Hoodie X GN! Reader X Masky | “Rock Paper Sisscors” |☁️
This struck me at like, 3AM while listening to Devil in Diguise. I’ll probably write more parts to this tonight if im being honest.
!Gender-Neutral reader!
Trigger Warnings: Sexual mentions.
Word Count: 2,317
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Can you go any slower?" You laughed, stopping to allow your friend to catch up. Sweat dotted her chocolatey forehead as she panted.
"Yes! I can." She wheezed. "You're just too fast!" Taylor whined loudly, bending herself in half to try and catch her breath. You rolled your eyes and pulled her up, raising her arms over her head.
"You'll breathe better this way," You told her, taking a step back and taking a long sip of your icy water. Taylor nodded her thanks and slowed her breathing gradually.
"Wanna keep going?" You asked as you wiped your mouth on your wrist. Taylor feriously shook her head. "I'll pass, (Y/n)." She whimpered. You put yout arms behind your head as you began to walk down the worn dirt bath.
"That sucks," You murmered. "We were only 1/4th of the way done."
Taylor gaped at your cocky smirk. "And you do this everyday?"
You nodded. "Twice a day if I'm feelin' lucky," You winked and giggled. Taylor shook her head in disbelief.
"You're a machine," She grumbled, jogging to your side. You could tell she was tired, but she was the one who asked to join you in your near-night run. She said she needed the exercise to get the perfect "summer body", even though it was fall.
You hummed. "I didn't know they made sexy machines now." Taylor pushed away the urge to roll her eyes, though she desperately wanted to. She chose not to answer your stupid comment. You both started to walk back to your dorm and planned a junk food movie night. You had the feeling she wouldn't last, but you couldn't say no to her puppy face. You had to admit, you were a sucker for your best friend.          Taylor ended up chugging the rest of her and your water bottles greedily, but you didn't blame her. She was pretty out of shape. The darker skinned girl took a large gasp of fresh oxygen after finishing off your beverage.
"Learn to breathe, my God," You snorted. She glared.
"I just ran a mile, you can shut your mouth, you fucking monster," She hissed playfully.
School campus soon came into view after your bickering. Taylor grumbled about how badly her feet ached and how she was never running ever again. You parted ways at the dorm. Taylor wanted to get the living room set up for the movie and sent you out for snacks and drinks. You easily migrated to the everything store. That wasn't its actual name, you couldn't care to remember what it was, but the everything store seemed to suit the run down shop better.
You pushed thr glass double doors open, a cute bell ringing to announce your presence to the cashire, Michael.
"(Y/n)!" He greeted with a smile. You returned the facial gester with a small wave of your own.          "What're you here for this time?" He leaned his head on his open palm, his eyes trained on your figure. You had your back turned to him as you read the movie names on the rack.
"What does it look like?" You chuckles, plucking a familar title from the shelf. 'Kiki's Delivery Service', a childhood favorite of yours. Michael didn't verbally answer, he was too busy allowing his eyes to roam your every curve.
His eyes snapped to the side when you turned around to wonder down the candy isle. You shoved a KitKat , snickers, and (f/c) into your arm (allowing an extra of your favored one into your pocket, shh) before you turned the corner, finding the energy drinks. With a childish grin you grabbed a few of the better Monster flavors. You knew you had popcorn at the dorm so you didn't bother trying to find a box here.
You decided to check out as quickly as possible, avoiding as much conversation with Michael as you could. He gave you the creeps. He always tended to make sexual remarks regarding your running outfit, like how your shorts made your ass look plump or how cute you looked with a flushed, tired expression. In general, he didn't seem like a good guy or influence, though Taylor took an odd interest in him. She always had shitty tastes in men.
It was getting late, you noticed. The sun started to darken as students scrambled to their respected dorms or apartments off campus. You made your way to your room. The illuminated cobblestone path gave you the worst horror movie vibes, so to say you booked it was an understatement. As soon as you were inside the safe confindments of your dorms living area, you released a loud sigh of relief. You thought about taking the elevator up, but decided on the stairs to the third story. You were very grateful you were on a higher floor, to you it served as a lesser chance of being robbed or murdered.
