Character design sketches I did in felt pen and water based markers. Tried using a limited color palette for each design. I still can't quite get the hang of sketching without pencil though. After all there is no greater challenge in life then learning to live with your mistakes :,)

Whenever I feel creatively dry or just generally down I sketch cute animals. Can't quite explain, it's just one of those things that's guaranteed to put me in a good mood.

It's also really fun to do a loose pencil sketch and then ink it in pen perfection be damned

An assortment of small horror themed art I made in my sketchbook. Wanted to make a verity of scary beings to fill this page. Honestly this is likely the closest I’m gonna get to doing Inktober or any Drawtober challenge for now. I seriously lack the stamina for 30 days 😂

Every so often I tend to have an all encompassing brainrot about the DrakenNier games. So as any normal person I consume nothing but lore videos for a few days until another fixation arrives. This time however I found myself wanting to sketch while listening to lore about the character Louise form NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... (it is what it is friends). I put her theme on repeat and just allowed the feeling of it to take me wherever. So here were are with these character drawings of a sea monstress who likely has a very tragic story and acts out of pure sorrow. I used very simple tools for this, some felt pens and highlighters. It was really fun and freeing as stratifying as the fancy stuff like alcohol markers could be. Sometimes the cheap stuff is just as good 😁

Did a painting on a tiny canvas with my sister the other day using acrylic markers. We decided to paint tiny subjects so I went with a a Sanrio My Melody cream soda charm I got in a gachapon (She's cute but I really wanted Kuromi tho... Did I mention I got her in doubles?).

Honestly I'd highly recommend trying working on a tiny canvas it's very liberating, especially when working with acrylics

Did a little Arts and Crafts project recently. Painted a design with acrylic markers over a tin box of Hokkaido chocolates I got during my recent trip to Japan. I use it for the stamps I got there. Originally I had a different design idea in mind, was gonna go with more of a strawberry theme. But then I actually got to work and could only think "DAIFUKU". Trust the process as they say 😅
