You Know Too Much [DeathNote Fanfiction] Chapter 5-Characters Met.

The day continued and you are left with embarrassing thoughts in your mind. What happened earlier was definitely something you didn't expect.

"That wasn't funny Mal!" You glared as they continued to mock you about the scene earlier.

"I didn't think you'd be that clumsy." Mal chuckles

"Such an insult..." You mumbled silently as you refrained yourself from looking at them

"You're actually self-aware, that's great." Mal replied. <--(Outsiders can still hear Kyoko's silent outburst against Mal whom they cannot see)

'Yea yea, I know there's people watching...I can't believe I got out of hand in the first place, to the point I even screamed. This is so awkward and embarrassing.' You contemplated to yourself so that only the two of you can have a quiet conversation using your minds.

A few moments pass and as you and Mal sat on a bench, both eyes landed on L and Light who seemed to be heading towards the coffee shop near the university as they talked to eachother. You gave Mal a gesture before you decided to follow them, the scene where L interrogated Light about Kira was about to happen. You enter the coffee shop and watched them from a table ahead in a crouched position, obviously eavesdropping their conversation while pretending to look at the menu.

"Is it necessary for you to sneak on them?" Mal asked

'Yes, I'm doing this in order to make L suspect me even more and take me to their Headquarters. I'm pretty sure that L is very much aware and cautious of his surroundings which could make me a suspect for eavesdropping them.' You thought as a message. (Mind-communication)

"That's an interesting scheme." They acknowledged, Mal pondered for a moment before inquiring;"Would you care to explain what you're planning exactly?"

Your eyes gazed at them as your face gave reluctant expression on your face. 'It wouldn't be bad if I explained, right?' You concieved before you glanced back at L and Light's direction, you let out a sigh before elaborating step-by-step. 'So first I'll try my best to be as suspicious as possible, I'm pretty sure that L is very aware of his surroundings since he's an observant, and he would immediately suspect me for doing so. Next is that I predict that L would interrogate me about things linking to the Kira case.'

"And if L doesn't?" Mal asked as their eyes perked up, leaning in

'Then I'll go for another plan.' You quickly responded.

"And what would the plan be?"

'You'll see.'

And now, the scene begins where L questions Light about Kira's messages in order to test Light's deduction and critical thinking skills. The scene becomes quite intense as moments pass by but it was eventually distracted by a phone ringing on L's pocket.

'I knew it, but at this moment... I think it's best for the story to unfold normally for now.' You thought before you stood up and left the coffee shop.

The call that came up was about Soichiro who suddenly collapsed and was taken to the hospital, it turned out that it was stress and exhaustion that caused him to experience a heart attack, not surprising isn't it?

As you were walking down the streets, a black luxurious limousine suddenly blocked the path you're walking by. An elegant-looking old man got out of the car and looked directly at you with a blunt expression on his face, his eyes visible through his glasses.

He came up to you and asked; "Excuse me, are you Miss 'Kyoko'?"

'Oh no, he's... Watari!' Your went wide when you heard him mention your "name".

"Is something wrong, miss?" Asked Watari.

"N-no... I'm alright." You stuttered "And yes 'I am' Kyoko. Why?"

Watari nodded and opened door to get you inside the car; "No, not at all. Please come inside."

"Why? Is there something wrong?" You nervously asked Watari.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you but I'm afraid you'll be taken for an investigation." He responded.

"What?!" You gave him a look of shock

"Before I forget, I'd like to introduce myself; I am Watari."

"Watari?" You questioned, acting confused.

"Yes, I came here because I was ordered to take you to our Headquarters."

"Headquartes?"

He nodded and gave a sharp glance before saying; "Please, let's all keep a cool head shall we?"

With that said-You reluctantly entered the car as sweat dripped on your forehead with the feeling of nervousness washing over, completely tense on the passenger's seat.

Watari glanced at you through the rear mirror; "Are you alright Miss?" He asked in a shallow manner.

