I really like this take! The purpose of an assassin is to take out a high-status target in order to send a message or shift the balance of power between two opposing forces.
"Man vs. nature" is a pretty common theme throughout the series, but I think Wilds is the first time man was the source of the ecological disruptions that cause the main conflict of the story. In that sense, Xu Wu could almost be seen as an assassin "hired" by nature itself to take away man's power over it and remind us who's really in charge.
I've also thought about how Xu Wu could be a reference to how nature adapts to the changes humans cause in the real world, like how some bacteria are able to digest plastic.

Been slowly but surely making my way through Wilds and I think I really like Xu Wu.

Before there was time, before there was anything, there was nothing.
And before there was nothing, there were monsters.
But before there were monsters, there were two siblings with an unbreakable bond.
Chaos and order, GOLB and GORD.
Though they may appear as separate beings with opposing ideals, they are but two components of a single mind.
Conscious and subconscious, neither can function without the other.

So Flapjack is canonically part of the Adventure Time multiverse, and that has some equally terrifying and hilarious implications.

So, I've been doing some research on c-ptsd and the cycle of abuse and have a little story to tell about how Loboto may have lost his moral compass. Stay tuned!

I do wish there was more interaction between Raz and Loboto after the first level. Even just a quick little scene, like maybe Sasha has to leave the lab for a few minutes and asks Raz to keep an eye on Loboto while he's gone, and the two get talking about what happened at the Rhombus.

I imagine Ghora Ishvaldas roar/scream would sound like throat singing? Idk why, just has the vibes
What if I told you that not only are you completely correct but I actually have specific sound clips in mind?

And sometimes, very rarely, researchers have reported it making vocalizations that sound eerily like human speech. Though absent of any linguistic structure, these "chants" have earned it the title "Bone Chanting Dragon."

"Ghora Ishvalda (Bone Chanting Dragon) is a subspecies of Shara Ishvalda that is adapted for the Rotten Vale's unique ecosystem. Although the single specimen that has been recorded will occasionally travel great distances throughout the biome, it seems to prefer staying in the mountainous region that borders the Great Ravine, which is only just starting to be explored by the Research Commission. This also happens to be the location of a particularly large vein of the Everstream.
Though it is difficult to draw comparisons between Ghora and Shara as so little is known about either of them, Ghora does seem to spend considerably more time above ground and get a greater portion of its nutrients by consuming carrion, plants, and fungi than by direct absorption of bioenergy.
Additionally, while Shara has been known to sit in an upright position for brief periods, Ghora has been observed standing, walking, and even galloping on its hind legs while using its wingarms to support its body like a pair of crutches.
The exact reason for this behavior is unknown. Some propose it may be a way to intimidate other monsters, to reduce effluvium inhalation which is densest near the ground, or as seen here, to reach food in high places. Whatever the answer may be, the increased stressed placed on the wing-fingers may explain the knobby, burl-like joints."
