Your top picture on your tumblr - the young on a rope bridge about to collapse with her animal sidekick. Where's that from?
Hello 👋🏽 I'm glad you like that art banner! I believe it's a concept art for the Peruvian film in production called, "Kayara"!
I found the image maybe 2 years ago so I don't remember if it's official concept art or if it is fanart
I will try and find the original source later and update this post when I find it

Israel isn't just breaking international law. It's creating precedent and changing it to make this violence permissible. What happens to Palestinians matters for everyone, everywhere. It sets a precedent that means no where else in the globe is safe. What more do we need to act?

So apparently Swedish and Polish facial reconstructionists decided to try to recreate the famous Incan "Ice Maiden" mummy dubbed "Juanita".
Truthfully, I feel like these European reconstructionists ( do not know how to re-create Andean facial features and the results ended up... terribly uncanny. So down below, with the use of photoshop, I edited the bust with more Andean Indigenous Peruvian facial features to honor the "Ice Maiden".
My version:
I made her brows straighter and longer, got rid of the cleft chin, gave her a down-turned mouth, broader lips (not small), I made her lips a little larger too and I made her nose longer/bigger and wider around the nasal Ala. I also broadened her nostrils a tad
and I made her under-eyes more puffy
I widened her bone structure
I emphasized her sideburns
My version (on top):
original (white euros created) below:
I hope that in the future, more Andean/Indigenous Peruvian facial reconstructionists have opportunities to work on revealing the faces of their kin and ancestors. We needed more andean people involved in her reconstruction.
Let me know what you think of my edits down below too!
I hope you enjoy them!

Hi! So, I have a friend who is writing a book (fantasy), and one of her (white) characters is supposed to have a necklace with stones that are (magically) infused with lavender, white sage and other plants for protection. But she is afraid to do that because she knows that smudging white sage and other plants is considered scared by many Native American/ Indigenous people. Besides, she's Eastern European, and she truly doesn't want to insult anyone's culture. There will be no smudging white sage in the book, but she's still afraid that people would find it insulting.
I don't find this offensive at all! I personally don't see an issue with it if that helps, maybe it's because my nation (Andean Ayacucho Quechua) do not have smudging in our culture (Ayahuasca and psychedelics are used for religous reasons). I do know that Wiccas and Pagans of Europe use herbs and plants so I think that should be okay!
Do not be afraid to offend, I believe you have good intentions and therefore it will translate on your writings as an authentic piece of work 🙂

I love how traditional he is! If you want to make the design more “cyberpunk” i suggest you play more with chrome, metals, and shiny minerals.
for men, gold was a “masculine” color for it represented Inti, the sun.
For women, Silver was “feminine” as it represented killa/quilla, the moon.
And brass color metals was popular too.
You could use chunky metal cuffs that act as tech.
ear piercings that act as communication devices.
minerals that glow, metal sheets as light weight amor that when activated covers the entire body.
I suggest you also look at Andean street fasion, I know that the south of Peru has “modern” fashion you might be interested in seeing that uses bells, and sequins that are flashy and eye catching. Along with modern and silhouettes

these are two Bolivian Caporales dancers. Women have hair embellishments and destinct eye makeup.
I hope these help!
I NEED ADVISE!!!
I’m writing a comic set in post nuclear apocalyptic Peru. It’s been a long time since the war and one settlement was able to survive and rebuild and thrive.
I wanted to mix modern fashions and Ancient ones together, like society has ‘reset’ and taken inspiration from the Incan Empire but still has access to some modern technologies.
It’ll also mix in some cyberpunk elements as well.
This is the ‘ruler’ of the settlement and father of my main character Anyu.
I’m really struggling with his design. I wanted him to be more of the ancient traditional man but at the same time I feel like he doesn’t have enough modern elements to his design.
How can I add a few more modern/cyberpunk elements without changing him too much?
I also want to make sure his design never seems offensive as that’s hugely important to me.
If anyone could give me advice I’d be so grateful!!