Kyoko quickly gave a reluctant nod and looked away.

A cool huff escaped your lips as you looked through the window, staring at the tall buildings you passed by as Watari drives the car.

It's obvious that the headquarters are located right at the cities of Kanto Region, probably at Tokyo or atleast that's what Kyoko thought where it would be. The setting looked decent and a conjested traffic jam seemed common in these particular areas. For now, all you could do is wonder what could happen next.

Once the limo stopped, you gazed back at Watari whom had left the car and moved to open the passenger's door for you.

You left the vehicle and looked around. "Are we at a hotel?" You questioned.

"Yes, Master L prefers a hotel reservation for safer measures."

"Master L?" You inquired but Watari didn't respond.

'Ahh so he does call him Master.' You thought to yourself.

Watari took a glance back and said; "Follow me, right this way."

Kyoko nodded and walked alongside Watari, we both entered the building and took an elevator to reach the top floor; [The Taskforce Headquarters]

The elevator stopped and the doors opened, leading you both to an insanely large room instead of a corridor. Watari stepped inside while you nervously followed ahead-as you looked around you noticed that the taskforce members are absent, perhaps brought out for the interrogation-and that the only thing that seemed present in the room was a silhouette of a man of what seems to be inside the living room sitting on a chair in a crouched position.

You Know Too Much [DeathNote Fanfiction] Chapter 4-University

Everything went well in the past four months. Kyoko had graduated highschool, and now it's time for her to go to college and take the entrance exams.

...

At the university, it was fortunate for you that your student seat number is 170 so you were able to watch Light and L over ahead from behind, you closely observed them as you answered your test papers. Mal only flew around the room, looking over the people around, seeing if everything is all in order. Apparently, it didn't took long before L started to glance at the back, L noticed you, his expression showed a slight hint of curiousity. Thanks to Mal, they were able to make L feel uneased, L at this moment could be thinking that you seem suspicious at the moment. Acting surprised, you quickly stared back at the desk you were assigned and continued answer your test paper in order for him to ignore you as if nothing happened.

Mayu who's sitting beside you looked over and asked; "Why were you staring at that guy?"

Kyoko smiled and turned to her; "He looks so unique!" You replied, your tone had a hint of amusement.

"You really have an odd taste, y'know." She retorted

The entrance ceremony's about to begin.

You stood outside, observing the coliseum that has a tarpaulin with "2007 TO-OH UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE CEREMONY" written on it. Just then, you heard footsteps walking towards your direction from behind. You were expecting Mayu to walk in, but it was surprisingly and unexpectedly Light Yagami himself, stopping his tracks to take a look at the coliseum as well. There's a tall, creepy figure beside him, and it was Ryuk. You're surprised that you were able to see Ryuk, the shinigami even if you haven't touched Light's DeathNote.

Your eyes drifted towards Mal, your voice almost a whisper; "Am I allowed to see shinigamis like Ryuk?"

"You can see him?" Mal inquired with a raised eyebrow

You quickly answered with a nod.

"Oh right, you, the player/soul, can see all the characters of this realm even if it's considered extraordinary or the unnatural." Mal responded.

"So, like if I was brought to JJK instead, I'll be able to see cursed spirits?"

"Yes, something like that." Mal replied.

"Huh, that's actually cool I guess..."

Moments pass, and the entrance ceremony is starting. Both L and Light are assigned to be freshmen representatives since they both got a 100% on all test subjects. They both walked up towards the stage once the host called their names for the freshman address. You could see them stealing glances at each other as they walked towards the main platform.

Once Light began to do his speech, you took a glance at L who clearly seemed uninterested with the school ceremony topic, which isn't quite surprising at all.

You widen your eyes as if acting surprised and said your line; "I think I like the one on the right!"

