Omg but can you imagine for the Allsan au if Sanji routinely gets kidnapped by his more insistant admirers and the Strawhats have to rescue him because Sanji gets treated so nicely that he doesn't realize he's been kidnapped lmao!

They lure him in by asking him to cook for them, and before Sanji knows it, he's trapped!

For the marines who fall in love with him: the first time Sanji gets taken, the Strawhats bust through cells in a Marine base looking for Sanji, only for Sanji to be in the kitchen, or in his own assigned room! (Or even was given an admiral's room)

Also, I feel like Nami and Robin would be the most effective ones at blocking admirers from Sanji for Luffy and/or Zoro. Of course, Nami charges them high fees for her invaluable service!

Sanji's fatal flaws are his willingness to feed anyone and being a pretty boy. He's oblivious to a point though and there's only so many times he can get captured before he recognizes the pattern. He complains about it probably, a little bit. But it's not like his boyfriends give him the overt affection he desires, and when the marines capture him?

The rookies will throw him in a cell but then the captain will show Sanji to the kitchen and the captain's quarters and Sanji is actually getting worried about the Marines. Are...are they just capturing him to feed them because the food is that bad? Sanji sighs and cooks and bathes in the praise and leaves recipes with the Marines before he gets saved eventually.

Robin and Nami are basically his guard dogs. That's so fucking funny because you know Nami is selling Sanji's time where as Robin simply tells people to back off or they're cannibals, or something. Nami has somehow managed to make several photo books of Sanji(with actually good photos) due to Sanji agreeing to what she wants most of the time. He has the most popular photo books in the blues.

Lol, it will stay just the three, but a lot of people try and fail miserably. Everyone but Luffy see Zoro as a demon and Sanji as an angel, and they can't help falling in love with the pretty blond. Luffy and Zoro will have thire hands full keeping everyone away from Sanji.

But in my other one, that's not a/b/o sanji and zoro have a three some with Ace and Law at the very least lol. If I decide to save Pedro, then I'll add him to the mix as well.

Jeremy couldn't believe his luck. He lost every round of rock paper scissors, and now he had to tell the pirates that beat up Morgan to leave. He opened the door to the bar with shaking hands, the rest of his fellow Marines behind him.

Thire at a table was the once who took them out plus the small pink haired one. The rubber man was sitting and staring at the other two. Their were rumors that Roronoa Zoro demon of the east blue was married to an angel. Going by the fact that a blonde omega with a halo of tiny blue flower atop his head sat in his lap, the rumors were ture. He felt all all eyes om him as he cleared his toaght.

“We are just wondering if you are indeed pirates?” Jeremy asked, hoping that they were going to say no.

“Yup!” The rubber man in the starwhat beemed. “I just found my first two crewmates!” The young alpha beemed at the couple. “So we're an official crew now!”

“Even though you are pirates, in reality…” Jeremy tipped his hat to the pirates. “You saved our town and bace. For that, we are grateful. But,” Jeremy wished he could just leave it at that. “Since you are pirates…as marines, we can not allow you to stay longer. longer. Please leave this place immediately as for the events that occurred here, we will be reporting it to the headquarters,” A rucks of the civilians outside sounded thire potset.

“No,” the angel spoke from his seat on his demon husband. “I have a question, witch one of you therw a child over the wall?” He spoke one eye brow raised in question.

“I'm not sure, but they will be punished,” What eles could he say?

“And one other question, Zoro darling,” the omega drawled, purring the alphas name, a shudder went up Jeremy's spine. He had a bad feeling. He knew that they had no chance against the three. “Just how easy was it to cut Morgan down?”

“Hmm, oh sweetheart you give me far more of a fight on the daily,” The alpha looked at the omega look he was looking at heaven, but when Zoro looked his way gave them a scowl, like he was less the dirt under his shoes. “The rest of them wouldn't stand a chance,”

“Now then,” the omega looked back at them. “Us three will leave peacefully come morning, is that alright with you captain?”

“Whatever you say, Sanji,” Their captain readily agreed. He looked just as starstruck and love sick as the other alpha.

“Now that we have agreed to that you may leave us,”

“What about the pink haired one,” Jeremy asked. He had to know. Sanji had said the three of them. Jeremy turned to the much smaller omega. “Aren't you with thire group?”

