We Live Inside a Dying Thing That Thinks It’s God, America: A Corpse Dressed in Patriotism
DISCLAIMER:
What follows is not a polite essay. It’s not wrapped in decorum, and it doesn’t hold your hand. It’s a brick through the window of American delusion—because sometimes, that’s the only way to get anyone to look up.
Yes, it’s angry. Yes, it’s vulgar in places. And yes, it cuts deep. That’s the point. Because what we’re living through isn’t some minor policy dispute or a polite disagreement about tax brackets. It’s a slow-motion national self-immolation, and I will not dress that up with euphemism and deference.
This is my home. This is our home. And I’m sick with fucking grief for what it’s becoming.
So no—I won’t be nice. I won’t write like I’m hoping for tenure. I won’t dilute righteous fury just to appease the fragile sensibilities of people more offended by four-letter words than by kids dying in classrooms, families starving without healthcare, or immigrants rotting in cages.
I rage because I give a fucking damn. Because this country is worth saving. Because we are still capable of greatness—not the jingoistic fantasy kind, but real, soul-deep greatness rooted in compassion, dignity, courage, and truth.
So if it sounds harsh, that’s because it is harsh. But don’t mistake my fury for nihilism. It’s the opposite. It’s the sound of someone who still believes we can be better—screaming into the smoke because the house is on fire and too many people are still asleep.
If you feel that too—then welcome.
Now let’s go:
Alright. Let’s fucking talk about this carcass we call America. Let’s drag it out into the cold night air, under the dim flicker of a failing streetlight, and take a good hard look at what we’ve become—because what’s rotting beneath our feet isn’t just a nation. It’s a broken promise, a dream gutted, bled out, and pawned off for scraps. And don’t come at me with your hollow patriotism or tired chants of “USA”—I’m done playing nice. This is the truth as seen by a man who once believed in it, who wanted to see the promise fulfilled, and who now watches it crumble like some cursed monument to our own hubris. You want the whole ugly picture? Fine. Pour yourself a drink and settle in. This isn’t going to be pretty.
Healthcare: The Extortion Racket Masquerading as Mercy
It should’ve been simple. The most basic thing any decent society does—keep its people alive. But no. Not us. Not this proud, bloated empire too obsessed with profit to give a single shit about human life. You look at Canada, the UK, France, Germany—places that had the fucking decency to figure this out decades ago. People there don’t live in fear of getting sick. They don’t lie awake at night wondering if a car accident or a cancer diagnosis will leave their children homeless. But here? Here, health is a commodity. You’re not a patient—you’re a fucking ATM.
We’ve let soulless corporations, insurance pimps, and pharmaceutical kingpins build a labyrinth designed to suck you dry while convincing you it’s freedom. We turned sickness into an opportunity—not for healing, but for extraction. And the tragedy? We let them convince us that to want better is to betray our nation. That wanting what every other modern country provides makes you some pinko commie. And so, we smile through gritted teeth as they rob us blind, calling it liberty while we mortgage our futures for another month of life. If that’s not the most poetic, most pitiful American irony—I don’t know what the fuck is.
K-12 Education: Feeding the Machine
You remember when school was supposed to open doors? When it was supposed to build citizens, thinkers, dreamers? That’s a wishful little memory now—faint, like smoke in the wind, the kind of thing you catch a whiff of and ache for, knowing it’s gone. Finland, Singapore, Germany—they invest in their kids like they’re the future, because they fucking are.
And here? We treat them like raw material for the grinder.
We gut our schools, starve them of resources, and then point fingers at the teachers struggling to hold it all together. And the fights we choose? Not over funding, not over making sure kids learn to think or reason or build—but over books with two dads, or whether a cartoon penguin is gay. As if that is what’s holding us back: It’s laughable—if it weren’t so fucking sad. Because every second we waste on these contrived culture wars is a second our kids fall further behind, their future sold for ratings and campaign donations. We’re raising generations who’ll be too busy untangling the lies they were taught to see the con that’s been run on them since birth.
Higher Education: A Gilded Scam
Once, our universities were temples of learning. Now? They’re monuments to grift. Public colleges starved, stripped, gutted until all that’s left is overpriced husks. The Ivies? Oh, don’t worry about them. The heirs to empires still stroll those manicured lawns—not to learn, but to secure their birthright, to make the connections that ensure the gears of the machine keep grinding down the rest of us. Education isn’t about knowledge anymore. It’s about access to the club.
And for those not born with a silver spoon jammed in their mouth? Welcome to debt peonage. Sign here. Borrow your future for the privilege of a piece of paper that means less every year. While the rich laugh over scotch in boardrooms, we’re out here juggling student loans like circus clowns, wondering where it all went to shit. The universities? They don’t care. They got paid.