Mayu raised an eyebrow and looked over; "What?! You're so weird Kyoko. Look at how he's dressed!" She exclaimed

Suddenly, the crowd quickly clapped their hands once Light finished his speech. Once it was L's turn, you could overhear a conversation behind you and Mayu. You gestured Mal to spy on them as you heard the two men discuss about L and Light's differences, Light being formal and L being odd.<--(ep 9). Once L was also finished, both representatives got back to their seats, L turned to look at Light as if to say something, now this is the huge scene where L revealed his public identity to Light. The very scene where Light crashed out soon after.

On the first day, Light and L both went inside the tennis court to play tennis like what they did in the anime/manga.

You were walking with Mayu (and Mal) around the school campus that day, but then Mayu decided to head to the tennis court to watch the two top scorers play. L and Light immediately went very popular around school however, Light was more popular and social which didn't suprise you.

As they played tennis, your eyes couldn't leave L's figure as he swiftly ran trying to catch the tennis ball. You felt your face start to burn as you observed him.

'What's happening to me? Is this some effect?!' You thought to yourself.

Just then, a man came running towards the tennis court, panting agressively and said; "You won't believe this! I thought I heard the name Light Yagami before so I checked. He was the Oh-To-Oh 3 Junior High Tennis Champion! Apparently, during the third year award ceremony he announced it was hanging up his racket. I guess he hasn't played competitively since."

You then interrupted the conversation by saying your line; "Hey, hey! What about my Ryuga? Don't tell me you haven't noticed him holding his own against this former junior high champ!"

Mayu looked flabbergasted while the others turned away to watch the tennis match once again.

As the tennis match continues, Mal suddenly tapped your shoulder and whispered in your ear asking; "Would you like to hear their internal monologues?"

You turned to face Mal and asked quietly; "You can do that? You can grant me mind-reading?"

Mal nods and placed a finger on your forehead to use their magic. Your eyes blurred for a moment before it became clear, you started to hear whispers all around and most of it sounded impressed, merely focused on the match rather than thinking about other things like homework.

You were shocked at first but then you took a glance back at L and Light. You could hear their monologues clearly by looking at them, it almost sounded like they're having a conversation even if they're talking internally in different manners.

L; 'I can see the wheels turning, Light Yagami. I'm already in your head.'

Light; 'There's no way this tennis match will deepen our friendship, this is a token gesture.'

The match began to look just like the anime at this point thanks to the ability Mal gave you. As you listened further, the scene started to feel intense, it gave a good thrill.

"GAME AND SET! Won by Light Yagami, six games of four!" The instructor announced

The crowd cheered suddenly while you were left heavily disappointed because for some reason, you lost a bet of 700 yen with Mayu who was rooting for Light to win in the tennis match, you did all that because you only wanted to act like Kyoko, that's the only reason why you agreed.

Moments later, as Light and L are walking towards the school exit, you and Mal continued to observe (eavesdrop rather) them behind a tree as the two rivals discussed about how the tennis match felt great.

You looked at Mal and asked; "Hey, are you sure I'm supposed to do the right or wrong thing?"

"Of course. I mean, that's the reason why I was ordered to bring you here in the first place."

"I know, but what if I just watch how it all unfolds... would that be convenient?"

"Sadly it isn't."

"Why's that?"

"Father decided that if souls don't make any choices, they wouldn't be examined, leading them to be neither going to Heaven nor Hell."

"What?! You mean like how if Light dies then-"

"Yes." Mal agreed

You sigh and gazed at the two characters once more before speaking; "I can't just go after them, they might just think I'm a fool or something!" You exclaimed

"Well it's your choice, not mine."

"Aghh... This is so fraustrating..."

Just as you're about to leave, you accidentally stepped on your shoe lace and tripped. L and Light stared in curiousity and disbelief while you were laying there with your face on the ground, you looked up in a second and stared at them, your face turned red and left you completely embarrassed.

You quickly stood up and bowed with your upper body down; "Please, forgive me if I disturbed you!"

They stared at you intently for a moment before Light chuckled and broke silence, keeping his cool charming demeanor and said; "There's no need for you to apologize about that."

