“Goddess Work”
I hold worlds in my hands
like it’s light work

but it’s heavy.
Heavy like promises I kept
when I was bleeding.
Heavy like love I gave
when I was needing.
And still
I rise.
Still I pour.
Still I open doors
for people who forget
I have ones of my own
I’ve yet to walk through.
I mother, I mentor, I mend.
I love like the ocean
boundless,
but taken for granted
till the droughts come.
I give chance after chance,
turn my pain into plans,
build thrones out of scraps
and still kneel
when I should stand.
But no more.
I’m the fire,
the flight,
the full moon at night.
I’m soft wind and sharp tongue,
warrior and womb
don’t get it confused.
I carry myself like the goddess I am.
And you should too.
This body, this breath,
this soul deserves
adventure.
Deserves the plane ticket,
the passport stamp,
the dream life not just posted,
but lived.
I deserve mornings in Bali,
evenings in Ghana,
tea in temples,
kisses under foreign moons
because why not me?
I’m always showing up
when they don’t.
I’m hardest on myself
while they coast.
But I’m done
making myself small
to make others whole.
So this is the gospel of a goddess:
Give, yes
but keep some for your own garden.
Love, yes
but not at the cost of your glow.
Rise, always
but rest when needed.
Because taking care of others
doesn't mean
you forget you are divine too.
A walking miracle.
A living prayer.
A masterpiece in motion.
A goddess and that’s truth.

I ain’t your typical queen in pearls.
I’m the barefoot priestess, blessing these streets.
Hood roots, halo high. Divine with a twist.
Lip gloss shining like truth, sharp as a blade.
Call me chaos wrapped in calm.
I’m the storm they try to avoid
but need when life gets dry.
I rain wisdom.
Make deserts bloom.
Turn pain into power.
Drip holy oil like hustle.
I’m heavy with history.
Gold hoops. Gospel. Grief.
I speak to spirits while stirring the stew.
Ancestral hands grip my spine
and whisper strategy when the world gets loud.
Don’t test me.
There’s altar smoke in my breath.
Prayers in my pocket.
Rage that could resurrect the dead.
I’ve seen devils in Dior
and angels in Air Forces.
I walk like the moon watches me.
Like the sun reports back to the ancestors
every time I rise.
I’m a goddess.

Slick-tongued. Sanctified.
Crystals in my bra.
Scriptures carved in my scars.
Power in my hips.
Love so deep it could cleanse a wound
you forgot you had.
I birth legacies.
Not just babies.
I manifest empires out of EBT and faith.
I am what happens
when the hood remembers it is holy.
So bow when I pass—
Or don’t.
Either way,
you felt me.

sometimes the softest parts of you hold the strongest magic.
your gentleness is not a weakness it's a spell, a storm, a sanctuary.

keep choosing softness in a world that tried to make you hard.
you are sacred. remember that.

You deserve to be in environments that bring out the softness in you, not the survival In you.
