This is my newest D&D character while our Eberron game is on hiatus. Her name is Valeska, she is a dancer and performer. She for some reason plays way too many instruments. I'm looking forward to getting to know her.

Nine-tailed Fox

This is Ren, nine tailed fox and latest piece of artwork. I've been watching and reading some stories with kitsune in them lately and fox people seemed fun to draw.

I have a few other fox characters I'm working on, hopefully I'll have time to colour and ink them sooner rather than later.

I think this was a sketch I did on a "create a fairy OC" or a "roll a character" type thing a while back. It has been sitting in limbo for a long time and I had some time between classes to do some inking. Things just kind of flowed from there and it was fun to try and figure out how lighting even works. I also tried to keep it to just one of the built in palettes from procreate to see how that went. I ended up sticking to it until the end where the colours looked a bit washed out, then I added some purple for the shadows and that added the depth I was looking for. Apparently it was good colour theory, which I know about on paper but when it actually comes to utilizing it my brain just can't parse.