Infrastructure: The Rot Beneath Our Feet
Every cracked sidewalk, every rusted bridge, every pothole swallowing your tires whole—that’s the American dream in physical form. Decay, neglect, abandoned potential. Go to Europe, go to Japan, go to China—ride their trains, walk their clean streets, marvel at their airports that look like portals to the future. And then come home. Step off the plane at O’Hare and tell me this is what a superpower looks like. We’ve let it all crumble while billionaires hoard more wealth than they can spend in a thousand lifetimes.
The rest of the world invests in the future. We slap duct tape on the past and call it good enough. But hey—at least we can die knowing we paid for another golden toilet seat for the Pentagon and White House.
Parental Leave: Family Values, My Ass
Sixteen months in Sweden. A year in Germany. Even Bulgaria gets it. But here? Here, in the land of family values, you’re lucky if you get a couple of weeks before you’re shoved back onto the assembly line. Because let’s be honest—your worth to this country ends where your productivity ends. The second you stop making money for someone else, you’re disposable. We talk about families like they’re sacred. But our policies? They betray that lie every single fucking day.
Gun Violence: The Blood-Soaked Freedom
No nation on Earth tolerates what we tolerate. No other place lets kids get butchered in their classrooms over and over and over again and calls it the cost of freedom. Australia fixed it. New Zealand fixed it. But us? We’re too busy polishing our AR-15s and muttering about tyranny while the body count rises. We don’t love freedom. We love the idea of freedom, wrapped in steel and blood and empty promises. And the kids? Collateral damage in a war we refuse to end.
Climate Change: Burn It All
Europe builds solar grids. Asia pushes renewables. Tiny Costa Rica, tiny Iceland, tiny Denmark—they act like the future matters. And us? We subsidize oil and coal while we argue if a snowstorm disproves science. The seas rise, the forests burn, the storms rage—and we can’t even be bothered to care. Because the check cleared. Because Exxon’s happy. Because we’ve convinced ourselves there’s no alternative but to go down with the ship, pockets stuffed with oil money, gasping for air.
The Big Picture: A Nation of Suckers
And here’s the bitter fucking truth: none of this is inevitable. None of it. The solutions exist. The examples are everywhere. But we don’t change—not because we can’t, but because we’re too bought, too distracted, too scared. Because it’s easier to blame the neighbor, the immigrant, the teacher, the trans kid, the librarian—anyone but the ones actually fucking robbing us blind. We fight over scraps while they feast. We bicker over bathrooms while the house burns down.
And through it all, we tell ourselves we’re exceptional. That this is freedom. That this is the price of greatness. But all it is—all it’s ever been—is the slow, sad collapse of a nation that mistook greed for virtue, cruelty for strength, and selfishness for liberty.
So go ahead. Wave your flag. Chant your slogans. Pretend this is what winning looks like. Because the fall is here. And when it comes? It won’t be some noble, tragic end. It’ll be the punchline to a joke we wrote ourselves. And the world will watch, shake its head, and move on without us.
The part the bastards never count on: We’re not fucking dead yet.
They think we’ll choke on the ashes. They think we’ll lie down and take it—numb, obedient, too broke and broken to fight back. They bet everything on our exhaustion. But you can only beat a people down for so long before the rage stops boiling and starts burning. And make no mistake—we are burning now.
We are the ones who still feel. Who still see. Who still drag ourselves out of bed every morning with clenched teeth and fire in our guts because we know it’s not supposed to be like this. We are the ones screaming into the void not because we love to scream—but because someone fucking has to.
And you’re not alone.
I’m not alone.
Underneath the bullshit, the noise, the lies, a storm is coming. You can smell it. You can feel it humming in your bones. All across this collapsing flea circus of a country, people are waking up pissed. Tired of being bled dry. Tired of watching the same monsters win. Tired of being told to shut up and eat shit while billionaires light cigars with our futures.
And when the empire finally keels over—bloated, blind, and too fucking stupid to know it’s already dead—we’ll be the ones still standing. Not waiting for saviors. Not asking for permission. Building something better out of the rubble with our bare fucking hands.
Because here’s the truth they hope we never realize:
It doesn’t have to end like this. We don’t have to go down with the ship. We can mutiny. So yeah, raise your voice until it breaks. Fight like you’ve got nothing left to lose—because guess what? Most of us already fucking don’t.
Turn your grief into fury. Turn your fury into action. Turn your action into something that outlives the rot. Be the wrench in the gears. Be the boot through the door. Be the nightmare that haunts these assholes who thought they could get away with this forever.
Hope isn’t gone.
Hope is pissed. Hope is armed. Hope is done waiting.
This isn’t over.
It’s just getting fucking started.

