black widow was a v good movie, but it felt like a sequel to a story we were never given. we were introduced to characters we should have already known, and given allusions to moments we should have seen. we SHOULD have seen natasha as the prime of her “career” as a black widow working for the red room. we SHOULD have seen her struggle with the chains around her neck, but thinking there was no life for her and no way out, stayed. we SHOULD have seen her meet clint barton. we SHOULD have seen her escape from the red room and we SHOULD have seen her meet nick fury, who gave her a door to walk thru if she had the strength to open it.
