Heatwave still rolling through and on day two of drowning in humidity while ensuring animals remain comfortable despite.

We got extremely lucky in that [DragoNut] managed to record and make vods of the two AnimAsian panels for Rise of the Titans. The other one got weirdly region blocked and never been able to figure out where it's still accessible. At the moment at least this Art Panel still works. This can't be backed up at the moment as youtube has done something again. Hopefully soon.

hi aaron. i have an ask about the ending of wizards!! (hoping it hasnt been asked yet)

i believe(?) i read that one of the ideas for post-full-troll jim was for him to become a changeling. was there a reason he turned fully human again instead? thank you!!

For Wizards, we’d originally planned for Claire to use her new mastery over dark magic to turn Jim into a changeling, just as Morgana originally created them back in the Middle Ages. (Merlin couldn’t do it or refused to acknowledge the possibilities its powers, because he never learned or trusted dark magic.) Jim would have been able to shift between human, half-troll and beast form at will — or perhaps via his emotions, not unlike The Hulk.

This ending was altered when those working on the follow-up film determined Jim’s arc for the movie would revolve around him coming to terms with losing his powers and being “merely human” during the magic apocalypse. Sadly, our ending simply wouldn’t work with that direction for the film.

For the curious, I’ve attached a small snippet of the original outline grid to see how it would have slotted in rather elegantly.

can and how would Blinky and Dictatious make up after everything that happened in the Darklands/after?

Would Dictatious ever acknowledge what he did was wrong and apologize to Blinky? Again sorry for asking so many questions I really appreciate you taking the time to answer them 🙏

Given how they both tend to over-intellectualize things, I’d imagine they’d have a heart to heart that was the equivalent of twelve hours of talk therapy and hash it out, both apologizing profusely.

I was rereading Nimona when I noticed a lot of familiar faces in this scene.

As an artist, I know how hard it can be to create so many different characters you're just going to use once, so for one of my comics I just used characters from other stuff and drew versions of them.

Well, looks like ND Stevenson did the same! Does anyone look familiar? Maybe there's more of them (that guy with the sunglasses and beard), but so far I've got Katniss, Obi wan, Pacha, Kuzco, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, maybe Bilbo Baggins (not sure), so that makes the one behind him Gandalf and the last one looks a lot like ND himself.

After seeing this I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for the next scene with lots of characters. Here's the original vignette:

Nomura's name is and has always been Nomura with no first name. Just like Prince recall Aaron mentioning at some point. This does however bring the question, how did that take off and become fannon in the first place? Well the answer is Trollhunters A, B, C's by Luke Flowers which was created for a Trollhunters gallery Nucleus exhibition! For some reason it was taken as official and the rest as they say is history.

Back in 2021 on the French amazon, a unique Amulet toy was discovered that used USB charging that has never been spotted elsewhere. Said listing is now defunct though some of the text still exists on the discord preview.
