Really feeling Izzzyzzz's video about there no longer being online spaces for children after trying to revisit a website I used to really like as a kid, only to see it's completely changed and the archived version I remember doesn't work properly.

I heaved a sigh of relief when I found my laptop from highschool, meaning I could recover my save data and play chapters 3–4 without having to replay 1–2 or have the data empty, only to now be replaying the first two boards multiple times because of me missing shit and user error.

Finally finished up my designs for the rest of the horses! Head canons under the cut.

Bullet'n Board is the eldest and most veteran racehorse. Unlike the others, who race for fun or glory, Bullet'n purely sees racing as his career; it's just business. Jovial looks up to him.

Door Knob is a mule with a farm background. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, you should probably listen.

Downtown Skybox is a Shire Horse, making him the biggest, tallest, strongest, and most muscular racer. While his size is intimidating, he's a gentle giant who's not all that bright.

Green is an Okapi. His motives and overall role in the races is still unknown.

There was initial uproar among race viewers when two pegasi and an unicorn were added to the line up, common belief being that wings and magic would give these racers an unfair advantage. Jovial's repeated victories combined with Comely and Superstitional's repeated defeats quickly assuaged these fears.

Resolute received a wing injury during his racing career that's left him unable to fly for extended periods of time. This injury is a sore spot for him, manifesting in an intense desperation to win and prove to others (and himself) that he's "still got it" despite the injury. Repeatedly losing to Jovial, a normal horse, is doing the opposite for his psyche.
