It had been a routine scouting mission, or so you thought. However, the atmosphere suddenly shifted, and an eerie silence settled over the area.

You exchanged a glance with Levi, your heart pounding in your chest. Something was wrong.

Without warning, a group of Titans burst through the trees, towering over you with grotesque smiles. Panic surged through your veins as you reached for your blades, ready to face the imminent threat. Levi stood beside you, his signature determination etched across his face.

As the battle unfolded, you fought side by side, using your skills and training to dispatch the relentless Titans. But one misstep was all it took for disaster to strike. In a split second, a particularly agile Titan lunged towards you, its jaws clamping down on your arm.

Pain erupted through your body, and you cried out as your vision blurred. Levi's voice echoed in the distance, drowned out by the overwhelming sensation of agony. The Titan released its grip, leaving you crumpled on the ground, clutching your maimed limb.

"Y/N!" Levi's voice finally pierced through the haze, his voice filled with raw panic. He rushed to your side, his eyes widening in horror as he took in the extent of your injury. "No, no, no! This can't be happening."

You struggled to stay conscious, your breaths shallow and labored. The pain was unbearable, but through the haze, you could see Levi's face contorted with anguish. He desperately tore a strip of cloth from his uniform and swiftly fashioned a makeshift tourniquet, attempting to stem the bleeding.

His hands trembled as he worked, his voice choked with emotion. "Hang on, Y/N. I'm going to get you out of here. I won't let you die."

With sheer determination, Levi hoisted you over his shoulder, your uninjured arm draped limply at your side. He sprinted through the forest, his every step filled with urgency. Levi's heart pounded in his chest, his mind racing with thoughts of how he failed to protect you.

After what felt like an eternity, Levi emerged from the treeline, carrying you into the safety of the outpost. Medics rushed to your aid, their eyes wide with shock as they assessed your condition. Levi stood by, his gaze never leaving you, his emotions concealed behind a mask of steel.

Hours turned into days as you drifted in and out of consciousness. The pain was a constant reminder of the battle you had fought. During those moments of clarity, Levi was always there, a silent guardian at your side. He rarely left your room, attending to your needs and providing a comforting presence.

One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the room, you awoke to find Levi sitting by your bedside. His eyes were filled with an intensity you had never seen before, and his hand reached out to gently brush against your uninjured cheek.

"I thought I lost you," he whispered, his voice raw with emotion. "Seeing you in that state, it tore me apart. I can't bear the thought of losing you, Y/N."

His confession hung in the air, and you could see the vulnerability etched across his face. Despite the pain, your heart swelled with affection for him. You reached out with your remaining arm, cupping his cheek in return.

"Levi, you saved me," you said. Levi shakes his head as he leans in forward, making your heart skips as his forehead rest against yours.

"I didn't, I almost..." He lets out a shaky breath as his nose grazes yours. "Y/N." Your name on his lips breaks something in you and lean in to press the softest kiss you can muster on his making your Captain shudder.

"I know I'm on pain meds, but I'm reading this all correct, right?" You ask, eyes fluttering to the man who holds your heart. Levi swallows as emotion he's hidden forever has broken through.

"Y/N." Is all he whispers before he leans in himself, his kiss much harder, more desperate making you softly squeak. Your one arm wraps around his neck and his arms circles your hips. The kiss only deepens and neither of you hear the door open then quickly close.