"Still I apologize! Please excuse me!" You immediately exclaimed in a polite manner before you ran past them.

You ran fast towards the school gates and left in embarrassment. Moments later you found your way to the park and tiredly sat on a bench and looked down in fraustration.

Mal on the other hand couldn't take their laughter anymore and bawled out; "BWAHAHAHA, This scenario's the best one yet!"

You turned to them with an annoyed expression; "I swear you're starting to get on my nerves right now."

Meanwhile, L and Light are both surprised about the sudden encounter.

Once Kyoko ran away, Light continues to chuckle and uttered; "Wasn't she the girl who were fawning over you earlier during the tennis match?"

L nodded and replied; "Yes. She seemed to be the first person to appreciate my tactics and talents. It's quite surprising really, yet I have a feeling our encounter wouldn't last just yet." He mentioned as his voice dropped in a stern way.

"What makes you say that?" Light asked curiously

"She's been spying on us earlier and a week ago during the entrance exams. I'm starting to grow my suspicions at her for some reason."

"That's odd. But I think she really likes you." Light said sarcastically

"Like is a strong word. But I do like the fact that someone appreciates my skills."

You Know Too Much [DeathNote Fanfiction] Chapter 3-The 'Sender'

Midnight came and the sound of the wind breeze from outside lingered on the window, the silence felt so unbearable, you couldn't sleep and there was nothing to do, cellphones don't even exist in this timeline which left you all bored and irritated. 'I should've just brought my phone with me when I died, if only that was possible...' You frowned when you then realized that the only thing to satisfy your boredom is either to start making a move in this verse or study for the entrance exams you will be taking. Exams... studying... those words made you fraustrated, you hate studying.

You looked to your left and stared at the wall clock for a moment. The sound of it ticking start to get louder as seconds pass by, which reminded you of the familiar voidal noise earlier before you gained consciousness.

Your vision blurred once again, and everything went black...

'[Y/N]...'

Then, you quickly opened your eyes once you heard someone mention your name

"Who's there?!" You asked, you got up from the bed and looked around

The whistle of the wind was heard. You glanced at the open window, a strange blue light appeared, the small light looked mezmerizing, reminding you of a firefly (a little bigger than a firefly) just from it's small size. You looked away for a moment before staring back at the window, but suddenly-.

"Greetings." A small odd, soul fire-looking creature in a winter attire appeared right in front of you.

Shocked, you screamed and walked closer to the door. Your trembling hands quickly reached the door knob as you stared at the small creature.

"Hold your horses! I do not intend to harm you or anything!" The creature convinced, flying around as it raised their hands to ensure that it's no danger.

"W-what... are you?!" You asked as your grip on the door knob tightened

"Before I address myself, I'd like you to take a seat and compose yourself." They answered before floating towards the bed and pointed at the spot beside it.

'To be honest, this thing looks kinda cute' You contemplated before slowly heading towards the creature and sat on the edge of the bed infront of it.

"Now allow me to introduce myself, my name is Mlaer Hodos. You may call me Mal in case you cannot pronounce it properly. I am the deity that sent you to this imaginary realm. I've come to accompany you, and guide you to this long journey."

That statement gave you a look of surprise. You're right, You were sent in an anime, you got isekaied.

"Of all animes you can think of, you sent me here? Really? And you even turned me into a side-character!" You bawled

"Oh please, it's not that bad. And don't get the wrong idea, I sent you here because you're dead and your soul or you will be tested using this realm by observing your own choice of actions! This is how souls are seen if they deserve to go to heaven or not." Mlaer explained

Your eyes widened once it confirmed that you're actually dead, but that wasn't much of an important detail just yet, and so, you asked; "So you're saying this is God's way of judgement? By putting them in a fictional dimension sort of thing, to observe their choice of actions?"

"Exactly." Mal confirmed.

"So this is all just a test?" You queried.

"Yes. And before I forget anything, you have the ability to change the storyline without the fear of your own world changing because you're dead apparently. In simple terms, you can do anything without affecting the world you came from."

