents but you still had disorganized attachment with them as a kid because of your delusions / paranoia / etc.
If your parents regret how they treated you
If your parents loved and love you but acted the way they did because of substances / mental illness
If your parents are not completely bad people, or bad people at all
If you still get along with your parents regardless of what they did
If you ever invalidated your own traumatic childhood experiences because your parents were "too nice"
Your trauma is not less valid if you get along with your parents today. Sure, you needed disorganized attachment to your primary caregivers as a kid to develop a CDD. But that can take plenty of formes, and they don't all include your parents being monsters.

How it feels to see a decent system post but then look at the tags and see ‘pro endo’.

Hear me out...
'Endogenic systems', or people who experience alternate identities (simular to DID) without PTSD symptoms and a history of trauma, technically counts as OSDD.
OSDD is DID symptoms without the disorder itself. (Such as alters without amnesia, or amnesia without alters.)
By saying you support people with OSDD, you inherently support endogenic systems.

Is it just me or do endos just post the most surface level things about plurality??
I saw a post saying "Plural culture is having to explain to your friends why you sometimes don't remember things and act different."
Like sure that's true but it's like one of the most well-known things ever, it's been said hundreds of times.
It honestly strengthens my belief that these people really don't know what plurality is beyond Tumblr and maybe a Wikipedia page or two. It just makes it seem like they didn't put much effort into learning what plurality actually is beyond the most well-known things about it.

Why are so many people on here pro endo or endo neutral. I thought it was common sense that exclusively traumagenic disorders can only form thru trauma. Being pro endo is like saying "I believe people who don't have trauma can have post traumatic stress disorder" or "I believe this person without any money, has a lot of money and is actually wealthy." It makes no sense.
Pro endos, pro non traumagenic systems and neutrals DNI. Y'all piss me off so bad. Please block me ASAP.

Hey, it’s not your fault. You were just a kid. You may still BE a kid. But I know a few things for certain:
You didn’t ask to be born into this world.
You didn’t ask to be treated the way that you were treated—whether it was by bullies, parents, or other family members.
You didn’t ask to “be a burden” to your caregivers, you deserved that space to be loved and safe
You didn’t ask for your consent to be broken.
You didn’t ask for the shame and guilt someone put you through.
You aren’t bad for something happening to you. You aren’t your trauma.
I’m sorry if you were ever made to feel that way, and I know that may never mean much coming from a stranger, but I know it’s something I wish I heard more.

Me saying ‘endos do not interact’ does in fact mean endos do not interact.
It doesnt mean to send asks or comments arguing with me for being anti endo.
It doesn’t mean trying to justify being pro endo to me or trying to get me to support the belief that you’re endogenic.
It means do not interact.

Something really not talked about with trauma disorders is the paranoia.
Being scared and jumping to conclusions when people stand a little too close to you, not believing people’s compliments and thinking they have hidden motives, not believing when people tell you they like/love you, thinking that strangers you see on the street want to hurt you, etc.