"I brought a movie, candy and monsters, come on, you filthy goblin." you called into the freakishly neat room. Taylor was a very, very messy person so you tended to pick up after her more than you'd happily admit. It didn't take long for you to set positions for certain objects in specific places. Example, your shoes stayed in a small, plastic, blue bin by the door. They didn't ever make it to the carpeted floor of the living room. You had a key rack by the door so your keys were never lost or misplaced and Taylor had insisted you needed a coat rack, so your bookbags and Taylor's purses hung there. Any extra blankets, pillows, and sheets were placed neatly in the spare closet.
"Monsters..?" Her brown head popped out from around the corner.
-----------------------------------------------
Taylor had passed out halfway through the movie, not that you were surprised. You pouted. You were very well use to it, but it wasn't any less disappointing when it happened. You carefully laid her on the couch, not bothering to wake her. She was a literal demon when she was woken up. You covered her body in a large, fluffy blanket before standing, pacing for a moment.
You wondered back to your organized room and grabbed your large spray bottle you kept on your dresser. You stared down your mass of plants in your window seal and the few on your night stand and hanging from the ceiling before watering the ones that needed it, leaving your Rainbow Bush succulent alone. Satisfied, you grabbed your school jacket and your earbuds and phone before slipping your shoes on at the door.
It was almost 1 before Taylor and you had finally settled enough to sit and watch the movie, so it was fairly late now. But, regretfully, your body was still pumped from the sugary drinks you consumed not long ago. You made a quick choice to go on a short run to tire yourself out a bit before retiring for the night. Sure, wasn't the best idea to go out at night, alone and defenceless, but you prided yourself in your speed if needed. Besides, you've done it before and you were obviously still alive!
You made your way to the dirt path you ran earlier in the day, struggling to remember a stupid songs name. You grinned when you figured it out and hurriedly played it. The opening played through your earbuds as you gently bobbed your head to the beat.
"There are boulders on my shoulders, collar bones begin to crack, there is very little left of me and it's never coming back," You sung softly along with 'Be nice to me'. An old, but greatly loved song from your middle school years. You began to run.
Your lips parted in a content smile as a phrase slipped past your teeth.
"You're a killer, and i'm your best friend. I think it's unfair, your situation,"
You began to bounce on the balls of your feet excitedly. "You say i'm changing! I'm sorry I didn't know I had to stay the same!" You jumped as your legs moved, your voice growing louder and bolder with every word thoughtlessly spilling out your mouth. You became unaware of the eyes watching your movements, head tilted in confusion.
"Your voice is driving me insane!" You shouted, hopping more as you swished your head side to side, getting louder everytime the phrase was repeated. The last note rang through your ears and you let out a joyful that was quickly cut off. The overbearing feeling of being watched dawned on you.
You jerked around and scanned the treeline, your eyes falling on a tall male facing you with a tilted head. You stared at him, confused before your gaze fell on the bloodied pipe dangling by his side. You fearfully and turned around, bolting in the direction the path led you to. You didn't have much time to understand why he was watching you, but you could hear his heavy footsteps crushing dead leaves as he raced after you.
'Molly' blasted into your ears loudly, making you jerk in surprise. If you were going to die tonight, you were glad this was the song you'd die to.
You could hear him distantly still chasing after you. Not to brag, but you could run a mile amd keep going onto the next without breaking too much of a sweat, though you'd be fairly tired.          Speaking of tired, you could feel the drousiness spreading to your head and deep down you knew that you couldn't keep the pace up for much longer.
Sucking in a deep breath, you turned into the woods, lifting your feet high so you wouldn't be the stupid one to trip on a root and be killed first. That would be an embarrassing way to die and not even Molly could make it better, you concluded.
So you did the most logical thing your sleepy brain could think of.
You climbed a fucking tree.
The man was a far enough distance for you to get a good amount of height between the two of you. You panted, your palms itching with needle-like pain from the rough and merciless bark, but pulled yourself up another branch and looked down. The man was panting heavily, bent over as he struggled to force air into his most likely burning lungs.  He stood up after a quick second, glaring up the tree at you.
Childishly, but overcome with a sense of acomplishment, you stuck your tongue out at him.
Bad idea, you concluded when the guy's gloved fists clenched by his sides and he started to climb.
