📚Lore 📚

After more than a decade of him and Shadow being together and occasionally babysitting their friends’ kids, Sonic realises he wants a kid too. Shadow takes some convincing, scared that he would be a terrible parent, but he warms up to the idea over time. Their only dilemma is how they’re gonna get a kid in the first place. So, Sonic comes up with the genius idea to ask a now retired Dr Robotnik to make them one as Gerald did with Shadow, using his research as a baseline. Shadow (for very obvious reasons) doesn’t trust Eggman, yet Sonic pathetically begs him and promises to never bother him again afterwards, with Eggman reluctantly complying so that he’d be left alone for good. After a few weeks of research and experimenting, he realises the potential he has to make the ultimate ultimate life form that can outmatch his enemies for good, so he cherrypicks their DNA to make the most powerful creature he can - with both Sonic’s speed and resilience, and Shadow’s strength and power. After finishing the project, he loudly laughs in their faces and takes the kid to raise it on his own with his other creations, prompting Sonic, Shadow and their friends to go on a wild goose chase after him like the old times, but now to try and get their kid back. After beating Eggman one last (?) time and successfully getting their brand-new kid back, Eggman accepts defeat and returns to his retirement (who knows, maybe not for long) and the two new parents finally get to raise their new kid, although not without challenges…

As cute as Stevie was on the outside, she was a little demon on the inside. Her dads couldn’t fathom how such a small creature could be so vicious, as she would bite, scream at and destroy everything in her path. Her chaos energy was much stronger than they had imagined, so they had Tails make her some inhibitors asap so that she wouldn’t hurt herself or others. She immediately calmed down afterwards, realising that her unmanaged chaos energy was the reason behind her aggression. They agreed to keep her under control until she grew older.

🛹 About Stevie 🛹

As she grew up, Stevie became a calm and patient person, but also gained a little rebelliousness in return. She’s the best and worst of both worlds: she’s kind, carefree, justice-oriented and incredibly determined like Sonic - but she can also be quite rude, blunt and immature like Shadow, mixed in with Sonic’s unserious and lazy attitude. Stevie is also prone to oversharing and having zero self-awareness or shame, being incredibly messy and chaotic - which Sonic finds funny but drives Shadow mad, as he likes to keep the place tidy. She loves her dads very much and likes to spend lots of time with them and their friends, but she sometimes depends on them too much and forgets to give them space, especially Shadow. This is still pretty strange to them, as they’re both used to being hyper-independent their whole lives.

So far, Stevie hasn’t found the need to use her chaos energy much, resulting in her being incredibly inexperienced and unsure how to utilise it. Sonic and Shadow have both explained to her what she could potentially do and that she should train her powers, but she never really bothered to try much. She hasn’t removed her inhibitors since she was a baby, so her parents are scared that if she ever does in this unmanaged state she would become uncontrollable and aggressive again, only at a much larger scale.
