[It’s been almost a year since Carrie Fisher left this galaxy a slightly emptier place.]

I’ve been wanting to do this for a couple of months, even started collecting reference material then, but then decided to wait until after The Last Jedi came out. (That, and a mountain of end-of-year commitments kept me busy right until the last couple of days). Thanks to @pilferingapples​ for living up to her promise of poking me till something flowed out of my pen, and furthermore, for helping me pick what picture to do first haha. (A painty thing vs a graphic-y framed one, because that’s how awesome I am at describing things…). 50% zoom thumbnails are there because all the interesting brush details got lost when I resized the damn picture, and I’m ever so slightly annoyed. On the off-chance that anyone wants a print of this, it should be available in my Society6 store within the next couple of hours.
