sometimes being an out-loud buzzkill feminist gets you weird looks and eye-rolls but sometimes you get 30min of a friend engaging on a topic they've desperately wanted to talk with someone about but never had permission to do so, or women coming up to you one on one later to talk about that thing you said, or friends who come to you with stories they don't come to anyone else with. on some level all women are aching for their experiences to be recognized and contextualized

Sorry , I just have to share these images from Trans propaganda book entitled Let’s Talk About It. Bc I’m so disturbed.
Apparently this book is/was available to kids as young as five years old (K-12 libraries).
All research and credit to this Twitter thread: https://twitter.com/xxclusionary/status/1660035667387088898?s=20
The creator included references for proof that the book is available to an age group starting at age 5. So check that thread if you’re doubtful that children as young as 5 have access to this.
1. Male and female bizarrely rebranded as “testosterone rich” and “estrogen rich”. Girl-dick and adult nudity straight off the bat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Insinuates the default male and female relationship is a jock+ hyper-feminine damsel and that variance only exits via transition or w identities outside the m/f binary. Apparently impossible for a female gf to like sports and a male bf to not be hyper masculine.
Tumblr media
Every black female depicted as androgynous or trans masculine. 1% of the population who take artificial sex hormones represented on almost every single anatomy page.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Transwoman cited as having broad hips and depicted as the most femme kind of women throughout the book. More girl-dick and “testosterone rich” /“estrogen rich” speak.
Tumblr media
Graphic PIV sex depicted. Again, book available to 5 year olds.
Tumblr media
How to Use Butt Plugs Guide. Again. Target audience 5-18. Even for 16-18 year olds, is butt plug usage something you casually get into at that age? It’s a hardcore sex toy. Why was this included?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why does addressing the stigma against STDs have to mean presenting them as No Big Deal? Also dangerous if this book ends up outside of the US or Europe in developing countries where STI testing and treatment is still a struggle, health care systems are slow + underfunded and HIV/ AIDS is still a deadly illness.
Tumblr media
“The internet is a great place to research kinks!”
Directing people under the age of 18 to search porn for sex and “kink” info explicitly against the guidelines and laws of most countries is so delusional and irresponsible.
The conflation of sex education with How To Fuck manuals for kids is a disturbing development. More needs to be done to give young people helpful information about their bodies and sexuality without veering into casual exposure to adult sexuality. Also, content should be better streamlined towards distinct age groups, with young babies being protected from more mature themes. And trans people, particularly white transwomen, being hyper-represented when they make up a tiny portion of the population is a disturbing bias.

will i ever get used to the fact that a large and influential social movement is based around the concept of “i want to be a thing, and say i am that thing, so i am that thing” and people are just like sure yeah that makes total sense

Seriously though why is the prostitution debate always surrounded by women’s choices? What about men’s choice to dehumanize a woman by literally purchasing her body for his own pleasure? What about the ancient demand of ownership of our bodies? Why do those get taken out of the equation when liberal feminists talk about rape culture + patriarchy?

Protect gender dysphoric children and teens.
Medical gender transition for children is still considered experimental by the medical community [1][2][3][4][5][6][26].
There is no medical consensus on the best way to treat dysphoria, and the evidence for puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery being effective in minors is lacking[1][6][26].
Puberty plays a vital role in building brain structures, developing the cardiovascular system, organ growth, sexual maturation and function, and much more [24].
There has been no study into the neuro-cognitive effects of preventing puberty from taking place [2][7], with evidence suggesting it prevents brain development [26].
There is no evidence as yet that administering cross-sex hormones to a puberty-suppressed child will trigger the same development as a natural puberty [26].
The World Professional Association for Transgender Health acknowledges this in their Standards of Care [2] in 2012, on page 18:
“Although the very first results of this approach (as assessed for adolescents followed over 10 years) are promising, the long-term effects can only be determined when the earliest treated patients reach the appropriate age.”
The children under study, as of 2022, are just now reaching early to mid twenties.
In a recent study, puberty blockers did not significantly alter patient psychological function or tendency for self-harm over a course of 3 years [8]. Despite the children self-reporting a positive experience, other data collected from parent reports and psychological evaluation demonstrated mixed mental health. In particular, self-harm attempts remained elevated throughout.
That same study also reported reductions in bone strength and height.
Osteoporosis, skeletal abnormalities, and increased suicidal behavior are known side effects of puberty blockers on children treated with them in Sweden [27]. These symptoms, along with joint and teeth problems have also appeared in children who were given it for other reasons [9], such as early onset puberty [10].