A growing number of former Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are coming forward, exposing the disturbing work conditions and internal pressure that led to their resignations. According to The Atlantic, these agents say President Donald Trump’s mass deportation policy—pushed by his “One Big Beautiful Bill”—has turned their jobs into a quota-chasing nightmare.
One former ICE officer, who asked to remain anonymous, said that what started as a patriotic duty has now turned into a job they no longer recognize. “Even those that are gung ho about the mission aren’t happy with how they are asking to execute it – the quotas and the shift to the low-hanging fruit to make the number,” they explained.
“I’m Tired of Arresting Gardeners” — Former Agent Slams Policy Shift
Another ex-agent became even more blunt, revealing that the emotional toll of the job had become too heavy, saying they would rather quit than “arrest gardeners.” Under direction from former Trump advisor Stephen Miller, ICE agents have been expected to make 3,000 arrests per day. And the kicker? Many of those arrested have no criminal records at all. In fact, according to The Atlantic, arrests of non-criminal migrants reportedly spiked 807% since Trump took office.
For some former agents, the turning point came when they realized the job was no longer about national security or justice—it was about feeding the numbers. They also report long hours, relentless overtime, and a disturbing lack of focus on mental health.

Good morning! America, where the crops are flooding, the farmers are being raided, Japan is furious, FEMA is missing in action, and Trump is posting AI selfies of himself as Superman while the markets tank and the Epstein list magically disappears.
Let’s start with Texas, where record floods have killed over 120 people, 150 remain missing, and entire communities have been washed off the map. Governor Greg Abbott, when asked about responsibility, responded with a Friday Night Lights football analogy so bad it should be flagged for unnecessary roughness. According to Abbott, “winners don’t point fingers,” which is a cute way of dodging the fact that decades of deregulation, climate denial, and gutting FEMA and the National Weather Service have left Texans to drown while the governor yells about football metaphors on TV.
The Trump regime’s war on the federal workforce rages on. Project 2025, which Trump claims he has “nothing to do with” while hiring its architects to run his budget office, is rolling out its dream scenario: gutting the government of everyone who might stand in the way of a king’s whims. Career civil servants? Fired. Environmental inspectors? Fired. FEMA and National Weather Service staff? Fired or gutted, right before hurricane season. Why? So the government doesn’t work, and they can scream “government doesn’t work” while they loot what’s left. The Project 2025 plan is to “put them in trauma,” which is exactly what Russell Vought, a Heritage Foundation loyalist now running the show inside OMB, said out loud. We are in a government run by people who see their own employees as the enemy.
ICE raids have swept across California, terrorizing farmworkers who pick the strawberries Trump’s voters eat while claiming “no one wants to work anymore.” You know, the same farmworkers who kept us fed during COVID while dying in record numbers, working grueling days for garbage wages. But sure, send them back and let your lettuce rot in the fields while you post memes about “hard work.”
Speaking of memes, the White House’s official Instagram account posted an AI-generated image of Trump as Superman with the tagline “Truth, Justice, The American Way,” which is precisely the kind of thing we were taught was propaganda in middle school. Commenters (even Trump’s own voters) dragged it, asking, “Cool poster, but where’s the Epstein list?”, a fair question, since the Epstein files remain conveniently incomplete, Trump’s own connections to Epstein unmentioned, and the FBI has now shut down its royal Epstein investigation entirely. Prince Andrew gets to travel again, while victims are left with nothing, and the man who was found liable for sexual assault by a jury and upheld on appeal gets to cosplay Superman while the country burns.
Trump, in the meantime, is torching our international relationships one letter at a time. Japan received a Trump letter so disrespectful it sparked outright fury across their government, with Itsunori Onadera, the ruling party’s policy chief, calling Trump a “terrible human being” and denouncing the letter as “extremely disrespectful” while expressing a “strong sense of indignation.” Prime Minister Ishiba declared, “Efforts toward more independence from US reliance should be made,” and added, “We will not be taken advantage of, even if it is an ally. We must speak honestly. We must protect what needs to be protected.” Japan’s former Prime Minister Kashida warned, “We cannot allow a country that seeks to impose its will through force to shape the international order,” making clear that Japan is now openly rethinking its special relationship with the US as a relationship with a bully rather than a partner. Editorials in Japanese newspapers demanded that Ashiba “exhibit strong leadership” and “teach Trump that intimidation will never work,” while Japan’s top political science professor, Toshi Mitsu Shigamora, bluntly told his country, “It is clear that we are enemies with the United States right now.” Japan, our largest foreign investor and a key partner in the Pacific, is done playing golf with this administration’s delusions. Meanwhile, China and Russia are seizing the moment to court Tokyo and Seoul while Trump’s tantrums isolate America further. Canada, too, is getting the “hostage letter” treatment, with Trump threatening 35% tariffs until Canada “stops sending fentanyl” (which it isn’t) while calling them the 51st state he’d like to annex. This is not foreign policy. This is a fifth-grader’s idea of a mob shakedown, minus the spelling skills, with the entire world watching America slip further into clownish irrelevance while the Pacific builds new alliances without us.
And in the middle of all this, we received a fake Tim Pool invitation asking us to join his podcast. We laughed, of course, and deleted it. Tim Pool’s credibility is somewhere between “flat earth Facebook group” and “YouTube astrology reading.” But it’s a perfect metaphor for the chaos of the moment: grifters begging for legitimacy while the empire crumbles.
Markets are jittery. The NASDAQ fell 15 minutes before Trump’s Canada tariff announcement, which smells like insider trading but will be ignored because this is America. Prices are rising while Trump brags about “America winning,” and you can’t afford eggs, but he’s got an AI Superman filter to show you.
It is Project 2025’s dream world in real-time: break the system, fire the people who know how to run it, replace them with loyalist toddlers who will sign loyalty oaths about “how handsome Trump is” while the rivers rise and our allies bail. And when you complain? You’re the problem. Just ask Abbott, who thinks your family drowning is like missing a touchdown.
But here’s the thing: The government is still full of people trying to keep it working for you. The AFGE, the largest federal employee union, just won a major victory in court pushing back against Trump’s attempts to strip collective bargaining rights from federal workers, even as the regime tries to retaliate. These are the workers who get your Social Security checks out, who keep our food safe, who answer VA crisis lines, who run FEMA when the floods come. Trump’s people want them gone because they stand between him and unchecked power.
That’s where we are today. If you’re feeling exhausted, that’s by design. If you’re feeling furious, good. Stay mad, stay motivated, stay mighty. These are the days that shape the next decade.
And if you’re wondering where the Epstein list is? Keep asking. Loudly. Carpe Momentum!

Engineers race to find solution as nuclear leak threatens water supply for millions of Americans: 'This is just too important'

Bloomberg reported that Miami's drinking water is threatened by a leak in a Turkey Point, Florida, nuclear plant, and millions of residents may be affected. Engineers at the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority are fighting to contain it.
Protecting the water supply and local wildlife is vital to the area. Marine biologist and activist Rachel Silverstein is the CEO of Miami Waterkeeper, an environmental group that is placing pressure on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, state, and local officials to make Florida Power & Light clean up the leak and protect against larger consequences on the planet.
"This is just too important," Silverstein said, per Bloomberg. "We're not going to stop."
The Turkey Point plant, located about 25 miles south of Miami, provides power for air conditioners and appliances for 1 million homes and businesses, Bloomberg reported. Underground, a heavily salted plume of water containing trace amounts of radioactive isotopes is seeping into an aquifer. That aquifer is the primary source of drinking water for more than 3 million people.
In essence, the salty water is spreading into natural sources of fresh water, which can make the water unsuitable for drinking or irrigation. Engineers are racing to contain it.
The Bloomberg article explained that power companies and policymakers are trying to prioritize the balance between upgrading aging facilities such as the Turkey Point plant, building new plants to expand nuclear power, and protecting the environment.
Watch now: Does clean energy really cause blackouts?
Nuclear energy is considered by scientists and engineers to be much more environmentally friendly than burning coal, oil, and gas because nuclear reactors don't release harmful air pollution that contributes to the warming of the planet.
However, nuclear energy does have the potential for accidents that can pose a risk to the environment, so the challenge of maintaining existing facilities while the current presidential administration focuses on nuclear power expansion has been significant.
If the plume is not contained, it could also affect the habitat of local wildlife that live in the canals, including sea life such as crocodiles, dolphins, manatees, lobsters, and land mammals like Florida panthers and gray foxes.
Silverstein explained to Bloomberg that Miami Waterkeeper is not against nuclear power, but that "the plant must operate safely and cannot be allowed to threaten our drinking water.