You squealed. "No! Fuck off!" You shouted. "Pick another goddamn tree, you humanoid orange!" A growl ripped through your teeth as you glared fearfully at him.          To your surprise, he got down. He moved his head to stare at you before sitting indian style, his face pointed to you.
For the first time you had a proper look at him, and you weren't surprised. He looked like he came from a shitty horror movie. He wore an orange hoodie with a ski mask hiding his facial features, a red frowny face sitched into it. He had dark blue, wore out jeans and black boots that looked to be kept as clean as Taylor would keep her living space.
'Best friend' Began to play quietly through your (f/c) earbuds and you forced down a snort at the timing. You were hoddled up in a tree while a guy who most likely wanted you dead watched from below. You shook your head and glanced at the dark sky.
'The stars are out' You thought as you spotted the little dipper, the big one wasn't far away from it's child.
It only took about ten minutes for your easily distracted mind to get bored. You stared down at the hooded man as he drew in the dirt with his pipe. An idea struck you, a bad one, but an idea nevertheless. And it wasn't going to kill you, with a lot of hope, it may allow you to live another day.
"Yo, tangerine!" He flinched at your loud voice, moving his head to stare at you.
You held up a fist with your dominate hand, your opposite going under it, palm up and open.
"Wanna play rock, paper, sisscors before I die?"
The man stilled before very, and I mean very slowly nodded. You allowed yourself to snort. Now you were going to play a childs game with a murderer.
"Do you know how to play?" You called down. He nodded again and held up his hands. "Cool," You said.
The orange-clad killer was absolute shit at rock, paper, sisscors. He was even worse than your nephew, who was six and had the attention span of a squirell. Sometime in your game playing, you had moved yourself a few branches down to see him better in the dark woods. You now sat a branch above his head.          He didn't move much, but his shoulders seemed to slump.
You threw rock, again, and he threw sisscors. You gave an evil victory crackle whiele he glared gloomily at his open fingers.          "That was fun," You stretched your arms over your head, yawning. "Can I go now?" You calmly asked.
He didn't move for a long while, looking between you and his gloved hands, the, back to you. Finally, he nodded. You hopped down, smiling widely.
"Thanks," You said nervously. He was trying to kill you earlier, so you wouldn't be completely off guard around him. You started to shuffle around him cautiously. His arm shot out, grabbing your upper arm roughly. You flinched hard, looking up at him with wide eyes.
This is it, You thought He changed his mind and wants to eat me!
Instead, you heard a deep voice whisper.
"You can leave if we can play again soon."

Soulmate AU |Tsukishima Kei X M! Reader| ☁️
Im writing these at random until I can figure out how to make a request section on my page.
Trigger Warning: Cursing
Word Count: 1,306
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soulmates.
You didn't understand the concept of a soulmate. Sure, you understood what it was, but not why it existed. Soulmates are supposed to be your destined partner or something cheesy like that. At a young age, you were overflowing with excitement when your words first appeared. You were four and grasped what a soulmate was quick. Your parents gushed about it almost daily, saying how beautiful the experience was for them and how they just knew your destined one would be the perfect match for their baby.
16 long years later you stood at the entrance of Karasuno High. You awed at the two-story building and high gates before you were tackled by an orange blur.
"(Y/n)! You beat me here!" Shoyo screamed, hugging your body tightly. Hinata Shoyo had been your best friend for as long as you could remember. You had helped him train for volleyball when his other friends declined to, mostly out of pity. But soon, you came to enjoy the sport, though you never joined the middle school team, to Shoyo's dismay. You still played with him (And alone) in your free time.
"Where else would I be? Nekoma?" You chuckled, ruffling his curly mane.
"Isn't that in Hiroshima?" He tilted his head like a confused puppy. You facepalmed at your friends' stupidity.
"Tokyo, Shoyo. It's in Tokyo." You sighed, looking up at him slightly. You were only an inch or so shorter than the hyperactive ball, so you were both often confused for middle, or elementary, schoolers, to your frustration.
"Hey, (Y/n), are you going to join the volleyball team?" He asked as he picked up his fallen bike from the dirt. You shrugged carelessly.
"I mean, I'll see what type of people are in it, but I make no promises." You said. Shoyo was bouncing excitedly, a wide grin on his childish features.
"I hope you join," He said, looking ahead. "Why's that?" You curiously muttered. Shoyo took a second to answer.
