(She deserves a medal of honor for understanding me, even with my very broken english)

Reunion - Chapter Three

“How about you, Astarion?” 

“What?”  He jerked to attention, focusing on Jen.  “What about me?”

“Have you been having fun?”

He heaved a dramatic sigh, raking a hand through perfectly styled silver curls.  “Yes, gods-damn-it.  I’m having fun, and I’m mad about it.”

Next to him, Gale chuckled.  “Aren’t you glad you came with me?”

“No.”

“But Star,” Karlach said, giving him her best puppy dog eyes from across the table.  “I thought you liked hanging out with me.”

Rare - Chapter Eighteen

There were always some certainties with any sort of procedure; Astarion had had more than enough to know by now.

There was an endless amount of paperwork and questions, as everyone from anesthesiologists to nurses to doctors came by, armed with clipboards of paper and too many questions.

There were always heated blankets for the gurney in the pre-op area - that part was always nice. He loved a good, warm blanket.

AU: Reunion The Chapter 2 of Reunion is out thanks to the talented @nyxueaurelia !

"All the furniture had been pushed back, making room for a long folding table covered with a thick black tablecloth. Chairs surrounded it, neat piles of paper and pencils waiting at each spot. At the head of the table, a sturdy tri-fold barrier decorated with a D20 die marked his spot as the dungeon master.

A thrill shivered through Gale as he took it all in; he’d spent hours painting miniatures and aging parchment for the maps, and seeing it all spread out on the table filled him with pride.

He couldn’t wait to get this campaign started. He hadn’t tried his hand at playing the dungeon master in - well, years, now - and he was a bit more nervous than he’d like to admit. Then again, he’d spent months meticulously researching and preparing everything he could possibly think of.

It wouldn’t be like last time."