Not Just a Camp. Not Just a Tragedy. A Mirror.
This isn’t just about Camp Mystic.
It’s about 82 lives lost across Central Texas.
It’s about 27 girls and counselors at an elite camp and dozens of everyday Texans whose names you haven’t seen in the headlines.
We’ve heard the polished grief for Camp Mystic. We’ve seen the prayers, the ribbons, the televised tears. And that grief is real. But so is the silence around everyone else who died in the same flood — in the same night — just without the privilege.
Was this preventable?
Yes.
Meteorologists screamed warnings days ahead.
The National Weather Service issued flash flood alerts hours before the water rose.
But the systems meant to respond had already been cut, gutted, or ignored.
FEMA funding slashed.
NOAA and weather science jobs eliminated.
Local counties, like Kerr, still lacked sirens or river alarm systems even after decades of prior flooding.
And now? The same politicians who cut preparedness budgets are offering “thoughts and prayers” on camera.
Camp Mystic is a sacred name in Texas elite circles. Girls of governors, oil families, and even former first ladies have attended.
This summer:
~750 campers
~$4,500 each
Estimated $3.3–$3.5 million in one session alone
And yet, no real evacuation plan.
No sirens.
No weather-proof bunkers.
No required flood training.
Just prayers and hope on a river that’s flooded before.
In 1932. In 1978. In 1987.
This was known.
And still, kids were sleeping in cabins on the banks.
While the nation grieves the girls at Mystic, 41 other Kerr County residents also died.
They weren’t from legacy families.
They weren’t in matching Mystic uniforms.
But they mattered.
RV families from Odessa, gone.
A 92-year-old swept from her attic.
A father-of-four drowned saving his kids.
A beloved camp director from a different girls’ camp, lost.
No headlines. No hashtags. Just grief.
While politicians bickered, Mexico sent firefighters.
Yes, Mexico sent trained first responders across the border to help rescue Americans.
Why? Because they know what community means.
Because some of the bravest acts that night came from two young Mexican counselors who rescued 20 girls, wrote names on their bodies with Sharpie in case they didn’t make it.
Let that sink in:
The same country demonized at our borders just saved our daughters.
We failed these kids.
All of them.
Not just at Camp Mystic but across the Hill Country.
We failed the RV family.
The old woman.
The teacher.
The father.
We failed the weather scientists who warned us.
We failed the responders who didn’t have resources.
And we failed the Mexican heroes who won’t get headlines but gave everything.
So No, I’m Not in the Mood to Be Witty
Because this wasn’t a tragedy. It was a choice.
A choice to ignore science.
A choice to protect profit over planning.
A choice to treat some deaths as national news and others as statistics.
We can’t claim “nobody could have known.”
We did know.
We’ve known for decades.
We just decided it wasn’t urgent.
Until now.
If you're reading this:
Say their names, all of them.
Demand sirens in every river town.
Fund FEMA.
Fund science.
And never forget that when the river came, it didn’t ask what color your skin was or who had money.
It just took.

THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD INFO TO PASS ALONG...
Through a rapist's eyes! A group of rapists and date rapists in prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim and here are some interesting facts:
1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle. They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun! , braid or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common targets.
2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women whose clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors around to cut clothing.
3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are off guard and can be easily overpowered.
4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is grocery store parking lots.
5] Number two is office parking lots/garages.
6] Number three is public restrooms.
7] The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman and quickly move her to a second location where they don't have to worry about getting caught.
8] If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going after you isn't worth it because it will be time-consuming.
9] These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas, or other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their hands.
10] Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince these guys you're not worth it.
POINTS THAT WE SHOULD REMEMBER:
1] If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk: can't believe it is so cold out here, we're in for a bad winter. Now that you've seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up, you lose appeal as a target.
2] If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to said they'd leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY target.
3] If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.
4] If someone grabs you, you can't beat them with strength but you can do it by outsmarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and
armpit or in the upper inner thigh - HARD. One woman in a class this guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts.
5] After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy's parts it is extremely painful. You might think that you'll anger the guy and make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of
trouble. Start causing trouble, and he's out of there.
6] When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked
audibly.
7] Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any odd behavior, don't dismiss it, and go with your instincts. You may feel little silly at the time, but you'd feel much worse if the guy really was trouble.
FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THESE AS WELL....
I know you are smart enough to know these pointers but there will be some, where you will go "hmm I must remember that" After reading, forward it to someone you care about, never hurts to be careful in
this crazy world we live in.
1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it, do it.
2. Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans: if a robber asks for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from you.... chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy. The driver won't see you but everybody else will. This has saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc., and just sit
(doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS! The predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for him to get in on the passenger side, put a gun to your head, and tell you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS, LEAVE.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or parking garage:
a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be hiding at the passenger side, peek into your car, inside the passenger side floor, and in the back seat. (DO THIS TOO BEFORE RIDING A TAXI CAB).
b. If you! U are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their cars.
c. Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a guard /policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot).
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times; and even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when he abducted his next victim.
I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. I was going to send this to the ladies only, but guys, if you love your mothers,
wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it onto them, as well.
Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it's better safe than sorry.

May all women stand together.
May we soften our hearts to one another,
and open our minds to truly see each other.
May we recognize the strength in every woman,
the strength in her voice,
in her silence,
in her story,
in her becoming.
May we honor our differences,
knowing that our diversity is our power.
In a world that may try to divide us,
may we return, again and again, to unity.
To compassion.
To encouragement.
To grace.
May we be safe places for each other.
May we be soft landings,
loud cheerleaders,
and steady hands in times of uncertainty.
Together, we rise.
Together, we heal.
Together, we grow.
Let us stand, shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart,
and create a space where all women are seen,
heard,
held,

