‘Hunger Games’ Author Suzanne Collins Says Goodbye To Katniss And Panem!

“Having spent the last decade in Panem, it’s time to move on to other lands.”

We are just a little bit more than 24 hours away from the final installment in The Hunger Games franchise, Mockingjay Part 2, hitting US theaters. Following the Los Angeles premiere the woman who created it all, meaning the novelist behind Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay, took to the film series official Facebook page to share a message to fans. In the long and heartfelt letter, Collins thanks the film crew and actors for all four films. Collins also finished the letter by thanking all the readers and viewers who “accompanied Katniss on her journey.” Of course, Collins concluded the letter with probably one of the novels and films most popular lines: “May the odds be ever in your favor.”

In preparation for the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (I AM NOT READY) this week, myself and fellow AGtM Associate Editor – Monica Piluso – traveled this past weekend to the far off place, Discovery Time Square in New York City, to experience the magic that is The Hunger Games the Exhibition. In a matter of seconds, Monica and I, left the world of Time Square behind and traveled to Panem!

Chloë Grace Moretz to Take on The Little Mermaid!

From Hit-Girl to under the sea, Working Title and Universal announced on Friday that Chloë Grace Moretz will be rocking a fin in their live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid!

It has been almost two-years since it was announced that a live-action adaption of the classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy-tale (NOT the Disney version), The Little Mermaid, was in the works. At that time Sofia Coppola was slated to direct and Caroline Thompson was going to pen the screenplay. Coppola left the project earlier this year sighting “creative differences.” Thompson also is no longer attached to the film.

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies Has Better Squad Goals Than Taylor Swift

I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting to like the trailer as much as I did. I think the whole idea of the father being proud he raised his daughters to fight zombies instead of knowing the kitchen got me. Plus it looks like the movie is just going to be about kick-ass women. And who doesn’t love a movie about that? Also, I think we can all agree that this is the squad to be in. Not the weird cult thing that Taylor Swift seems to have going on…

Characters From Seasons Past AND Fire Fight Coming To ‘Game Of Thrones’ S6?

Because I have to…spoilers lay ahead geeks, you HAVE BEEN WARNED!

It seems like it has been a hot second since we shared some Game of Thrones Season 6 news. But ravens around the world have been watching the sets and locations for the most TOP SECRET season of the HBO hit fantasy series and we got some new details.

You may recall that at the end of season 5, the Mother of Dragons found herself in a wee bit of a pickle. After fleeing Meereen on the back of her dragon Drogon, Daenerys is surrounded by a very large group of Dothraki riders. At the moment, her only escape plan was dropping her ring in the field in what we could only assume is hope that someone will find the ring and search for her. The season 5 Dany storyline matches up with A Dance With Dragons and since there is no sixth book yet there is a whole lot of assuming going on....

Doctor Who: “The Girl Who Died” Recap

I’m getting really disappointed in Doctor Who for creating terrifying looking creatures and then barely showcasing them. The creatures in last night’s episode were seriously some horrific creatures and they only appeared unmasked on screen for a minute. Also, is it horrible if I found the first five minutes of the show way more fascinating than the episode itself? But enough of my complaining, let’s go to the recap.