"Because it'll be nice having a friendly face on the court," He looked at you hopefully. You were taken back for a moment before a soft, content smile spread across your face.
"I bet.."
"Plus, you're like, super cool playing."
You raised your eyebrows. He continued.
"Your sets and receives are amazing! And your spikes are like 'Woosh!' then 'Blam!' It's so cool!" He bounced on the balls of his feet, his contagious grin stretching ear to ear.
"You're incredible too, Shoyo," You chuckled. "You're super fast and you go like, uh.." You paused. "'Zoom'?" You nodded. "Your jump is breathtaking! You can jump higher than me!" You remembered his last match of his middle school career. You were dragged to the game, though you would've gone willingly, and witnessed Shoyo's remarkable speed and jump first hand in a serious match.
It stunned you into an awed state of admiration for the boy. Although he had lost, he seemed to have another troubling thought on his mind. As you rode back to your school he kept rubbing his wrist, staring blankly out the window. After a while of dreadful silence, he told you that the guy he lost to, the King of the Court, was his soulmate.
Eventually, you both had to part at the school bell. You promised the ball of sunshine you'd go to the gym that the Volleyball team occupied after school. You were also very positive he had memorized your final class to pick you up in case you decided to run.
While Shoyo was athletically skilled, his brain was far behind. His grades have only gone down (or up if he knew the topic for once) since you've known him. You ended up learning twice the amount of classes you were assigned that year to help Shoyo pass with at least a D.
You even started carrying around candy rewards for a passing grade. It motivated the boy, so you never minded totting them around.
The day was painfully boring, each class doing an introduction that took up a majority of the period. The teachers did a huge slideshow and pretty much gave their life story and gave the students a total of ten minutes to say their name and an interesting fact about themselves. You didn't mind. You hated public speaking anyway.
Your final class came to an end as you internally leaped for the skies. You reminded yourself to treat Shoyo for getting through the long day.
"(Y/n)!"
Speak of the devil, you giggled. You turned to see Shoyo sprinting at you, full speed. You stepped back, avoiding his deadly collision, and gripped the white hoodie he wore under his uniform.
"Walk," You reminded him. "The gym won't run away, I promise."
Shoyo pouted. "But! Let's go! We're wasting precious time!" He begged pitifully. Sighing, you caved.
"Here," You held out an orange-flavored lollipop. "For surviving."
The ginger looked into your eyes gravely.
"It was a long and difficult battle. I barely made it out alive."
You snorted. "Good job, soldier."
You finally made it to the gym and Shoyo wasted no time in leaping into the empty space. Well Almost... empty. He froze, staring at someone.
"Shoyo?" you peeked in and quickly understood.
Kageyama Tobio.
You honestly zoned out during a majority of their childish banter, only snapping back when Shoyo and Kageyama were tossed out the gym like strays then all eyes fell on you.
You pushed yourself off the wall, nervously waving at the group.
A tanned guy spoke first. "I'm Sawamura Daichi, a third-year and captain. A pleasure to meet you...?" He trailed.
"Oh, uh, I'm (L/n) (Y/n), first-year. Pleasures mine," You bowed respectfully.  "Just call me (Y/n)," You smiled softly.
A pale-haired male popped up, grinning. He had a cute mole under one of his honey eyes. "I'm Sugawara Koushi! Vice-Captain and third year." He gave a small bow that you returned.
Gradually everyone introduced themselves with a pause from two more characters entering the gym.
An adorable boy with green-tinted hair and freckles cheeks caught your attention first, then your eyes trailed up the tall figure beside him. You swallowed quietly as you took in his appearance. Short, blonde hair fell above his taunting, golden eyes. A white pair of headphones were wrapped around his neck. He gave you a pointed look before giving a short introduction.
Yamaguchi Tadashi and Tsukishima Kei.
Somehow Kageyama and Shoyo ended up in a 3v3 volleyball match set for a later date. You were easily confused and frankly, too many people made you anxious, and your stomach to act up. You reminded yourself of Shoyo before matches.
You made a quick escape to the other set of doors across the gym, sitting on the cold stairs and allowing the wind to brush your hair aside. The sun was starting to dip below the horizon, casting a colorful pattern to paint the sky. You adored sunsets. You loved the colors, the gradual change from day to night as the stars peeked out while the sun was changed to the bright, white moon.