Meet the parents of the Idaho mass shooter, who lit a forest fire so he could shoot firefighters as they bravely ran into danger.
The most striking aspect of living in America is how atrocities have become a daily occurrence. One day it's a car bomb outside a fertility clinic, the next day it's a man shooting a Black church or Jewish temple; another day it's a man shooting a Latino grocery store; the next day a group firebombing the Pennsylvania governor; or trying to kidnap the governor of Michigan.
School shootings alone have become near daily tragedies in the US, whereas they are so rare in other countries that some countries with millions of residents that have existed for hundreds of years have never suffered a school shooting. Australia infamously had one tragic school shooting and within weeks passed the most comprehensive gun safety bill in the Western world.
One would be forgiven for thinking perhaps the spirits of the 80 million indigenous and First Nations people who we robbed for this land are paying us back for the historic crimes we committed against them.
500 years after landing on this continent, 250 some odd years after the nation's founding, and we have not yet learned to co-exist without targeting one group or another for extermination.
Have you heard the story of the fish who can't recognize the existence of water? The allegory, as told by author David Foster Wallace among others, highlights how easily we overlook the most fundamental and ever-present aspects of our reality.
The most ever-present reality of living in the United States are the daily acts of right-wing terrorism committed against innocent civilians.
This week it's Idaho, last week it was Minnesota. And before that, Charleston. Charlottesville. Columbine. Oklahoma City. El Paso. Buffalo. Pittsburgh.
A gun. A bomb. A car.
The places change. The weapons change. The victims also range from middle class to working poor, immigrants, Black people going to church, Black people shopping for groceries, Jewish people at synagogue, kids in school. But the perpetrators are always the same. According to the FBI, 100% of extremist acts in 2022 were committed by right-wing operatives. In any given year, the figure fluctuates between 95% and 100%.
There is a war going on outside no one is safe from. And it's being waged simultaneously by one of the two major parties, the White House and Congressional Republicans—as well as their most ardent supporters. Foreign governments correctly identify the Proud Boys as a terrorist group while the White House gives them pardons, a bank robber mask, and an ICE vest. MAGA supporters are so violent and unstable one even shot at their Dear Leader last summer.
The most infuriating part is that acts of right-wing terror have become so commonplace that a man with a latex mask can kill a lawmaker and her family, and nearly kill another lawmaker and their family, and the media passes over the story in two days. No follow up. Nothing more to see. No problems left unsolved.
Make no mistake, these are acts of terror. And if they were committed by any other group, it would be front page news 24-7 until justice was done. If this was any other identifiable organization, they would be labeled terrorist operations. The corporate media and every politician in DC would stop everything they are doing until they put an end to the group, immediately and permanently.
But because of the color of the perpetrators, because of the color of their hats, because they come from ostensibly nice families, because they don't 'fit the description', because a century ago and today many are rewarded for their violence, not only are these atrocities never stopped, they are never reported as part of a vast, criminal network of terror cells.
We have to say it out loud and clearly because the media absolutely refuses: MAGA is a domestic terrorist group.
This is a group with specific ideologies and worldviews, specific language, clothing, grievances, who use violence to accomplish their objectives, whether that's the anti-abortion bombers, school shooters, or forest arsonists. The current right-wing members of the Supreme Court were funded, groomed, and selected by the same right-wing groups who murdered abortion doctors. The same people who fund Heritage Foundation also funded the January 6 insurrectionists.
It's not a random coincidence that the same groups the White House is targeting are the same people these domestic terrorists are targeting. It's not a random coincidence that these shooters come from hardcore MAGA families who have groomed their kids to become violent, hateful, mass murderers.
This is the water around us. And our enemies are nurses. They are doctors. They are veterans. They are obviously cops. They have guns, hate communism, and gorge themselves on a diet of grievance, bigotry, and ignorance. Instead of therapy, they seek guns. Lots of guns.
Columbine happened when I was in high school and it was the first school shooting that really shook the nation. At the time, all of us were told it was because these kids were bullied as 'trench coat mafia' or because they listened to Marilyn Manson. Even if we knew some of these stories were absurd, the official line was that these boys were kind of victims in their own right. The grim reality that both these boys were minors from right-wing families who idolized the Third Reich and were able to easily obtain guns. This reality was censored from us.
Thirty years later, and not one single corporate media program has connected the dots.
They can't see the water through the water.
It's not accurate to say the United States is entering a new civil war; the new civil war began more than 30 years ago in Oklahoma City, Ruby Ridge, and Waco. At the time, these child abusers, pedophiles, and armed right-wing lunatics were portrayed as victims, Janet Reno had to step down, and the government was forever painted as the 'bad guy'.
That was their first of many right-wing victories. But the major cognitive battle was won long ago. The right-wing has a political party that singularly controls the US government, and they have a mass movement of people many of whom are willing to mass murder innocents on a daily basis and pay no consequences. In fact, Republicans Mike Lee, JD Vance, and others celebrated the Minnesota shooter and mocked his victims.
Imagine trying to convince someone you live in a functioning democracy where the sitting Vice President celebrates acts of terrorism against lawmakers...and not a single major media group thinks that's worth covering for a few days.
Not a single lawmaker in DC has stated unequivocally that stopping these acts of terror should be a national priority above all else.
Trump's political movement has captured the energy of the most unhinged and violent people among us, and sadly there are tens of millions of them. Not every Trump voter is a MAGA terrorist, but near every damn MAGA terrorist is a Trumpster. Those are facts, you can take it up with the FBI if you have a problem with that data.
And yet, the corporate media has spent the last week in agony over the threat—not from right-wing terrorists—but from a NYC Mayoral candidate named Zohran Mamdani who wants to have affordable rent, free buses, and cheaper groceries. This is the threat the corporate media *will actually spend a week or two obsessing about*.
You don't live in a democracy. You live in a militarized oligarchy where the 40 richest people, who could fit on a bus, have more wealth than the bottom 60%. The government no longer has the consent or legitimacy of the people. It is now held together by masked thugs, some who work for the federal government, while others are free agents. Both are committed to the centuries old cause of expulsion, extermination, and extinction.
The 'inside team' is building concentration camps while the 'outside team' targets the same people but does the job faster without courts, rules, or delay.