I've asked if Zoro and Nami know what a taco is, so now I have to ask about Usopp. Sanji made fish tacos for lunch. I don't think Luffy cares at all. Whatever or not he knows what a taco is he will of course lie about it lol. Probably claim he invited tacos .

How about an allsan au where almoat everyman he meets absolutely fumbles for him when they spend only 5 minutes with him, he ofcourse is oblivious (hes not even bi in denial he's just stupid)

It starts ofcourse with zoro seeing him hold up a marine by the throat, Gin and Luffy being given food out of kindness and nothing else, Ace, crocodile being impressed by the mr prince tricks and so on so on

Also lots of men flirt with him on island but are quickly chased away by a glare and a sword to the throat or a guy wrapping around the pretty boy demanding food (or the good old possessive hat placement)

You decide the end couple but the whole of blue fumble for Sanji fr fr

Zoro choking on his drink as watches Sanji lift a marine by the throat which makes Usopp and Nami giggle at him. Gin falling for him as he eats the best food he's ever had in his whole fucking life that's keeping him from starving to death. Luffy falls in love with the way he talks about the All Blue and cares about his job and others. He's so fucking kind.

Ace falls for the guy who takes care of the others and doesn't let guests work, who spoils the handful of a little brother he has. Sir Crocodile who thinks the blond is cute and clever, who set up chances for his captain to save the crew and then him. Koza who sees how well he's taken care of his princess and the help he's given to take back Alabasta. He still insists on helping to serve and cook and Cobra is giving Koza knowing looks that make him flush and avert his eyes from the king and the cook.

Maybe it's after the time skip, after Dressrosa when Barto is literally drooling over the 'ONLY ALIVE' poster that Law is flustered and asking Luffy and Zoro about the cook. They're staring at him as Robin is giggling to herself because they are possessive. Both of them. It's the Monster Trio. Sanji is oblivious. Both of them are grumbling about Sanji not seeing their obvious interest but it's Sanji. If someone doesn't hit him over the head with a four by four he's not going to take the hint. Ask all of Tashigi's men from Punk Hazard who were crying at the cook not taking their advances. Okay maybe he just needs to be beaten with said four by four. Pedro straight up sacrifices himself for Sanji and Sanji only feels bad he's dead and that his life ended coming to get him.

You got the rest of the North Blue Boys who are obsessing over Stealth Black and Law feels like throwing up if it wouldn't insult the cook, he's so fucking excited. Luffy is over the fucking moon to see it in action. Yamato looking at Sanji from across the party and Luffy asks him what's up and he's just like Law with the whole 'the cook' thing. MARCO KNOWS better, he knows how to make an impression so at one point he's just talking to Sanji and Sanji keeps looking between Marco and whatever he thinks he needs to be doing so Marco just lightly grabs Sanji's chin and says it's rude to not focus on the person you're talking with. Sanji is so red and stuttering as Luffy wraps a rubber arm around Sanji screaming for meat as Sanji is ripped from in front of Marco to like the other side of the room.

Maybe it would end with zolusan or whatever the ship is called. Zoro asks if they have to do what Marco did after all the flirting he and Luffy have been doing for all of their sailing together and Sanji just being confused at what they're talking about.

Sanji & zoro have a house boat that was a wedding gift from everyone. Zeff, the rest of the chefs, Johnny, Yosaku, and Koushirou. What do I do with the boat and where r they sleeping. The three of them r together so shuldnt they have thire own room? But then, usopp will be alone, and wouldn't he feel isolated? Or should I just rework the Marry so they eatch have thire rooms? Shuld they leave thire wedding gift behind?

Sanji waved goodbye to Usopp as he tinkered away at the table, Mr. Noodles lay right next to him being nosy. The long nose man was finishing up hisSanji grabbed the rest of the jerky for Luffy on night watch, more jerky in the dehydrator. He stepped outside for one last smoke of the night, enjoying the cool night air.

“Luffy! Meat!” A long rubbery arm came out of the crows nest reaching for the jerky.

“Thank you Sanji!” Luffy called down as he took the jerky.

Sanji finished his cigarette, dropping the bud into the ashtray he kept in this spot. He would never deliberately drop a cigarette into the water. He loved her far too much to do such a disrespectful thing.

After washing his face and the rest of his skin care, Sanji headed to the boys' bunk room to read one of his romance novels and relax before bed, maybe evem masterbate. He was still horny after thire fight easiler.

