Teaching and schooling-
Akio always wanted to be a teacher, ever since she was young. Though she never presented as a Fighter or a Sacrifice, as she should’ve, she was allowed to attend Seven Voices as a child. She always wanted to emulate her teachers, and when she graduated without presenting, she immediately and without hesitation attended college to be a teacher. She was ecstatic when she was offered a student teaching position at Seven Voices, as that was the place she always wanted to end up teaching at.
She was a fairly average student in school. She particularly excelled in art, as painting was a hobby of hers. She also had a liking towards biology, which is why she was so happy to be Aoyagi-sensei’s trainee. Honestly, though, she would’ve been more than happy at any position at Seven Voices.
Akio truly did love her students. She loved teaching and everything it brought with it. She wanted to be looked at as more of an older sister to her students than an authority figure, and her students had great liking towards her, as well. She was friends with many of her students, though with the students that had romantic intentions towards her, she would gently brush them off, as she never believed in teacher-student romantic relationships. This is a different perspective than many other teachers at Seven Voices, clearly.

Forgetfullness-
Akio was always rather forgetful. It’s not uncommon for her to completely forget where she put something. Honestly, she would lose her own head if it wasn’t attached to her body. Because of this, when her engagement ring was taken, she assumed that she’d misplaced it and began to frantically look for where she could’ve lost it, rather than thinking that someone had taken it from her.
She is also fairly disorganized. Her desk is always chaos, though she fervently claims that she can find anything in the mess. Her forgetfulness was one of the many traits she passed on to Soubi, as well as her disorganization to an extent.

Note
Soubi had been young when everything had happened. He’d just barely turned six, still being a very small, emotional child. This man certainly looked like her son, his face mirroring hers in almost every way. It was a wonder that Soubi had inherited almost nothing from his father. But this man did not act like her son, not the way she would’ve raised him, and once more, Akio was hit with the realization that this was her fault.
Still, she smiled, and reached out to him. Soubi was taller than she was now, and she had to stand on the tips of her toes in order to properly reach him. She wrapped her arms around him, burying her face into his shoulder, holding him tightly, just to make sure he was real.
It's been a long time, Soubi. You look so grown-up.
Soubi did not scream, he had to be given credit for that. He also would be more shocked if Seimei had not so recently ‘come back from the dead’, if anything he was starting to think this was part of his fate. That everything, everyone, he loved would die just to get away from him. Just to leave him to Ritsu.
His fingers did tremble as he reached out for the woman that looked so alike him, or, more like, he looked so alike. “…Mom.”

“Being his mother, I believe that is my place to decide that.”
She wasn’t backing down from Ritsu, despite his stern and powerful tone of voice. Clearly, over the years, the power given to him had changed him. He hadn’t been this bad as her student. No, he’d had some sort of humility back then, something that he’d obviously lost after being appointed to the de facto leader of the council. There was no doubt that his position had done nothing but stroked his egotistical personality.
“Tell me, would you have done the same thing to Sanae-san?”
"Good afternoon, Ritsu-kun. Good to see you again."
“A…..Akio?”
