"I will fall in love with you over and over again, I don´t are how, where or when, you´re mine"
Thomas was sat alone on a beech
Newt and Thomas fell in love in a maze ,
but before that, they had already fallen in love in a classroom,
in a testing centre,
and through a screen, one of them watching the other,
They would’ve kept falling in love again, and again for years, but when one of them didn’t make it, then they’ll just have to wait for whatever is after to fall in love again.
#the maze runner#newtmas#tmr newt#tmr thomas#epic the musical#epic penelope#i will fall in love with you over and over again

And by the way, before someone starts screaming: There are exceptions. Glorifying toxic relationships or anything is potentially harmful (or glorifying fictional war-criminals for that matter). But, even then, content-warnings are a thing and they work. If one makes clear that their art should definitely not be applied to reality in a way everybody understands, then it is none of your buissness to hate.

Thought they were siblings for the first half of the story and it was amazing
Someone else said it before but Thomas and Teresa should’ve been siblings. Do you know how much cooler and how devastating their storyline would’ve been?
Their telepathy? (In the book) because they’re twins. Ever heard of Twin Telepathy?
Thomas knowing he has a strong connection to her and not being able to tell why he has this strong urge to protect her even though she can handle herself? He’s the older twin.
Teresa and Thomas both wanting the same goal but going about it in completely different ways and both are desperate for the other to see their side?
Fuck. It would’ve been so much better than “yeah they’re in love” like NO!!!! What about sibling love??? You’re all each other had your whole lives and one would do anything to get their sibling back 😭

Seriously, why do people have a problem with others having fun?
Get off your high horse. Art isn't made for you specifically and just because you happen to approach it in a certain way doesn't mean that is the one and only way one can enjoy it. It is art, for heaven's sake, there is per definition no "right way" to approach it. On the contrary, good art is popular BECAUSE it speaks to a large variety of people with different perspectives and different ways to approach it.
Again, who are you to determine yor approach is the one and only? Not even the creator has that right, because they don't publish art for you or me, or even for themselves, but for everyone. As soon as it is published - as soon as it is shown to another person even - it doesn't belong to the artist anymore.
Last, but most importantly, enjoying art is something beautiful. Finding one's own interests, views and struggles expressed in another's work is a wonderful thing for one's soul. Being creative with another person's art is amazing and adding one's own art, enriched by one's own perspective perspective, not only spreads the art you seem to enjoy, but honours it in a unique way noone could reproduce.
Saying, that shipping is gross isn't only about fandoms. It's telling people that what they enjoy is wrong. It's limiting them and purposefully taking away sonething that makes them happy and creative and opens the door to art for them. It is plain and simple gatekeeping.
Why on earth do you think you have the right to take something that gives people joy and a chanel to express themselves away from them? Who said you are in a position to block them from creating and honouring and enjoying art?
"Don't like, don't read" is a thing and filterbubbles exist. So do tags and ways to block certaint tags. Noone forces you to enjoy porn-fanfiction, but that doesn't mean it is fundamentally wrong.
Just because I happen to not like avocados doesn't mean everybody should stop growing and eating them, for heaven's sake!

True! It's how I met a person whom I concider one of my best friends today. And they introduced me to even more people who's presence in my life is an infinite source of happiness.
Nothing beats the feeling when you start getting comments on every fic in a fandom or ship from one person, and it’s clear that they’re going on a fic-binge.

Remember when in S6 the Ninja became famous and the media treated Nya with misogynie?
I headcanon, that whenever Nya got a sexist comment, one of the boys took it instead.
Comments on her clothes? Jay will make a scene, because "how dare you say something bad about my favourite sweater!"
Aggressive flirting or catcalling? Ninjago isn't prepeared for Cole's s3xual energy when flirting back creeps
Romantic relationships? Lloyd happily pretends to be dating Zane. He and Pixal spend nights making up the wildest stories
Asked about her hair and makeup? Kai has a fully prepeared 2 1/2 hour monologue on his hair-routine and fightproof makeup that he is ready to give anywhere anytime.

A witch puts a spell on a girl, a sleeping spell that promises the girl shall wake through true love’s kiss. Men come and kiss her. She slumbers. Women come and press their lips to hers, but still she sleeps. Many years past, and the girl remains still. One bright morning, a lost little boy finds her resting spot and clears the dust and grime from her face. He offers her a kiss on her forehead, and her eyes flutter open. She never feels romantic love for a man nor a woman, and she cares for the boy until the day she dies.
A young woman is imprisoned in a castle by a monstrously formed prince. The servants of the castle hope for them to fall in love, and when the spell is broken they assume their prayers have been answered. They are all surprised, but nonetheless pleased, when it is revealed to them that the young woman and prince are the truest of friends, and nothing more.
They say the kingdom is ruled by an evil queen, a woman who is incapable of loving. She is unmarried, she has no consorts, and she wishes for no partner. She is the wretched queen, the heartless queen. She must hate her daughter, for her daughter is beautiful, and women are incapable of liking another woman who’s prettier than themselves. It must be for this reason that the princess was sent away, not for how she was attacked by a man in the woods. They say the kingdom is ruled by an evil queen because she cannot love. The queen loves her daughter, and that is enough for them both.
There lives a prince who is forced to choose a bride at the ball. He meets many beautiful women, but find none which he loves. He spies one in a gorgeous gown and wonder in her eyes, and he dances with her all night long. The kingdom is sure he has found his bride. When the clock strikes midnight he tells her how he will never love a woman, or a man, in the way he is expected to. The beautiful woman smiles and tells him she expects nothing from him. The next morning the prince and the beautiful woman are missing, having run off together to see the world. They leave their shoes behind in their haste.
Many kinds of love exist. It doesn’t all have to be romantic.