He had no idea where Zoro was. He had asked for more time to work on his list and vanished. Sanji spotted Zoro sitting on the coach. He was leaning back, and his legs spread wide, no shirt on. “Mm and what are you going to do if I dont?” Sanji smirked, spearing his own legs, placing them over Zoros. He used his core muscles to keep slef up right as he placed his hands on Zoro's chest, grouping the hard muscles under his fingertips. He could wait to see Zoro get bigger, with proper food the carzy weights Zoro lifted it was only a matter of time. They whole crew could use a good feeding they were all too thin. “Come on, Marimo, tell me what you're gonna do to me,” Sanji whispered in Zoros ear running his tongue across his earing before giving them a little tug with mouth.

“Be a good boy, and I won't have to gag,” Zoro threatened, his hands coming to rest on Sanjis hips before sliding to cup his ass.

“Mmm that should be too hard if all you're just gonna be all talk and no action,” Sanji teased.

“And you call me impatient,” Zoro grabbed his hands gently and warped his tie around his wrists. “is it too tight?” Sanji wiggled his wrists a bit.

“Nope, prefect,”

“Good,” Zoro stood up, still holding on to the rest of the tie, with a bit if shuffling Zoro manged to switch thire positions moving him over to stand under the hook he warped the tie around the hook. Sanjis arms above his head.

Zoro quickly unbuttoned his shirt hid mouth latching on Sanji nipple. The green haired swordsman did wicked terrible things with his toung and teeth drawing moans and whimpers from his toaght.

“Shuch pretty nosie you make, but don't forget if you can't keep your mouth shut, I will gag you,” Zoro warned before he moved over to his other nipple. Sanji bit his lip and shuddered.

Hello anonymous tumblr-using friend!

As someone with a lot of knowledge of & a great passion for real-life historical piracy, I have VERY STRONG OPINIONS about how the Strawhat crew would fit into an actual golden age crew structure. When I said "I have proof" I was jokingly referring to my knowledge of historical piracy and how the characters slot into those trends, not any sort of "in-anime/manga proof" of Usopp and Nami being ""co-captains"" with Luffy, so if that's what you're here for then sorry lol.

BUT if you want to learn a little about golden age western-world piracy, (and my "au" of sorts for how each crewmate would be recognized in that context,) stick around! :)

First off, as i said in my heated/j tags, "captain" did not usually mean what Oda makes it mean in OP's world. I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN Oda is just as passionate about & did plenty of research about historical piracy, and is clearly pulling a little from wakō history, but mostly from golden-age western piracy (specifically mostly the post-spanish succession period, to my estimation).

That being said. Why he puts so much emphases on Captains and First Mates is BEYOND me, because irl they were not as important.

The captain WAS important, don't get me wrong, but they weren't the sole reigning commander of a ship. They were more like a figurehead, most of the time. This is a sortof flimsy metaphor, but think of Captains like the modern-day king or queen of England; They're hyped up as the #1 leader, they're an important charismatic face for the group, and they technically have last-say on important matters, but they are beholden to two other groups (like the cabinet and the prime minister).

During the golden age of piracy, most crews were commanded by a group of three people. These three people were usually the Captain, the Quartermaster, and the Bosun. Each filled a different role on the ship, and all three were democratically elected by the crew. In all important matters, the three would discuss together how to proceed/solve the current problem, and though the Captain COULD overrule the other two at any time, that typically got him handily shoved overboard via mutiny. By technicality there was a heirarchy of power between the three stations, (with Captain usually being the top dog, then the Quartermaster, then the Bosun just above the rest of the crew,) but in practice they held equal sway in decisions that would effect the entire crew.

HOWEVER, outside of "big crew-wide decision-making moments" where you needed to assemble the three leaders, they didn't always have to coordinate. Depending on what situation the crew was currently in, one of them would be de-facto in charge of the crew, and the other two would step back unless the one currently in charge did something that needed to be challenged, like they made a bad decision or (in a more extreme case) broke the articles.

The Captain was in charge during times of battle. The captain's primary role was as a fighter, performer, and military commander! If the crew was attacked or about to attack someone else, the Captain would immediately take charge. (Now, real pirates weren't actually violent in practice as frequently as pop culture would have you believe, but that's a whole other topic. The reason "performer" is listed in the Captain's "jobs" is that part of their responsibility as a captain worth their salt was to scare enemies into surrendering without a fight through theatrics and reputation.)

