Basics

as a artist i often find myself in need of reference and find it annoying having to scroll through google looking for the right angle. As such i decided to create a file of reference material for my own sake and tumblr was as good as place as any to place it.

Free to use. All the photos i have personally taken, any visitor is free to use as they wish in as much right i have to give. they’ll all be labeled under “can use” if your searching For example i have taken a photo of ‘Lego Thor’ which i found at a shop i was visiting but while i don't mind you suing the photo i have no right to Thor as a character or lego Thor built from the artist and copy right is complicated matter that changes from country to country.

ScreenShots; as part of my reference material you’ll also find screenshots from movies or tv series that i have token as i think it might be of interest for future use. i hold no right to the material to the screenshots and only hold them in collection as rough reference points. they’ll all be labeled under “No right”

Quality; is not something i can guarantee as i take these when i find something of interest near and am sometimes in quite a rush. Though if i happen upon it in the future and take better quality phitos of it i will update the old ones.

everything will be tagged for easy search sometimes as specific as ‘1960’s compass’ as well as more vague tags for the vibes of such a piece such as ‘adventure’ or; A rusted car over grown with plants will be under ‘apocalypse’ as well as ‘car’ ‘rusted’ ‘overgrown’

if you see a picture and have suggestions for tags to help better with future searches feel free to comment, message or even just repost with those tags and i will update if i agree.

this is first and foremost for my own use but i hope you can also find it helpful resource on your art journey.
