Salutations kindred, and welcome back to Sims 4: Bloodlines!

Sims 4: Bloodlines is a fun little side project i started, where i want to recreate some of my favorite places from Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines in Sims 4 WITHOUT using any mods or cc!!

This time it´s an iconic one... THE ASYLUM!!

On a side note, im super sorry for not posting in a hot minute. I was unable to upload to sfs and support wasn't getting back to me, paired up with the most busy month i have had ever. i just didn't have time until now, hope you can forgive me<3

Okay I know I said I wouldn’t do Discourse (tm) but like hot take I kind of wish paradox/white wolf/ whatever at this point would realize that like. Yeah there was problematic stereotypes in earlier WoD books but the solution to that problem isn’t pretending they were never there

Like isn’t the whole point of WORLD of Darkness that strange supernatural things happen everywhere in the WORLD? Meaning in every single country weird stuff is happening, not just in like the USA and Canada + Europe?????? Like the problem was never that people who’ve never participated in certain cultures put them in the game, the problem was that they made these cultures into stereotypes instead of writing them well!!! Like it’s a well known thing now to have sensitivity readers when you publish something OR BETTER YET hire poc writers to write about this stuff!! Thats all tho okay hot take over

i love when people on here well be like “who DOESN’T want their blood to get sucked ? 🤨” well i hate to break it to you but the average person does not, in fact, want to have their blood get sucked. statistically there is a large amount of people who do not want this to occur. this is shocking and appalling, i know. the world is full of unsettling things

my vtm toxic trait is i haaate the concept of "pretty" nosferatu. the second their hideousness is downgraded to "they smell a little bad and take a social penalty for it", "so beautiful it's uncanny", "their face looks normal but it's completely still, so it's toootally unnerving".... i know requiem and V5 lean into this concept but what can i say? i'm a child of revised. why play a monstrous masquerade-breaking sewer gremlin who has to hide if you don't want to play a monstrous masquerade-breaking sewer gremlin who has to hide. 😐

Still not over VTMB being an incredible game packed with atmosphere, cool characters and fun vampire mechanics. Until you reach the late-game Racism Zone, the area where the game gets absurdly and inescapably racist as fuck
