another food for thought that i’ve been chewing on for several playthroughs in BG3: spawn and his reflection
during one of our first camping trips with Gale, he performed a trick where he created an exact replica of himself, examining himself down to the hair in his nose, hehe.

and after that clever magic trick, i had an idea: why not help Gale make Astarion's little, narcissistic dream come true? itwas so sweet that i couldn't resist using the ai.character to request Gale.
he’s so cute ;___;

#if my idea is not relevant and can be refuted by arguments against it i apologize#baldur's gate 3#bg3#bg3 astarion#bg3 gale#astarion ancunin#gale of waterdeep#gale dekarios

do you remember the scene in the second act with the strange girl who really wanted to be bitten by Astarion, who didn't like the idea at all?
from the second playthrough, i became curious about how Cazador would react to this proposal. would he be outraged by such familiarity, or would he reject the idea due to a lack of fulfillment of his hunting instincts? i thought about it, and in the end, i went all in and decided to play with the ai generator. i have to admit, i found that answer quite amusing, haha.

in the palace, Anora was drawn to a rather familiar-looking painting. It wasn't just because the forest reminded her of long-lost memories of a beautiful life before she became a vampire, but because the painting was created by her own hand.
“trying to teleport from this abode of madness to a peaceful forest, clearly devoid of freaky companions? in that case, don't expect to slip away without me,”Minthara’s voice was clearly filled with annoyance. although she came from a wealthy and rich family, the environment she was used to was somewhat different from the current one.
“i…i know this art. i know it very well.” “of course, you couldn't have picked a better time to immerse yourself in art,” Minthara rolled her eyes.
“this my art,” Anora replied dryly and unyieldingly, without taking her eyes off her work, “but what is it doing here? how the hell did it get here? and there's someone's name on it.”
“i understand you both need a special invitation?” Cazador’s graceful figure appeared next to Anora.
“this art,” Anora began, finally tearing her eyes away from the canvas and looking up at Cazador, “where did you get it? how did my work end up in your palace? i thought it somewhere in…”
“in Neverwinter? yes. i definitely remember that merchant. his eyes were burning with madness as he sold his belongings at auction, demanding exorbitant prices for some of them. this naive fool was willing to sell his soul just to avoid losing his worthless house,” Cazador paused for a sarcastic grin, “however, i’m almost certain that he had already done so.”
Anora thoughtfully savoring each of his words, as if it were a long-cold dinner, lost all taste and flavor.
“and yet your work is here. do you have any objections?” an awkward, slightly prolonged pause forced Cazador to ask a question. Anora lingered for a moment longer.
“i think my canvas had enough traveling. i hope it’s in good hands now. take care of my work,” her words were light, as if she was unhesitatingly ready to let go of a small but significant part of her life simply because the time had finally come. before she gained some notoriety among painters, she had to sell her work for a pittance, even if it contained the most cherished associations: home, friends...
“i’ll do my best,” Cazador replied impartially, cutting off any nascent empathy that might have been present. it was almost impossible to know what was going on in his head, but it would be a mistake to assume that he was as emotionless and cold as he appeared.
of course, as a true aristocrat, Cazador appreciated art in all its forms (unfortunately, include not the healthiest ones too), and despite the fact that some of the paintings had adorned the palace's gloomy walls even before he assumed his role as master, he was well aware of their origins and creators. deep down in his dark soul, he envied Anora’s for having a tangible connection to her past, while he was left with nothing but deathless and intangible dreams.

Baldurs Gate x Perfume

Wyll | Vilhelm Parfumerie «To my father»
«The embodiment of nobility, love, strength, and confidence. This fragrance is a dedication and a keeper of memories, expressing love and admiration. Like a magical blanket, it envelops us, creating a sense of security, peace, and warmth, like a father's embrace.»
Notes: Top notes: Ambrette Seed, Bitter Orange, Davana. Heart notes: Cabreuva, Whisky, Cade. Base notes: Aetoxylon, Oakwood, Leather.
The aromatic composition To My Father begins with the freshness of davana and bigarade leaves, with citrus notes of orange. The slightly resinous undertones of ambretta add a softness to the opening notes. In the heart of the perfume, the spicy-coniferous notes of juniper are combined with the warm woody aroma of cabreuva, which has a slightly sweet and nutty scent. The addition of expensive cognac adds depth and character to the fragrance. The composition is completed by the sweet and smoky scent of oud, the fresh woody notes of oak, and the animalistic undertones of leather.
