What is about you that I crave? Is it your smell, the way I perceive you, the idea of you that I have in my head, the way you portray yourself? I have no clue. Being around you puts me in a drunken state of submissiveness guided and influenced by your word, desperately awaiting the next demand. I used to dream of a universe I could dedicate my entire existence to you. But now, I want to conquer you. I want to ravage your existence - make it intertwined with mine. Why are we destined to be forbidden lovers? The pull you have one me is that off the opposite sides of a magnet, yet the physical manifestation is that of similar poles. I could go on and on about how attracted I am to you. How I’m subconsciously and preciously awaiting your touch.
How did this form? And why is it you? Why is it only you? Why am I not rewarded with the same sentiment for others? I want to consume your entire being and be consumed by you. I want to conquer you and dominate you. I want you at your knees as I’ve been all this time. I want to see your effect on me, on you and multiplied. I want to be the woman you would die for. I want to be the one that got away. The one you think of and place over your partners. Irresistible. That is, watching you struggle to contain your feelings, your lust, your desire towards me. I love knowing I’m the one thing you can’t have. Is it the same for you? Do you shy away from the idea of me because you can’t stomach my charms? Why do you deny yourself the delight it is of knowing me? Do you not want me?

it’s coming up on my one year car accident and i can say since this time last year my life has completely done a 180. i think back to where i was a year ago, unhappy and unfulfilled, always chasing temporary happiness and only getting emotional highs from being around my friends rather than being able to depend on myself.
this taught me that life is temporary, so i might as well use the time to my benefit right?
here’s some things i’ll be taking into 2025 with me:
1. saying no! you re allowed to say no. you’re allowed to not want to do things, not want to hang out with people, and not want to do anything you don’t want to do. you don’t have to be on every scene and you definitely don’t need to be in everybody face.
2. spending time with people who care about you as much as you care about them. most of my current relationships are so easygoing and i’m able to be myself around them without having to hide anything. not saying that all of your relationships should be extremely passive, but you shouldn’t have to hide yourself to be acceptable AT ALL. now that i’m in a place surrounded by people who reciprocate my love for them, especially platonically, toning myself down for other people just doesn’t seem right. or fair at all.
3. making time for yourself. but i mean real time, i used this year to take on more adventures by myself and it’s been amazing. i’ve been able to connect with so many more people and create some new opportunities for myself, just by doing the things that make me happy. you want ice cream but your friends can’t come with you? go BY YOURSELF. stop being scared of being by yourself.
i’m tired of this self reflection period lolll. ill be back later :))
