Alchemy Stars naming symbolism has gotten me in a chokehold because of the recent event so now yall are stuck with it.
Spoilers under the cut
So obviously Pollux and Castor's names are based on the story of the Gemini constellation. However, they don't hold the title of "the Gemini twins"; Instead it belongs to Pollux and her old friend Antares.
Pollux and Antares were trained to become assassins, and unlike her namesake, Pollux wasn't the one with excellent fighting skills, it was Antares. However, Antares lets herself be killed by Pollux, falling in battle like Castor in the myth. And while Pollux doesn't plead to a god to bring Antares back, she does end up surviving and returns to see Pollux once more, before ultimately dying once again.
While I would say the reason they didn't just go with naming Antares Castor is that it would be too obvious, the name Antares actually reflects her role in the story.
Antares is the name of a star apart from the constellation Scorpius. The story goes Orion wished to kill every animal on Earth, so the gods called upon a giant Scorpion to kill Orion. Now consider how Antares was called upon by her superior, Gustav, to kill Pollux.
Okay, a little bit of a stretch, but you get my point.
The name Antares also means "the heart of the scorpion." Besides the constellation, scorpions symbolize many things, such as:
Patience (Antares waiting to kill Gustav and reunite with Pollux)
Solitude (Antares being separated from Pollux)
Death/Danger (Her becoming the Grim Reaper)
Rebirth (the last stage's name and the change in Euphoria after her and Gustav's death)
Antares's character is basically the embodiment of scorpion symbolism, which fits perfectly with her name.
IN CONCLUSION: I'm probably looking a bit too deep into the names but this has been strangling me since I found this out so enjoy (ˇ‿ˇ)

I genuinely wonder why TGC changed the twins' cutscene from "two professional athletes that use the light to do a really cool show and move a platform" to "two silly idiots that fight like teens and then end up losing the light entirely"
I mean don't get me wrong!!!! I absolutely love both! I love that both these cutscenes exist and we get to see two different sides of the twins!
But I wonder why the silly one is in the game now.
(In case anyone is wondering what the old one looks like, here is a link to a Youtube video)

Don't worry, Warden Ingo is experienced in dealing with children who's scared of his frown before (kind of)
Man just want to go home got isekai'd yet again. More on Home Space
In all honesty I don't think he'd be able to understand Sky Kid immediately unlike Little Prince because Little Prince was a kid unlike him
