Hi tumblr and welcome to my new and freshly moved blog! Thanks if you decide to join me here as well.

So after a lot of thought I decided to post this - I’m making comic based on a Drarry fic. (ohgodohgod) Fic by digthewriter.

I wasn’t sure if I should do this as you see I’m brilliant at not finishing projects and I didn’t want to show a half finished project to the interwebz. But I guess now I have to, right? Haha! Hah, hahaha…. ha…

I’ve been struggling a lot with my art skills. For over two years now, whenever I was drawing something, practicing over and over again, I felt it’s just not great, I dont like it and I didn’t know why. It was pretty depressing considering drawing WAS basically my life and I grew up using my drawing skills to socialise and to take pride in. I associated myself with my art and having that rotting away in front of my eyes was not a happy place.

But I decided to force myself a little after waiting for such a long time. I always had this vague dream of having my own comic made someday. I’m still unsure if that day will ever come, but I wanted to at least prepare for it a little? I wanted to finally do something, like a project that will boost my confidence at drawing a little again. Something that reminds me the of the joy of it. Something to FINISH.So here it is. It’s not great, it’s not bad but this is where I am at the moment and I will work on it to get better. But I need to be a functioning adult and actually finish a project no matter what. Self discipline eh?

Plan is that I post a new page each week.

Ice Breaker

"Alright. I'm heading out." Ron stood from the table, leaving Harry and Draco looking at him bewildered.

"It's been five minutes, mate," Harry furrowed his brow.

"Yep! I'm leaving. You've been Parent Trapped." Ron grinned and did finger-guns at them. Harry groaned, his cheeks flushing.

Draco looked even more confused. "What does that mean?"

"It's a Muggle movie," Harry said, narrowing his eyes at Ron. "Mate, what the—"

"I'm tired of this." Ron hardened his jaw, placed both palms down on the table to lean over them, and tried to give them both his best Intimidating Auror look. "I hear you—" he pointed at Draco, who blushed—"pining and going on about him at work. And you—" he pointed at Harry, who blushed even more, "pining and going on about him outside of work and I can't take it anymore!" He huffed. "So. This is a date. I've broken the ice. You're both welcome. Goodbye."

With that, Ron turned and walked out of the pub, whistling happily, acting as if he was leaving Harry and Draco to their own devices.

Once he was outside, however, he ducked behind the windows, rushing around the side until he was certain he wouldn't be noticed. Then, he stayed crouching down but slowly rose up and peeked through the window.

It hadn't taken long. They were already smiling at one another. Harry slid his hand across the table and Draco laced their fingers together.

Ron grinned to himself, straightened up, and continued home. His work there was done.
