When I say “find enjoyment in the smallest things”, I mean point out a weirdly coloured rock, while you’re walking outside. Take a picture of that rock, confirm that you stopped to enjoy that. Pay attention to how remarkable the patterns on leaves can be, the fact that you��re staring up at the night sky. If you’re given a compliment, hold onto that, don’t just go about your day. Stop and genuinely take in, that you deserved that. Fucking take in, from a scientific point, how incredible life is.

There is nothing they cry about more, than you loving yourself and loving life. Finding enjoyment in the smallest of things, if that’s what it takes, and never losing sight of what the goal is: Living to spite them. Enjoying life, as who you want to be, the euphoria that comes with that, and rubbing it in their fucking faces. You can outlive them, you can out-voice them. I am a strong believer that, one day, this will “have always been wrong”. Keep fighting. Please.