And it gets so much worse for MAGA...
The statue stands right where the "Dictator Approved" sculpture stood last week and bears an inscription of the quote that the White House put out in response to that installation: "‘In the United States of America you have the freedom to display your so-called 'art,' no matter how ugly it is.’ — The Trump White House, June 2025.”
Trump has tried to downplay his connections to Epstein, who he once called a "terrific guy" while admitting that he liked girls "on the young side." In a recording released by journalist Michael Wolff, Epstein referred to Trump as his "closest friend."
Flight logs later revealed that Trump traveled on Epstein's private plane at least seven times. Elon Musk caused shockwaves when he tweeted that Trump is "in the Epstein files," only to later delete the post in an effort to wriggle his way back into Trump's good graces.
This new statue will stay up through Sunday and the administration is incensed—
"Wow, these liberal activists masquerading as ‘artists,’ are dumber than I thought!" Trump press aide Abigail Jackson told The Washington Post. “I’ve tricked them into taking down their ugly sculpture and replacing it with a beautiful video of the President’s legendary dance moves that will bring joy and inspiration to all tourists traversing our National Mall. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
"Maybe they will put this on their next sculpture," she added.
The television plays footage of Trump dancing in numerous locations and at various times, but the punchline is when Epstein pops up.
While it has not been confirmed that the artists behind this piece are the same as those behind "Dictator Approved," it's a reasonable conclusion given the facts. Similar materials and artistic style were used for both installations as well as in previous works including an art piece that depicted the feces left on then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desk during the January 6th insurrection, a "mock" tribute to the deadly Capitol attack.
"Dictator Approved" depicted a golden thumbs up crushing the Statue of Liberty with inscriptions of dictators from around the world praising Trump.
According to a filing with the National Park Service, the newest installation is meant to "demonstrate freedom of speech and artistic expression using political imagery." The permit applicant's name is listed as "Mary Harris." The Post speculates that it could be a reference to legendary union organizer Mary Harris Jones, better known as Mother Jones. One can safely conclude that Jones would have been no fan of this corrupt, oligarch, sex offender of a president.
Given the fact that Trump is himself an admitted sexual predator and adjudicated rapist, it's hardly surprising that he flocked to Epstein. MAGA's willingness to overlook this reality — while simultaneously insisting that they care about stopping human trafficking — is a stomach churning irony that reveals the whole rotten ball game. They're willing to overlook anything so long as it's done by their cult leader.

🚨BREAKING: The gangs of L.A. brokered a truce and just did more for injustice against innocent immigrants than the entire U.S. Senate has done since they discovered C-SPAN doesn’t have commercials.
Yeah, you heard me. Street crews… yes, those same folks your racist uncle thinks are the final boss in a Fox News fever dream… are now escorting immigrants to court like chivalrous vigilantes in Nike tech fleece. Because when the state decides the Constitution is optional and ICE turns into a roaming death squad with a mask and a clipboard, sometimes the only due process you get is five dudes in matching hoodies telling the feds, “Nah, bro. Not today.”
And guess what? It works. Because ICE agents will happily snatch a grandma from a church picnic if she makes a good deportation stat… but put them near anyone who doesn’t say “yes, sir” with a trembling voice and suddenly they remember they have “other priorities.” These federalized cosplay commandos without badges (but definitely daddy issues) don’t go after the dangerous… they go after the docile. Why? Because they’re not enforcers of law… they’re mall cops with militarized toys and the moral compass of a broken Etch A Sketch.
So of course ICE targets “assimilated immigrants with families.” Because God forbid we deport a white-collar CEO laundering cartel money in Miami… nah, better to rip a kid from his dad in front of the school, then call it “border security.” These aren’t agents… they’re cowards in windbreakers playing hide-and-seek with the American Dream.
And meanwhile, the gangs… yes, gangs… have done what Congress won’t: form a coalition to protect vulnerable people from a government that thinks “compassion” is a foreign threat. These guys just unionized against fascism faster than the Democratic Party could agree on brunch.
So let’s be real. If you’re more outraged that gang members are helping immigrants than you are that the government is hunting them like they’re Pokémon with poor English, you’re not patriotic… you’re complicit. You’re the spiritual lovechild of George Wallace and a Ring doorbell, screaming “law and order” while your empathy dies in 4K.
ICE isn’t about safety. It’s about optics. It’s about keeping middle America scared shitless so they don’t realize who’s actually robbing them blind: it’s not José from Oaxaca, it’s Jeff from JPMorgan.
So props to the homies rolling deep to immigration court. Because while Congress filibusters itself into irrelevance and ICE roleplays as apartheid cosplay, someone’s actually showing up for justice.
You call it gang violence. I call it community defense.
And if that scares you? That’s not fear. That’s your conscience trying to escape the prison you built out of denial. Let it out. Or stay silent… and history will remember you the same way it remembers the cowards: not at all.
If your biggest concern is how uncomfortable this rant made you, congrats… you’re officially less useful than a wet napkin at a house fire. But hey, keep scrolling. I’m sure there’s a cat video somewhere that’ll let you pretend the world isn’t burning.
Wake the hell up.

“Hello, I'm a dandelion.
A lot of people call me a weed but I'm a friend and come to help you!
.
When you see me, remember that I'm the ONLY one who wants and can grow in that particular spot. Because:
.
Either the soil is too compact / hard / stomped and I want to loosen it for you with my roots.
.
Or there is too little calcium in the soil - don't worry, I will replenish that for you with the dying of my leaves.
.
Or the soil is too acidic. But I will also improve that for you if you give me the chance.
Or a mixture of the above reasons, of course.
.
I'm here because your soil needs my help so best you let me grow without disturbing me! When everything is fixed, I will disappear again, I promise!
.
Are you trying to remove me prematurely with my root? However meticulous you are, I will return 2x as strong! Just until your soil is improved.
.
You can even tell by my growth at which stage my help is at. If my leaves are flat on the ground then I'm far from ready but if they all reach up then I'm already a long way on my way.
.
Something completely different is that I am 1 of the first bloomers in spring so I will announce spring / summer for you.
.
During the day when it's hot, I open my flowers but in the evening when it cools off I close them again quickly. In fact, if it's not hot enough during the day I won't open them at all!
.
My flowers are the first food for insects after hibernation and unlike most other plants, I have pollen AND nectar, not merely one OR the other! And I am generous with them!
.
My flowers are even delicious for you people by the way, did you know? I used to be called ′′honey (or gold) of the poor′′ because my flowers are so sweet in e.g. jam, sauce or salad! The internet is full of recipes - check them out. Personally, I love soaking the blooms in a bowl of water so the insects inside them will float out, then set the blooms out on a paper towel, dip them in an egg batter, roll them in a mixture of 2 parts meal/1 part plain flour that is mixed with a dash of salt and black pepper. Then fry in skillet with canola oil til golden. …YUM
But wait until the end of May or later before you start picking and even then, don't pick everything yet! The biodiversity and bees will be very grateful!”