"I can do anything? Without getting the real-world changed?"

Mal nodded; "Yes. However, your actions will have consequences in this realm. 'Father' is still watching."

"Ahh yes, this is all a test after all."

You pondered for a moment, turning to face the creature once more and asked; "Anyways, earlier you said you're here to guide and accompany me, right? So does that mean you'll have to follow me like Ryuk?"

"Yes, you've got it correctly. And not to worry, you're the only one who can see me as well."

"I see... so you're like Ryuk but you actually help me out instead of just watching over or following me?"

"Yes, I'll be your guide."

You considered Mal's response for a moment; "Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure, feel free to ask."

"How long is this going to end? Do I have to die a good and honorable person in this realm? Or would this just end once the story of DeathNote ended? like if Light dies and I did what's right in this realm it'll just end?" You questioned, looking at them intently.

Mal concieved for a moment and landed on the bed, placing a hand on their chin and answered; "I honestly have no clue."

"What?!" You panicked; "So you're saying that there's so many possibilities?! And I could stay here as long as God desires or something?"

"I do not know, maybe... perhaps it is..."

You fell silent, the room fell silent, and Mal continued to float around studying it's surroundings. Suddenly, an idea popped into your mind. A plan.

"So here's what we're gonna do." You told Mal.

Mal turned and you their full attention; "What is it?"

"Obviously, I'm gonna help L and avoid Light."

"And how are you supposed to do that?"

"You'll just see for youself."

Mal raised an eyebrow "If I may ask, why are you telling me your plan?"

"Because I have a request." You replied, crossing your arms as you looked at them intently.

Mal tilted their head in curiousity; "What do you want me to do? And what do you offer in exchange?"

"All I want you to do is help me get close to L by raising his doubts at me, can you do that? You're a deity after all."

"Yes, but my powers have limits. I can only control one human a day."

"Hm, I see."

"But, how will you repay me?"

"Have you ever tasted human cuisine?" You smirked

"Do you really think I'd accept your petty bribe?"

"You'd be surprised once you get a taste of my cooking skills" You responded sarcastically. (Even if you actually can't cook or can only cook 5 dishes or less)

"You better make it worth the price you foolish mortal." Mal retorted.

"Hey! You can't just call me a mortal, I have a name y'know."

"Yes, I know. Now go back to sleep, tomorrow's monday."

"Dang... you reminded me." You sighed

Mal grabbed a box from under Kyoko's bed, they floated up and tapped your shoulder; "Do you have any spare blankets?"

"I didn't know a god can sleep." You chuckled before getting up and took out a small blanket from Kyoko's drawer and handed it to them

"Thank you." Mal bowed before they took the blanket from you and placed it on the box, and layed down.

"Goodnight, Mal"

"Actually it's morning." <--(A couple of hours had passed)

"What?! Oh dang... I'm gonna be late tomorrow, that's for sure."

'[Y/N]...' whispered the unknown voice

A synthetic voice kept repeating your name over and over...

It sounded worried, as if it's trying to warn you about something...

The temperature suddenly went warmer

And the voidal noise got louder..

"Kyoko"? A young woman's voice is heard, you then felt a slight tap on your shoulder as you felt your arms crossed against a table, or a desk rather, which seemed like 'your' body's asleep.

"Kyoko, wake up already! Class announcement's over!" The young woman bawled as she continues to tap your shoulder, harder this time.

You began to straighten up and slowly opened your eyes to take a look at your surroundings. It seemed like you're in a classroom, the setting didn't look familiar enough for you to recognize though. You glanced at the young woman whom kept calling you by the name 'Kyoko'. Analyzing her features, the more you looked at her, the more she seemed familiar, you recognized her. Who is she?

"Mayu?" You questioned

"Obviously! I mean who else could you think of?" She retorted

'Isn't she a DeathNote side character? Odd...' you thought as you looked at her with wide eyes.

"Am I dreaming?" You mumbled. 'Who's Kyoko?!' You asked yourself as you contemplated.