"Are you okay?" Yamaguchi asked worriedly, sliding next to you. You nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, lots of sound and people make me feel sick," You sounded pathetic, but you didn't want to lie either.
"Aw, the shrimp can't handle a few people? How unfortunate." A low, taunting voice said behind you. Your eyes shot open, taking a slow breath in. You whipped your head around to the Tsukishima smirking down at your hunched figure. You froze, recognizing those words from anywhere. You've read them over a thousand times, after all. You forced back a deep blush, instead deciding to lift your middle finger and grinned mockingly at him, saying the series of words you knew were inked into his flesh.
"Suck my dick, you crusty, dusty dinosaur."

Kenma Kozume X Male Reader | “Fighter” | ☁️
I wrote this out of boredom at like, 3AM.
Word count: 2,345
Trigger Warning: Fighting, cursing, blood.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Such bullshit, you thought as a group of violent alphas glared up at you. You clicked your tongue, swinging your prized metal bat off your shoulders, slapping it loudly against your palm.
"You're such a nuisance," you grumbled.
"Us?! You're the one spreading their pheromones like a whore!" The self-proclaimed 'leader' spat, venom lacing his words. You rolled your eyes, moving your body into a fighting stance.
"Yeah? But aren't you the shitbag who touched that omega chick without consent?" You lowly growled. The alpha faltered, giving you your answer, before snapping back to reality. "She asked for it! Practically begged! Her scent-!"
"Her scent, what?" You took menacing steps forward, pushing your bat under his chin aggressively. You were relatively tall which made you intimidating along with your mean features but you weren't feared enough to be spared violence due to your second gender, and Omega. You could easily be mistaken for a powerful Alpha from afar.
You were born with slanted, glaring eyes and a harsh resting bitch face, so you could understand why people tended to avoid you at first glance.
Your eyes glared with pent up rage as you lifted your bat above your head and brought it down on the shitty alphas shoulder.
A sickening crack echoed through the empty alleyway, the alpha gasping in pain before another blow from your knee slammed into his chin. He stumbled back onto his ass, gripping his shoulder pathetically.
"Your scent is disgusting," You grimaced, waving your hand in front of your nose.
"Get them, idiots!" He whined loudly. His goons charged you a second later. Swiftly, you dunked under one's metal pipe, kicking his gut and pushing him off his feet. You dropped to the concrete and quickly knocked another's ankles from under him, swinging your bat over your head (hitting someone's chin in the process), and bounced it hard against his soft belly.
You rolled over but was forced back by a shoe to your cheek. You hissed, looking up before having your silky locks fisted and your face smashed into a hard kneecap. You gasped as blood oozed from your nose.
You forcefully shook off the pain and grabbed your offender's wrist and with a burst of short-lived power, swung him over your head and knocking him out cold against the hard floor.
You laid there for a hot second, staring up at the baby blue sky. There weren't any clouds, you noticed sadly.
You were tempted to fall asleep but you were sure when the sad excuses of alphas woke it wouldn't be pleasant for you.
You knew the scene looked horrible to an unknowing eye, but you couldn't bring yourself to give a single shit.
You sighed and picked your slightly bloodied weapon up to lazily toss it over your shoulders, walking to the entrance of the alleyway.
Though, surprisingly, you had bumped into someone. It wasn't your fault you couldn't see him, you had the worst vision. You furrowed your brows internally, you needed to see an eye doctor soon.
The guy you bumped into bristled like a startled cat, taking a short step back as he clutched his Nintendo DS close to his chest. You glared down at him.
"Ah... Sorry," He muttered, lowering his eyes to the ground. He glanced down the alley at the sound of a pained moan.
You scowled at the noise, releasing a loud sigh through your nose.
"No, sorry. I wasn't paying attention." You quietly said. Kenma nodded slowly, looking back to his gaming device, not caring too much about the very obvious fight that had just ensued.
"You play Animal Crossing?" You asked, recognizing the soft music instantly.
Though shocked a guy like you knew the game, Kenma nodded again.
"Cool, me too. Give me your name," You said smoothly, though internally you were ecstatic someone else played the game.
