The Lion King Soundtrack
Release Date: July 10, 2019
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It’s only two days away from the release of the live action movie, The Lion King. This is one of the of the top movies I have been waiting to see when it comes out, and if it is as great as the soundtrack, I can not wait!
The soundtrack to The Lion King has nineteen songs and features the cast from the movie. It also has instrumental songs for parts of the movie that don’t require singing. There are two songs that are my favorite off of this album, they are “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Hakuna Matata”.
“I Can’t Wait to Be King” is performed by JD McCrary (young Simbs), Shahadi Wright Joseph (young Nala), and John Oliver (Zazu). JD McCrary and Shahadi Wright Joseph sound amazing together as young Simba and Nala.
My second favorite song is “Hakuna Matata”, which is probably everyone’s favorite song from the animated movie. This song features Seth Rogen (Pumbba), Billy Eichner (Timon), JD McCrary (young Simba), and Donald Glover (grown Simba). This song made me laugh when listening to it because Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner make a great team together. At one point of the song, it goes to a instrumental section before they introduce Donald Glover who play’s older Simba. The actors put their own spin into the original song making it a newer version.
Other people featured on this album are:
Chiwetel Ejiofor - Scar
Hans Zimmer
Beyoncé - Grown Nala
Lebo M
Elton John
Lindiwe Mkhize

Voyager by 311 Review
Release Date: July 12, 2019
Stars:⭐⭐⭐
Voyager by 311 is the tenth album by the rock band. It has thirteen songs and lasts 44 minutes long.
Even though it is a rock album, some of the songs have rock music mixed with other genres. "Don't You Worry" is an example of one of the songs that have rock mixed with reggae.
It wasn't a great rock album, but it okay.

Hotel Diablo by Machine Gun Kelly Review
Release Date: July 5, 2019
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hotel Diablo is Machine Gun Kelly’s fourth studio album. It has fourteen songs and features Naomi Wild, Lil Skies, Trippie Redd, Madison Love, Phem, and YUNGBLUD & Travis Barker. It is one of his best album.
The song “el Diablo” sounds like his song “Rap Devil”. It shares a lot of the riffs. In “Glass House”, he does shootouts to Lil Peep, Mac Miller, and Chester Bennington, who all pass away. There are two interludes on the album at are less then a minute long, that are funny little acts.

7 by Lil Nas X
Release Date: June 21, 2019
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
7 by Lil Nas X is an EP that has eight songs, including his hit “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus. This album also features Carbi B on a song called “Rodeo”.
I like a few songs on the album. But I don’t care for “Old Town Road”. There are two different versions of the song on the album. The first is the one featuring Billy Ray Cyrus and the second version is just Lil Nas X performing the song
It is a good start for a up and coming artist making his way into the music industry. He is also working his way into the hearts of the LGBTQ community after coming out during Glastonbury Festival.

“Let’s Rock” by The Black Keys Album Review
Release Date: June 28, 2019
Stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The album “Let’s Rock” by The Black Keys is the latest album for the alternative band. It has twelve songs, and lasts for thirty-nine minutes. It sounds like every other albums of theirs but also had a hint of country music in some of the songs. There was no songs that I was interested in but I did not hate the album.
The album cover is all black with the name “The Black Keys” in pink outline and “Let’s Rock” in all white. Then, it shows a picture of an electrocution chair with pink and white lightning coming from it. It is very simple and clan looking.
Some people looking into this album might notice that the first two songs, “Shine A Little Light” and “Eagle Birds” sounds like their El Camino album, while the rest has the hints of country within them expect for “Lo/Hi”. The song, “Lo/Hi” is one of those songs I could see in a driving scene in a commercial or movie. The instrumental layout also sounds like it the sound they have in the background of the Lowe’s Home Improvement commercials.
