i dislike when trans men defend being trans by saying “oh well not all of us are skinny white boy twinks with dyed fluffy hair that love listening to cavetown.” while that’s true and we desperately need to uplift and listen to and give more representation to fat trans men, poc trans men, etc, we also need to realize that some transmasc people are skinny white boy twinks with dyed fluffy hair that love listening to cavetown. and you know what? they’re valid too. no matter how “cringey,” no matter how stereotypical or unstereotypical, no matter literally anything, you are valid.

Transandrophobia goes beyond just being dismissive of trans men, it's this culture within the queer community where transmasc and afab enby experiences and culture are regularly hated and dismissed by the rest of the community. As well as the way any hint of female sex on someone who isn't a woman is hated. Not to mention the insane amount of transphobia + homophobia trans mlm face within the queer community.

Like just look at how every fandom (lemon demon, fnaf, TallyHall, Undertale, backrooms, etc.) gets hated and mocked by the internet the momment the fandom becomes majority afab trans people. I've seen this happen in real time, where fandoms go from being seen as cool and interesting, to being dismissed as weird and cringe, the momment thos shift happens.

Or the way transmasc and afab enby bodies are treated. The way transmascs are bullied for not having body types considered masculine. The searing hatred most people here seem to have for any afab trans person who isn't on T. The way passing is celebrated as a moral good. The way twink has been a polite way for some people to call trans men girls.

Transmascs and afab enbies deserve love and kindness. And they also deserve human respect. Please if your an afab trans person reading this: I love you, I respect you, you deserve to be respected, and treated as an adult able to make your own decisions, you deserve to have your body treated with respect regardless of appearance and for people to be normal about it.

Anytime you perceive a Black person and/or trans woman as aggressive or scary, take a moment to question that. This is a gut assumption many people make due unexamined biases.

Also remember that Black people and trans women and especially Black trans women are under a lot of stress, so they're often writing while angry, sad, and tired. Remember this and choose compassion over fear.

like, okay, consent does literally just mean agree. which is what enables this little rhetorical trick. because there's all this cultural emphasis on sexual consent, which is just expressed as consent, a lot of phrases whose intended meanings are "rape is bad" can be taken literally to mean "i should get to agree to everything that happens in my vicinity."

Tankie are marxist leninist and the word comes from the split of the UK communist party when the USSR invaded Hungary and crushed a workers revolt. Tankie nowadays refers to authoritarians who say they like communism but actually support dictatorship rule, oppressive states, and a new bourgeoisie in the form of a few who control the supplies of the working class.

Typically yes it refers to Marxist Leninist (I originally thought it was Stalinist but researching more has proved me wrong). But the thing is is that this isn’t the only definition.  1. tankie is also just thrown around because why not anything related to communism you’re just automatically labeled as one especially by liberals 

now that is because they don’t know what the word means and the word depends on a lot of context.  2. people who clairify about Marxism what what has happened in communist/socialist countries or even why they happened (usually not defending the action since yeah a lot of things have been bad.) 

3. Marxist Leninist which is just another form of Marxism. Now I’m not going to entirely state my opinion of that flavor of Marxism beside the fact they’re not the worst flavor I’ve seen. Because a lot of good groups have come like the black panther party (who is either considered Marxist or Marxist Leninist depending on who you ask)

4. people who just support everything the communist countries have done (I’ve not seen many people do this because a lot of people can accept fault and look for better ways to handle different issues) 

5. people who stayed in the communist party during the Hungarian revolution and supported the Soviet’s actions

Responding to your other ask boxes this kinda is just a group of queer leftist people so it kinda will be an echo chamber. There’s not a lot of new ideas and a majority of people here are anarchist (at least looking at one of the polls done in the community) I don’t think I’ve seen anyone create a new system (well one of my friends is trying to but they aren’t in this group. He also isn’t queer or use tumblr so yeah). I don’t think tankies should die or anything- I’m not that extreme now they could probably use some improve to their ideology but almost anyone can use improvement