That's how you met the pudding haired boy. After exchanging your contact information, you went your separate ways.
You texted Kenma first.
To: Kenma
From: (Y/n)
I want to play COD. Do you have it?"
To: (Y/n)
From: Kenma
yeah. whats your gamertag?
To: Kenma
From: (Y/n)
DyNaMiTe.
Don't ask.
To: (Y/n)
From: Kenma
I won't.
Let's play.
To: Kenma
From: (Y/n)
Oh, btw, do you have a mic?
After adding your new friend on the Playstation, you connected to a call and played several rounds of COD before you got bored of slaughtering random enemies.
"Let's play Mario Kart," You stated.
"Okay," Came Kenma's short answer.
You ended up playing until sunrise. You had to admit, the bloodshot eyes and sore muscles were worth it. Kenma was a surprisingly good player and you could say with confidence he was now a gamer buddy.
More time passed since you met the setter, but he knew deep down it was only a matter of time before he was forced to introduce you to his childhood friend. As of now, he was thankful he told him very little about his newfound friend.
The more you hung out with Kenma at school the more open he became, giving you longer answers rather than his short, to the point ones. Sometimes he'd call you randomly at night requesting you play Animal Crossing with him and everyone else had gone to sleep.
It was a lie. Kenma didn't have any other friends, but he wouldn't admit that anytime soon. He had to go when a loud voice called for him to get his ass to bed, though you weren't sure who it was. Maybe his dad? But he sounded young. You shrugged it off, it wasn't your business anyway.
A week later you and Kenma sat on the roof of the school. You took a large bite out of a thick sandwich layered with meat and cheese. Kenma favored a neat bento his mother made him the night before. Occasionally, you'd glance at his teriyaki and whine. It took a while but the blonde finally gave in, holding a ball of meat in between his chopsticks towards you.
"You wanted one, right?" He muttered, avoiding eye contact. You grinned and sloppily took it from him, thanking him as you chewed. Kenma grimaced and wiped at the corner of your mouth with a napkin.
"Don't talk with your mouth full, idiot.." He whispered.
Aw, look! He's being nice~ Your inner Omega swooned. You pushed down a blush, though Kenma could've sworn he saw a thin layer of pink dusting your cheeks, though he couldn't tell due to a large bruise. He brushed it off.
More time passe. As the days increased so did the bruises, cuts, and even a few stitches. Kenma had noticed you being pulled out of class through the window of his classroom but never really questioned it, assuming you were skipping with your friends.
He couldn't have been more wrong.
"You're fucking joking," You muttered, staring at that shitty alpha from a few months ago standing in front of your classroom. He had innocently claimed his teacher needed to talk to you, something about your grandma's passing or some bullshit excuse. Your grandmother had been dead for three years.
"Come along now, (Y/n)," He whimpered sadly, patting your shoulder. "You wouldn't want anything bad happening to your little blonde pal, would you?" He whispered dangerously in your ear. You allowed him to lead you out of the classroom.
You glared, growling. "You're bluffing," You accused, crossing your arms across your chest.
He raised a brow. "Am I? I have a buddy in his classroom, all I have to do is get him to bring your pal out. He doesn't look like a very strong alpha..." he trailed off, a sick grin pulling at his cheeks.
You cursed under your breath, an image of Kenma's small, shy smile crossing your mind. No way in hell would you let this dickbag of an alpha touch what's yours.
Mine.  Your Omega growled loudly.
 Ours, You thought back.
You would protect him all you could.
After school Kenma went to volleyball practice, per normal, but you weren't waiting for him when he left his classroom. Normally you would pick him up and walk him to the gym then wait on the side of the gates where Kenma would make up an excuse to walk home with you instead of Kuroo.
He furrowed his brows, confused. He checked the bathrooms on his way to the gym, not seeing you. Did you get sick? He made a quick stop at the nurse's office, asking if you had gone home. She shook her head, claiming nobody had gone home today.
As nervous as he was, he made his way to the volleyball court, changing into his proper shoes. As little as he normally played, he couldn't get his mind off you. He had a sinking feeling something was very wrong.