🐈❤️A 1930s "cat lady" was usually an older woman who lived alone and had several cats as companions.....
During that era, society often viewed women who were unmarried....or living independently....with a certain degree of social stigma..so having a collection of cats could be seen as both a comfort...
These women often preferred the company of their pets to the busy social lives that many others led, and cats became symbols of independence and eccentricity during this period....
In the 1930s, many cat ladies were known for their deep affection for their feline friends, often being seen knitting...reading...or simply enjoying the company of their cats.... Animals were not only companions, but also emotional support during a time of great social and economic uncertainty, especially during difficult economic times...
The type of cat lady was often rendered in literature and media, sometimes with a touch of humor or even as a symbol of a life lived outside conventional norms.
While the stereotype of the "cat lady" has become more pronounced over the decades, in the 1930s, these women were simply carving out their own spaces in a world that often made them feel out of place..... Their love for their cats was genuine, and for many, these animals became their closest friends, providing affection and companionship during a time of social upheaval...

🤯 So the official White House account—yes, the verified one—decides the best way to showcase U.S. immigration policy is to post a video of handcuffed brown men being marched across a bridge like cattle, with the caption “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye.” Like this is a damn sports game and we’re jeering the opposing team off the field instead of broadcasting state-sponsored mass expulsions. This wasn’t an intern screwing around—this was reviewed, approved, and uploaded to represent the government of the United States. On Facebook. To the whole world.
Imagine the sociopathic detachment it takes to sit in a room, approve that post, and not one person thinks to say, “Hey, uh… maybe it’s f***ed up to mock human beings in chains with a pop song?” And for the record, the only difference between this and the fascist propaganda of the 1930s is the number of likes, shares, and cringe reacts. These weren’t war criminals or violent offenders—they were just migrants, likely fleeing horrors we helped fund, arm, or exploit. And now we’re taunting them on social media with karaoke lyrics?
You want to talk about moral collapse? You want to talk about the rot inside the American political system? It’s not just the jackbooted extremists. It’s the comfortable, complicit class in a White House press office who have turned human suffering into PR gold. It’s the suit-and-tie Democrats too cowardly to call this out, and it’s the journalists who treat this like just another story in the feed. You know what this post really said? “We don’t see these people as human. And we don’t think you do either.”
Where’s the empathy? Where’s the outrage from the so-called resistance crowd? The same people who posted crying Statue of Liberty memes in 2018 are now treating mass deportations like halftime entertainment. This country has entered a new stage of cruelty—not the quiet bureaucratic kind, but the loud, gloating, meme-worthy variety. And if we don’t call it out at full volume, we’re just paving the road to even darker places.
And what’s worse? This wasn’t even Trump’s page. This is the current administration. This is the so-called “adults in the room.” So if you were still clinging to the fantasy that one side was inherently more humane, here’s your wake-up call. They’re all sipping from the same poisoned well. One party builds the prison camps. The other writes catchy jingles for them. Same boots. Different shine.
So here we are: a government so bloated with arrogance and removed from basic decency that it literally sings people out of the country. And yet the masses scroll past it, liking, laughing, maybe commenting something edgy before moving on to cat videos and brunch photos. But if we let this become normal—if we treat deportations like entertainment and cruelty like content—we’re not just watching the fall of democracy. We’re clapping for it on the way down.

BREAKING: Donald Trump destroys a crucial piece of the American economy as tourism to the United States dramatically plummets due to his escalating fascism — down 12% from last year.
And it gets even worse...
According to the U.S. International Trade Administration, the number of tourists visiting the United States from Western Europe dropped by 7% in March. The largest group, tourists from the United Kingdom, dropped by 14%.
Ireland was down by 27%. German tourism decreased by 28%, perhaps connected to the fact that MAGA oligarch Elon Musk has spent a great deal of time promoting the far-right German AFD party.
Spain and Norway both dropped by 25%. Switzerland decreased by 25%.
Denmark dropped a jaw-dropping 34% — a likely result of Trump's deranged efforts to seize Greenland, which is a an autonomous territory of Denmark.
Making all of this worse are the horror stories emerging of innocent tourists being terrorized and deported by ICE officers inflamed by Trump's rhetoric.
Travel writer Eoghan Corry told The Irish Times that there is "an intense uncertainty" among participants at a conference for American travel operators.
“The German market is very important to the US, but there has been immense publicity in Germany about border control," he added, explaining that social media is "full of cases" of European travelers being detained and questioned at US borders.
To the rest of the world, America is becoming an uglier and crueler place so it's no wonder that foreign tourists are choosing to spend their vacation money elsewhere.
The people hurt most by this tourism slump are obviously American business owners and vendors who rely on tourists to drive their profits. Once again, Donald Trump has inflicted economic suffering on the American people and given us nothing in return.

