I’m gonna say it here because I don’t know where else to express myself. I hate, HATE whoever posted that Kendrick’s halftime show surpassed for viewers Michael’s halftime show.

Since that was posted, people have been ranting about how Michael’s halftime was way better than Kendrick’s and how we “dare” to compare kdot to michael. Let me tell y’all something, we the fans ARE NOT comparing them in any way, they are both great artists who have had their own time. Kendrick has said multiple times that he DOES NOT want to be compared to MJ because he doesn’t think that it’s okay, he respects the records that MJ broke and he doesn’t want to “surpass him” or compete with him.

NOW, because of that unnecessary comparison that people created, a lot of mfs are trying to bring down Kendrick as an artist. Why are y’all trying to compare two amazing and talented men? what’s the reason??? it’s crazy to me that these people are trying to make it seem as Kendrick did all of that because of the Drake drama, he told a story, he talked to the world about HISTORY through music. Even MJ would have understood and be proud of what Kendrick has accomplished.

I just feel disgusted to see people trying to compare two artists that I like, and respect because of a fucking show. Let everyone enjoy both of them without bringing down one of them. Kendrick deserves this because he earned it, as well as MJ in his time, period.