As much as he didn't want to admit it, he had started to develop feelings for the taller Omega. He had denied it for a while, but he had soon come to terms with it. What was the point in acting like they weren't there? It would be there anyway. He couldn't act like his heart didn't start to pound in his chest every time he saw you or how worried and protective he felt when he saw a new bruise or cut on your body.  He felt butterflies when you laughed at your victories in first-person shooter games or that childish grin you got when he caved and let you have his teriyaki at lunch.
"Kenma!" Kuroo called, jogging over. Kenma hummed, looking up at the raven.
"Are you alright? You're more out of it than usual," Kuroo asked, his brows knitting together worriedly. The blonde bit his lip, looking down, to the left and right before meeting his gaze again.
"You.. Know that guy I told you about?" He muttered.
Kuroo raised his eyebrows. "The one you're madly in love-" Kenma yelped, slapping his hands over his mouth quickly, his face exploding into a red blush. "Sh!" he hissed.
Kuroo smirked behind his friend's hands, giving them a wet lick. Kenma gagged, jerking his hands away and wiping them violently on the rooster haired male's black shirt. "Gross..." He whined.
Kruoo laughed, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, I know the guy. What bout him?"
The setter sighed, voicing his concern. "He wasn't here today to get me," He started. "He didn't text me he was leaving and it looks like he's getting.. hurt more often." His voice dipped into a whisper as worries and anxieties flooded his brain. Something wasn't right, he just knew it.
Kuroo hummed, tapping his finger on his chin. "Have you asked him?" Kenma shook his head. "You should," Kuroo gave him a long stare. "I don't see why you haven't."
Kenma opened his mouth, then closed it. "I don't know." He said. "Somethings wrong," He looked down, shuffling his feet. "Really wrong. With him."
An overbearing scent caught his attention. Faintly he smelt the omega's natural scent, pine, and fresh campfire.
"Find him," Kuroo smiled. "I think there's something between you two, more than a bro-bro relationship." He teased. Kenma blushed, wasting no time in changing into his outdoor shoes and Volleyball jacket before he bolted out the door. He zipped the red jacket up to his chin and smelt the cold air, searching for his crush's scent.
He ran to the gates of the school and made his way to the empty park. It was concealed by the thick forest and thicket, but the unmistakable smell of him.
He pushed through the thorns and sniffed the air. His smell was strong, he was close. A heavy feeling of anxiety and excitement settled in the pit of his stomach as he broke through the bushes.
Kenma's golden eyes caught sight of a figure hunched over in a swing and he jogged over.
"(Y/n)?" He asked. You flinched at his voice, as comforting as it may have been to you, you lowered your head, your hair blocking your face.
Kenma's nose picked up on a dreadful, and disgusting scent. Blood.
"(Y/n), what happened?" He lowered himself to the dirt, looking under your bangs. "Please, look at me.." he muttered, reaching up to brush the hair away from your face.
You sniffed and looked up, tears brimming your narrowed eyes as blood dribbled down your face from a large cut across your temple, your nose, and busted lip. Your knuckles were a bright red, dotting with blood. A tear slid down your cheek and you hurriedly wiped it away, jerking your head aside.
"It's nothing," You growled. Kenma narrowed his eyes, standing up.
"It's not." He said.
"It's nothing, Kenma." You whispered, smearing the blood across your face when you rubbed your sore nose. "Just a stupid fight."
"(Y/n), talk to me," Kenma muttered, glaring down at your hunched form. "I can't help if you don't fucking talk to me, you know." You winced at the harsh curse. The shorter one didn't cuss often, only at games when he lost a hard round or when he was pissed.
"I said it's nothing, drop it." You hissed, your (e/c) orbs piercing into his honey eyes. He held your stare sternly.
You caved.
"Someone threatened to hurt you if they didn't get revenge. They wanted a punching bag for a while. In exchange, they'd leave you alone. Satisfied?" You huffed childishly.
Kenma gaped at you.
Had you really gone and got yourself beat to a pathetic lump all so he was spared a little pushing around?
When he didn't answer you took a breath.
"I'd rather be a human punching bag than allow the guy I love to get hurt," You grumbled, holding your breath. Yeah, fuck you, you knew what you were saying. You were low enough and if the setter didn't return your feelings the internally bruising would heal with your external cuts.
"The guy you love?" Kenma whispered. "You... Love me?" he stared at you, slightly wide-eyed. You nodded stiffly.
"Me too."