The Little Albert Experiment
In 1920, two psychologists John B. Watson and Rosalie Rayner turned a BABY into a science experiment.
They wanted to see if fear could be manufactured.
What they discovered changed psychology forever and exposed How Easily the Human Mind can be Programmed.
1. John B. Watson believed all human behavior could be conditioned. So he took a 9-month-old baby from a hospital and gave him a name, Little Albert.
Then he set out to do something chilling...
2. At first, they tested Albert’s reaction to various animals: Rats, rabbits, dogs, monkeys. He showed 'No Fear'
Then they introduced a loud, clanging noise every time he touched the white rat. Albert began to cry.
3. After several pairings of rat plus loud noise...
Albert became terrified of the rat, even when the noise was gone. But it didn’t stop there. Soon, Albert feared anything white and furry. Dogs, rabbits, even Santa’s beard.
4. The experiment proved a disturbing truth:
Fear can be engineered. And once implanted, it spreads.
This is the foundation of:
— Propaganda
— Indoctrination
— Emotional abuse
— Manipulative parenting
5. Watson and Rayner walked away with academic fame. Albert was left psychologically scarred. He was never deconditioned. He died young, never knowing what was done to him.
No ethics board. No consent. Just control.
6. The scariest part?
Little Albert wasn’t unique. We are all born fearless, until someone programs fear into us.
Through Shame.
Through Punishment.
Through Repetition.
Understand this, and you Reclaim Your Power.
7. The lesson?
Fear isn’t always natural. It’s often planted, by someone who benefits from your submission.
Ask yourself:
Who profits from your fear?
Who taught you what to be afraid of?
Break the conditioning.
Once they taught fear to a child, now they teach it to the masses, dressed in algorithms and ads. We are Little Albert, frightened by screens, they are the scientists, profiting from our conditioned minds. We sit in cages built of glass, while they walk off with gold and smiles
8. If They can Create Fear, You can Undo it.
Condition Yourself for Strength, Clarity, and Selfcontrol. Because They Don't Want a Free Mind.
They Want an Obedient One.
Stay sharp. (Reposted)

They Pay. You Benefit. They Get Nothing. The Cruel Lie Behind the MAGA War on Social Security and Immigrants.
By Tony Pentimalli
In the age of viral lies and rage-fueled politics, no myth has been more cynically deployed than the notion that undocumented immigrants are draining America’s Social Security system. MAGA politicians and right-wing pundits scream about “illegals” getting benefits they didn’t earn, while facts rot under the weight of their soundbites. But here’s the cold, hard truth: millions of undocumented immigrants pay into the Social Security system—and get absolutely nothing in return.
Let that sink in. For decades, immigrants—many without legal status—have done backbreaking work in America’s fields, factories, restaurants, and construction sites. They’ve had taxes withheld from their paychecks. They’ve filed tax returns using Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) or Social Security numbers acquired while they had temporary or legal work status. They pay into the system because it’s required, because it’s the law—and because it’s the American thing to do.
And yet, when it comes time to collect, they are shut out. They don’t qualify for benefits unless they can adjust their status and meet a strict 10-year work requirement under a valid SSN tied to lawful presence. Most never do. So their contributions—totaling billions every year—quietly bolster a system that often vilifies their existence.
The numbers are staggering. According to the Social Security Administration’s own Chief Actuary, undocumented immigrants contributed an estimated $12 billion to the Social Security Trust Fund in a single year (2010), and continue to contribute billions annually. In 2016, researchers at New American Economy estimated that undocumented immigrants paid $13 billion into Social Security and only received about $1 billion in services—almost entirely in indirect forms, like emergency medical care.
Ask yourself: how is that a handout?
Meanwhile, MAGA voices in Congress and online continue to push the falsehood that immigrants are issued Social Security numbers as a fast track to free government benefits. They peddle grotesque exaggerations, like the recent “mind-blowing” chart promoted by Elon Musk and others claiming over 2 million SSNs were issued to non-citizens in 2024 under President Biden’s watch. What they conveniently leave out is that the vast majority of these SSNs were legally assigned to immigrants with work authorization, including green card holders, asylum seekers, and refugees—people who followed legal processes, paid fees, and were granted the right to work here.
This isn’t a “scandal.” It’s basic governance.
And while these workers sweat in obscurity, their taxes propping up a system they’re locked out of, the real freeloaders—the oligarchs and corporate barons—laugh from their towers. They hoard billions, dodge taxes with offshore accounts, exploit every legal loophole their lobbyists paid for, and bankroll the very politicians screaming about immigrants stealing benefits.
Let’s be clear: the billionaire class robs this country blind—and MAGA is their PR firm. Undocumented immigrants aren’t bankrupting Social Security. They’re keeping it alive. But MAGA needs someone to blame, and it's easier to punch down than risk biting the hand that funds your campaign.
The right loves to demonize the IRS—until it comes to immigrants. In 1996, the IRS created the ITIN program to ensure that even people without an SSN could pay taxes. It had nothing to do with benefits and everything to do with fiscal responsibility. America wanted the money, and immigrants paid it. Quietly. Without protest. Without reward.
But MAGA doesn’t do nuance. It feeds on fear. It thrives on rage. And it wins elections by convincing struggling Americans that brown hands in the fields are reaching into their pockets. Never mind that the real thieves are sitting behind mahogany desks, toasting tax cuts while the Social Security trust fund is filled with the labor of people who will never benefit from it.
Here’s what MAGA won’t tell you: if every undocumented worker stopped contributing to Social Security tomorrow, the system would be in far worse shape than it already is. These workers are net contributors. They are subsidizing the retirements of millions of native-born Americans—many of whom are cheering on the very demagogues trying to deport them.
If that sounds like hypocrisy, it’s because it is.
We need to call this what it is: a moral disgrace. A nation that takes the labor, sweat, and tax dollars of its immigrant workers, then turns around and blames them for its own economic failings, is a nation that has lost its soul. It’s not immigration that threatens Social Security. It’s ignorance weaponized by cruelty—and funded by greed.
So the next time a politician like Marjorie Taylor Greene or Donald Trump Jr. opens their mouth to rage about “illegals stealing our benefits,” remember this: they are lying to you. And the people they’re lying about? They’re not asking for your benefits. They’re just doing the work—and paying for yours.
If we want a Social Security system built on fairness, not fear, we must stop scapegoating immigrants and start taxing the billionaires who bought this lie. Speak up. Vote smart. And never let a grifter in a flag pin tell you who the real Americans are.
