A sequel to astrology 2: Astrology 2 II (Astrology 2 two)(Astrology 3)
This is from a backlog of shitposts; originally a little over two years elapsed between the creation of astrology 2 and astrology 2 II. Just a sidenote about the crungulus timeline I guess

As portended in my last post, I have made that gay little collar that Haskill wears in Oblivion. He is, as the Mad God says, a snappy dresser. Still a lot of kinks to work out of this design but I like it.
I Did Not Want to be in the pictures. I also Did Not Want my messy, distracting workspace to be in the pictures. So here it is being modelled by a stack of miscellaneous objects in front of a hastily assembled backdrop of black clothing and supplementary scribbles. With a necklace in the 2nd picture for added Haskillescence.
AND. I made this with fabric leftover from this wizard hat, which is being modelled by a plastic skull and another hastily edited background because, once again, I Did Not Want to be in the picture. But isn't the ambiance just so much greater this way?
I don't have a proper pattern for either of these, but the closest thing I have to patterns & process details are below if anyone's interested.
My approach to sewing is largely improvisational (idrk what I'm doing), but I did some planning this time.
Both projects involve five panels joined together, and lots of hand stitching because I do not have a sewing machine. Maybe someday.
The Haskill thing has one front/center piece, two symmetrical side panels, and two symmetrical back panels. The back panels join via fasteners I made of some wire I found. A lot of this is made of stuff I found. I have incredible luck.
Here're some pictures of a paper mockup I made via trial and error and its pieces. Seam allowances are not shown.
^ There are 2 pieces of this shape that mirror each other. same w/back pieces.
I ended up sewing a dart down the middle of each panel for a better fit and more accurate look.
I put wire framing in each leaf/petal thing -- basically just slid the wire into the spaces left after hemming. Like, the void between the folded fabric edge and the seam itself. There's gotta be a word for that, but I don't know it. Please tell me.
The wire goes beyond the petal shape itself so that it's anchored in the neck part. Does this make any sense at all? I'm sorry
Unfortunately, I did not have thread in a good color for this (used it up w/the hat) so I just used white, and maybe I'll dye it someday.
I'd never made a hat before this (previously, I had only ever made minor repairs to existing garments) but it felt pretty intuitive. Wizard hat: five identical panels sewn together. Cone that flares out. Bam!
Here's a diagram I just drew with my finger.
The fabric I used was rather stiff (I have no idea what it actually is -- I got it for free cause someone else was discarding it), and I designed the hat with this fact in mind. The vertical seams provide enough structure that interfacing was not necessary, but if you wanna do something similar with softer fabric, you might want some.
I also put wire in the brim. I love wire. Can't get enough of that stuff. I'd eat it if I could. Maybe I already have. The outer edge of the brim is wrapped around a piece of steel wire that I shaped into a circle.
Originally I did some geometry to get the measurements super accurate and then forgot to put a lot of it into practice. The creative zeal was just too great. It worked out anyway, except that the hat is slightly small for my thick, luscious skull, which I have been told is "deceptively large." But it's close enough to wear.
I believe that fate wanted me to succeed in this endeavor because I also got a very wizardly shirt for free, and it MATCHES!

Apparently I felt inspired to write a novella-length response to your question this morning. Could be useful, could be an incoherent mess, find out under the cut!

Another pill drawing! Pill discovery story below the cut
I was working this event a couple months ago, walking at the back of a parade and collecting the trash left in its wake, and somebody dropped this slimy little baggie into my trashbag. And I had to restrain myself from immediately plunging my hand into the trash to pull it out and see if my eyes had decieved me, or if I had in fact seen pills in there.
So instead I simply spent the entire rest of the parade thinking about it. And then as soon as I clocked out, I walked away with my trash bag to look for those pills. Because the organizers who put us on trash duty didn't provide, like, a dumpster or something -- they just made everyone gather for this cult-like little "final circle" closing thing we do (and we're all just holding bags of trash throughout this), and then they were like, ok you can leave now :) and sent us off with our trash. Which was a little weird, but good luck for me, a person who was really hoping I'd be able to abscond with my trash and look through it.
Anyway, I found a public trash can out of sight of my coworkers, and I carefully and slowly emptied my trash bag into it until I saw the baggie of pills, removed it, and took some pictures. And boy was I ecstatic. What an incredible find. Probably allergy meds for a child or dog given that the pills seemed to be mixed in with apple sauce or something. Five pills in this bag! All gross and wet and slimy. A joy to draw, even if I couldn't take them home (due to the slime situation).
I've got some other pill drawings in progress -- maybe someday I will be satisfied enough to post them. This one I hesitated to post because I'm not entirely satisfied but I don't want to redo it

I dived into the pool. I had made my decision almost impetuously. I didn’t know if I’d have such an opportunity later. Strike now, I told myself.
It was night. Stars peeking through above, the lights of Los Angeles a glittering carpet down below us. The pool was lit, but water distorts human vision. Things that are solid appear to wiggle and squirm.
I dived in, surfaced just behind Allison Kim. I grabbed her around the waist and pulled her down under the water.
Anyone who’d seen us, and there were dozens and dozens of humans around the pool, would have thought I was engaging in a game of some sort.
Allison thought so. Then she realized I wasn’t letting her surface. I punched her hard in the stomach, forcing the air out of her lungs. I punched her in the side of the head, stunning her.
I held her head close and kicked my way down to the bottom of the pool. She struggled, but Jenny Lines was younger and stronger and an expert swimmer.
I pressed our ears together and reached out to her. It was Lowenstein’s pool, so we had long since dispensed with the chlorine that would have burned my slime coat.
I reached to her across a gap of sun-warmed water. Entered her ear. Pushed with expert ease down through her ear canal. Around the bones and through the membranes till I touched her mind.
All I needed was contact with her motor functions. I found them quickly enough. Tapped into her arm and leg controls. Froze her, paralyzed her.
Then, I began to disengage from Jenny Lines. I withdrew from that empty brain, keeping just one control contact till the very end. Stretched now between the two humans, half-touching Allison, half- touching Jenny, I gave a last instruction to Jenny Lines.
I made Jenny breathe.
Then I broke contact forever. Allison Kim, the new me, waited till it was too late, then made a show of hauling Jenny Lines to the surface.
I performed the primitive human methodology for resuscitating a person who has attempted to breathe water. It failed as, of course, it must.