Suddenly, Mayu pinched your cheek hard enough for you to realize, yet you still felt a little dizzy from the confusing 'dream'.

"Ow! That hurt y'know!" You exclaimed before you slowly carressed your cheek.

"Dreaming huh? Well why don't you stand up and look around to see if you're dreaming or hallucinating, Miss Kyoko!" Mayu retorted sarcastically, the look of irritation still evident on her face.

"If I'm not dreaming then-" You paused for a moment, realizing that what you're about to say wouldn't make any sense, or would it?

"Then what?!" Exclaimed Mayu

"Nothing, nevermind..." You murmured.

"Told ya" Mayu replied with a chuckle, leaning against the wall

"I'll just go ahead and excuse myself to the restroom real quick..." You spoke quietly before standing up from the chair

"Sure, I'll wait for you here"

"Alright..." You walked out, leaving the classroom as you headed towards the school restroom

'What's happening? Why did it get so weird all of a sudden? Who's Kyoko again? Why did I wake up and find myself in a classroom wearing clothes that don't even belong to me?! Why am I wearing glasses? Why did I sound like that? What happened to my voice? What is a character doing here with me? I swear, I just died in an accident!' So many different thoughts and questions lingered in your mind, almost driving you insane.

You arrived at the restroom and looked to your right, your eyes widened in shock once you saw your reflection in the mirror. The person shown in the mirror is not you. Her appearance is a short, skinny young woman with short black hair in a mushroom cut, her body wore a thin pair of glasses and a formal highschool uniform. You stood there, frozen and unable to process of what could possibly be going on. You continued to look at 'yourself' in the mirror. But then it hit you, this was the same figure that looked exactly like the character named Kyoko from Deathnote, L's very first fangirl if you remembered correctly.

You blinked and regained your composure, you quickly opened the faucet and splashed water onto your face before you looked back at the mirror again. Your face suddenly went pale again as if you've seen a ghost, you washed your face and nothing happens-this is not a dream. You wanted to scream out of fraustration but later realized that it wouldn't do any better. You removed the thin pair of glasses on your face and looked at it for a moment, your vision blurred and it seems you've adapted Kyoko's condition. 'How great... Just great!!!' You fumed.

"This can't be happening..." You mumbled to yourself, you then quickly walked out of the restroom before putting the glasses back on as you ran towards the classroom

You said: "Mayu, I have a request for you"

"What...?"

"Slap me, now."

She looked surprised for a moment before walking towards you and studied you intently. "Alright, what did you eat this time?" She asked in an unserious manner.

"Mayu I'm serious." You retorted, keeping your voice stern

She observed you for a moment before taking a step back "Fine, if you insist."

Suddenly she slapped you hard, but not hard enough for you to fall on your knees. You looked at her with your eyes wide open in surprise, fully regaining consciousness as you slowly tilted your head.

"That hurt... Thanks."

"Anytime." She responded in a sarcastic manner

'This is not a dream... what is happening? What is happening?!?!?!?!' You contemplated in a panic.

Mayu studied your behaviour, she noticed the way you looked down and this definitely made her worry; "Kyoko, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I-I'm fine it's just that..." You paused "No, I-I mean it's nothing! Nothing really..."

That made Mayu raise an eyebrow however, she did not respond.

You placed your palm on your cheek again before inquiring; "You're walking home with me, right?"

"Obviously. I mean, you literally live 2 houses away from mine." She retorted

You tilt your head "In which direction?"

"Right!" Mayu shouted <--(soft and agressive dynamic)

"Ah, sorry if that irritated you."

"Eh?! What's gotten into you?! You're supposed to be smart enough to know where you live y'know! You're acting so weird Kyoko... I'm genuinely concerned!" She exclaimed as she crossed her arms while staring at you with an irritated expression on her face, though it seemed like she's actually worried.

"Wait... when will the entrance exam in To-Oh start?!"

"4 months after our graduation"

"And when is our graduation?"

