No longer our home pt 2
Part two of my previous post This part is from Alhaitham’s point of view
When Kaveh had told Alhaitham he would move out Alhaitham had a hard time understanding why. After all they had lived together for ages. They did fight a lot but Alhaitham still thought they had a great time living together. He really did think he might have a change with his roommate, but it seems like he was wrong. All he could say to Kaveh was “so?”, which he regretted a lot.
There no longer was petty fights over useless things like who has to clean the bathroom or which color the walls should be. There couldn’t be any fights anymore since Kaveh had left him. Alone. Alhaitham knew that during the time they lived together he hadn’t been the most pleasant roommate to live with but he didn’t think Kaveh would actually move out. He was angry at Kaveh for leaving him, but more than anything he was angry at himself.
A month had gone by and Alhaitham was still depressed about Kaveh moving out. He had loved Kaveh in a way you wouldn’t love a friend. He had thought his and Kaveh’s relationship was finally becoming what he had hoped it to become. That of course was before Kaveh had moved out. He knew he was cold to Kaveh sometimes and said many times he wanted him to move away, but he didn’t really mean it. He just didn’t know how to communicate with his roommate. Now he just wished Kaveh to contact him or give him a sign that all hope isn’t lost yet.
After two and a half months since Alhaitham’s roommate had left there had been no contact at all from him. So, Alhaitham had to face the harsh reality; Kaveh was not coming back. So all of Alhaitham’s energy went to his work. After few weeks he still hadn’t gotten over Kaveh so he decided to distract himself. Since Alhaitham had known for a long time before Kaveh had left, that his coworker had feeling for him, he thought that to be a good way to distract himself. And of course it somewhat worked. He got distracted but he would still think about Kaveh.
Now Alhaitham was going home from work together with his coworker and they were talking about this one time when the coworker had come to get some papers from Alhaitham, and Kaveh had just happened to be there drunk. Kaveh had fallen on top of Alhaitham and it had caused a huge misunderstanding, where the coworker thought he had interrupted something rather private. Alhaitham was laughing and smiling thinking about the situation and how flustered Kaveh had been. He was so cute.
When Alhaitham was almost home he was sure he had seen Kaveh for a moment, but it couldn’t be. Right? He was surely just mistaken. That was what he thought until he saw Kaveh’s earring on the ground. Alhaitham picked the earring up carefully and looked up. He was sure of it. He saw Kaveh running away from the scene. But why was he crying? Was he jealous?

No longer our home
Kaveh x Alhaitham
I might make Alhaitham’s pov and another part to continue this as well if people want it
what happens after Kaveh moves away from Alhaitham’s house to live on his own.
Kaveh had finally paid his debt which meant that the time to move away had came. Kaveh looked at the house one last time saying good bye to their home, no it wasn’t his home anymore. It was just Alhaitham’s home.
It has now been three months since Kaveh had moved away from his old home. At first Kaveh had been happy about finally getting rid of his annoying roommate. Of course this feeling didn’t last long. On the sixth day Kaveh had gone home from work as usual and as he had opened the door he yelled for Alhaitham to come eat the left overs he had taken with him. After realising that there was no longer any need to take left overs home with him to give to his roommate, who was always too busy with his work to eat. His bright smile had vanished from his lips as he felt stabbing like pain in his chest. After that day Kaveh had realised just how much he has missed his “annoying” roommate. These feelings had only been getting stronger and stronger, day by day.
Now he was standing across from Alhaitham’s home. This had became a routine in Kaveh’s daily life although he didn’t know why he always wandered to this place. As he was staring at the door remembering all the times he had came home drunk and having lost his keys. At these times Alhaitham had opened the door and carried him to his bed and scolded him the next day. Although Kaveh had always hated being scolded by his ex-roommate, he now had came to miss those moments almost as much as seeing Alhaitham’s face. It had been too long since Kaveh had seen his face and as he wished to see it again he heard Alhaitham’s voice from afar.
Kaveh immediately began smiling as he turned around only to see Alhaitham laughing with some handsome guy. Kaveh looked at the man and realised he had seen the same man with Alhaitham many times before. He didn’t understand. He was sure there had been something between Alhaitham and him, but now he was beginning to doubt it. Alhaitham looked way happier now in Kaveh’s eyes than he had ever looked with him. Tears came running down Kaveh’s face as he left the scene. He had realised that no matter how much he missed Alhaitham, the feeling wasn’t mutual. He had been stupid to fall for his roommate ex-roommate.
this might contain some mistakes in grammar since This isn’t my first language and this is my first ever fic. Also I got the indoor to write this by watching @eissocial TikTok video.
anyway thanks for reading this