The Bosun was in charge when the Boat was damaged or needed upkeep. The Bosun was not always the greatest carpenter or shipwright in their own right (in fact, in larger crews, they usually weren't either of those things), but they would be the one to get together with the shipwright and worksmen and assess damage, organize repair teams, and keep the boat running as well as possible. The crew followed their lead during repairs, and they were the go-to authority on any matters concerning the physical boat.

The Quartermaster was in charge the rest of the time. The way the Bosun is in charge of the physical boat, the Quartermaster was in charge of the crew. They were responsible for enforcing the articles, dealing out discipline, and the crew's general well-being outside of battle. In that same way that a bosun didn't have to be a shipwright, a quartermaster wasn't usually a doctor or cook, but they worked closely with them. Being in charge outside times of battle meant that the Quartermaster was also in charge of headings and navigation, and more often than not they were the ship's navigator, or head navigation/deck officer if their crew was large enough to have more than one nav. They also usually handled the crew's finances/pay and cargo. Is this starting to sound familiar yet.

So. After establishing the roles. I don't think I have to persuade you that while Luffy is most definitely the Strawhat Captain, Nami is our Quartermaster and Usopp is our Bosun. At the VERY LEAST this is true on the Merry Go.

You could possibly persuade me that Franky takes Usopp's place as Bosun once they get the Thousand Sunny, but I would be hard to convince. (I could be persuaded that Usopp loses his position as bosun on the Sunny, but Franky does not behave like a bosun as much as a head carpenter, and Usopp functions like his carpenter's mate. It's almost like, post-timeskip, they don't have a bosun anymore, and Zoro fills the newly empty position on the leadership trio?)

Now, these roles are not concrete, and they didn't always make up the "management trio" on a pirate ship. Some very small crews just didn't have enough people that they needed to single out their three favorite guys; they could just all vote on important decisions together. Sometimes the management trio included the surgeon or the first mate instead of the bosun. There were many crews where the Quartermaster was considered the top-dog highest authority instead of the Captain at all times. Even during the golden age pirate crews varied greatly, but the Captain/Quartermaster/Bosun trio was most common.

As for the ship hierarchy, there was a trend you could rely on no matter who the "three leaders" were. Everyone was generally considered of equal importance on a crew, (hence the elected offices and avenue for mutiny,) but there was a chain of command of sorts? Or at least people who would be shown greater respect and responsibility based on what they provided for the crew:

Captain and/or Quartermaster

Bosun and/or Surgeon/Doctor, and sometimes the First Mate

Everybody else, including captain's other mates.

Speaking of Captain's Mates... On larger crews, every important role on the ship had a "mate," or an apprentice chosen by the person in question to replace them if they should die, or otherwise be out-of-commission. Quartermaster's Mate. Bosun's Mate. Doctor/Surgeon's Mate. Carpenter's Mate. Etc. However, the Captain had MULTIPLE MATES, because his job was front-line combat focused. Ergo, he could easily die and need a replacement. Quickly. And his replacement could need a sudden replacement! So, depending on the size of the crew, the captain could have anywhere from two to eight mates, who were ranked by number. That's why the captain's highest-ranking mate is called the First Mate. Because there was usually a Second Mate. And then some more of em.

The First Mate's job is to be a good ass fighter, and back the Captain up on whatever they're currently doing. They hype the Captain up and enforce the Captain's decisions, no matter what that decision is. This is why they were usually not put in the management trio on most crews, cause you could imagine. The conflict of interest. (There's supposed to be three of them so that no one member has too much sway. Which could be sabotaged if two of the three are captain and captain's favorite soldier LMFAO)

I have no idea why, in the world of One Piece, all of the emphasis seems to be on Captains as the end-all-be-all leaders of their ship and the First Mate as the second in command. Especially when Oda clearly KNOWS about the other roles, since he's written characters that fall into them like perfect puzzle pieces!

...Well, okay, I have some idea. This is a shonen series for teens and being the captain/king/etc is wish fulfillment, and wouldn't be as cool for the projecting readers if you were part of a leading council with two other mooks. But. I can still be salty about it LMFAO <3