"Next week."

"Already?!"

"Yes! Look, why don't we just go home already. My mom will scold me for sure if I got home late!" Mayu then took her bag from her desk and gestured you to follow her

"Come on!"

You nodded and took Kyoko's bag as well and walked home with her.

Once you entered Kyoko's house, you felt a warm and pleasant presence loom over the place. It didn't look that big enough to fit 5 or more people but it looked nice and comfortable. Her family seemed so heartwarming and welcoming. And her room reminded you a little bit like Light however, the only difference is how well-decorated and cute the room is compared to Light's room.

You layed on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Thinking of scenarios of what could happen next.

'I should stay focused. But first I should see what happens next... You Know Too Much [DeathNote Fanfiction] Chapter 1-Accident

You sighed as you continuously mopped the floor, feeling exhausted due to so much work you've done in the past few hours cleaning and serving customers. An exasperated sigh escaped your lips before you looked through the opened exit door, checking if there are any people nearby outside. You glanced at your watch and a smile of relief washed over your face.

"Seems like my shift's over..." You said to yourself, you headed towards the janitor's room to put the cleaning materials and equipements back to its proper place.

Once you had kept the objects back to its place, you took the key and the padlock from a shelf just below the cashier's desk and closed the janitor's room.

"Working as a cashier and a janitor at the same time isn't so bad after all, atleast my salary doubled." You mumbled to yourself silently as you walked outside and locked the exit door.

You then grabbed the iron screen above you, pulled it down and locked it using the padlock and left.

As you walked through the empty sidewalks, you felt the wind blew in a soft, or rather refreshing manner, it wasn't too cold nor too warm. The streets are empty, and the only sound you could hear was your own footsteps. The moon shined bright and the air felt somehow relaxing. You took a deep breath as you headed towards the pedestrian lane to cross the streets.

Just as you were about to take a step forward, you felt a sudden preassure coming from your chest. You payed it no mind and continued to walk in the pedestrian lane, and just now at this moment, you start to feel unease. Suddenly, light appeared to your left in an unthinkable speed and before you could even react, the huge vehicle had hit you harder than you imagined it would. You stumbled on your back, blood dripping all over your face as the pain in your chest suddenly felt so unbearable... as if you're about to die of a heart attack instead of an accident. Your vision started to blur, you started to cough blood as you layed on the ground helplessly.

The driver got out of the vehicle to check if you're still alive and once he saw you, his face immediately went pale and he started to call an ambulance with a panicked expression on his face. You can tell that the man had accidentally sped the vehicle too fast due to exhaustion judging by his eyebags.

You looked up, your heartbeats slowed, and your breath became shallow. An eerie, unfamiliar noise went in your head and without noticing it, your body slowly closed your eyes by itself... 'Death.' You murmured.

"How am I even doing an internal monologue if I'm dead?"

"It feels so relaxing yet creepy at the same time..."

AGT Team March - April Progress Report

As we head into May, we're wishing the best of luck to all those entering finals season. We hope this update will provide a reminder of some things to look forward to!

[PS2] Fullmetal Alchemist 3: The Girl Who Succeeds God

The first round of proofreading for FMA 3 has officially begun! As well as fixing typos and checking for bugs, there is also a fair amount of lines which need manual word wrapping or trimming down, as shown here.

[NDS] Death Note: Successors to L

Following our last update, our hacker, Illidan, was able to make even more improvements to the font rendering, allowing the variable-width font to display as intended. As you can see, the letters are now more condensed, giving us some much needed extra room for the translations!

[NDS] Mushishi: Amefuru Sato

As the final proofreading round of Mushishi continues to progress, we've been able to use the feedback we've received from testers to improve some instructions about the various stylus-based mechanics featured in the game.

Other

Although things may seem a little quiet on the home front, behind the scenes we have been working on two as-of-yet unannounced projects. If things go as planned, one of them should be ready for release by the end of summer, so please keep your eyes peeled!
