lil blog + major life update

I already mentioned some of this on my BGC sideblog, but I figured that I'd go more in depth here on my main account.

I apologize for the very sudden disappearance two years ago. To be truthful, my life changed unexpectedly: my boyfriend of 4 years broke up with me out of nowhere. This was the person I thought I would spend forever with. He was also the person that was the most heavily involved with my sims passion. He knew every storyline, every character, and he even contributed to The Montolvo's by making a sim. When the breakup happened, it was honestly too much of a reminder for me to even look at my sims.

Now thankfully, I'm in an incredibly better state than I was then, but it's been so long I honestly feel like I need to re-learn everything. I have a PC now, and I have to somehow either figure out how to transfer all of The Montolvo's AND BGC over from my laptop without anything corrupting. I also need to catch up with the game's updates and all of the effects it had on the mods I've used.

I'm sure I'm going to need to redo mods entirely, which will definitely affect everything given BGC is stuck in the loading screen whenever I even try to open the household. Not to mention relearning photoshop and reshade.

I already know for a fact that I want to return to BGC. The Montolvo's on the other hand... I feel that if I were to ever come back to them, the story will be rebooted entirely. I don't know in what way, but I may have some plans already in the works.

the manananggal: a vampire-like mythical creature native to the philippines. the manananggal is described as scary, often hideous, usually depicted as female, and always capable of severing its upper torso and sprouting huge bat-like wings to fly into the night in search of its victims.

VINCENT DARK | SON OF THE WITCH 

Vincent Dark is the only son of the most famous televised witch in history: Divina, Mistress of the Dark. Vincent grew up in the show business thanks to his mother, but despite this, he has no interest in following her footsteps in starring in entertainment. Thankfully, his eccentric mother is fully supportive of whatever path he decides to take. 

Although Vincent doesn’t want to be in the spotlight like his mother, he wants to be just as great of a witch as she is, which is why he’s seeking out the knowledge to grow stronger and learn as much as he can.

LUCIANA LAGOON | DAUGHTER OF THE GILL MAN

Luciana is one of the many children of Rico Lagoon, most infamously known as the Gill Man or the creature from the black lagoon. Luciana has always been an energetic and fun-loving girl ever since she first learned how to swim. She loves any kind of physical activity to get her energy out, so when she found dancing, she knew it would be a perfect fit. 

Luciana wants to be the life of the party. She just refuses to sit still even for a second.

HATTIE WHITE NILE | DAUGHTER OF THE MUMMY

Hattie is the youngest daughter of Imhotep, an infamous counselor to the pharaohs more commonly referred to as the Mummy in current day. Hattie and her family members lived in luxury as humans, but unfortunately met early deaths and wouldn’t walk the earth again until they were revived as mummies nearly 2,000 years later. Hattie wishes to continue her life of luxury among the monster elite and regularly documents her life through social media for her adoring fans. 

Hattie wants what she wants, and she’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she gets it.
