What is the first thing I will do when a ceasefire is declared in Gaza?

The first thing? Honestly, I don’t know if I can give a clear answer, because simply put, we’ve started living day by day.

But let me tell you, the first thing I will do is… breathe. Yes, breathe in air without fear, lift my head to the sky, and feel that there are no planes above us, that the only sound I hear is the sound of life.

And then? I will run. I will run through our streets that have turned to rubble, searching for my family, my friends, for any traces of our lives that used to be. I will run to the grave of my friends whom we buried hastily under the shelling, trying to tidy up the grave, telling them: “My friend, the shelling has calmed down… we can sit for a while without fear.”

I will return to where our house used to be, gather some memories from under the rubble, maybe I’ll find a photo or a piece of cloth or even a scent that used to live in that place. I will sit with my family under the tent that sheltered us instead of our home, and I will try to tell them that tomorrow will be better, even if I myself don’t believe it.

And then? I will dream. I will start to draw new dreams, small dreams… like a cup of tea on a quiet morning, or big ones… like rebuilding our home from scratch.

And you… if you heard the news of a ceasefire, what is the first thing you would do?

And I will start to rebuild my parents' house, get excited, and change the goal of the fundraising campaign from evacuation to reconstruction. Will you support me in rebuilding my family’s home?

it's been at least a decade since i last used this website as like an actual blog/journal, it's essentially been an extension of my pinterest board for game mods lol. i dont have access to my original tumblr, i dont even know if the account is still there tbh.

i guess with tiktok's ban in the states coming up on the 19th, im returning to old creature comforts but ive been so disconnected from the social aspect of social media for the longest time, that i really question myself if im going to put effort into an online presence anymore.

i suppose i can just... use this as an online journal and leave it at that. no ulterior motives to building a social media presence (i get overwhelmed with too many unanswered texts, let's be real). not trying to content farm, nor click/rage bait, no paid promos.

about downloading mods

mods (not cc) get updated often, especially after game updates. if you're looking for a mod please check the creator's socials first to see when was the last update. after that, check this date on simfileshare:

if the mod was last updated before this, then the mod is up to date. if it was updated after that, then shoot me an ask reminding me to update it!!

beware of hidden curseforge links

some creators have been hiding curseforge downloads in their patreon posts. if you're getting something from patreon it should be a direct download in patreon itself, you can find the files at the bottom of each post with the file's name, like this:

if a creator is not doing this but instead having a "download" link that quickly opens a new tab and closes immediately, this is most likely to be a curseforge redirect. to avoid this, you can right click the download link and click "copy link". then paste this somewhere, if you see either "curseforge" or "forgecdn", this means it is redirecting you to curseforge without any warning. you can let me know if you find something like this so i can reupload this content to sfs.

Sailor Moon Loading Screens

hi yall! after the life and death update, i noticed that my treasured sailor moon themed loading screen had a glitching plumbob, so something had to be done!

in the spirit of sharing the love, i've gone ahead and made two loading screens for you to choose from, one of the city and one of usagi's rose background.

install reminder - you can only have ONE loading screen .package in your mods folder at a time. place file directly into your mods folder, and make sure that mods/scripts are enabled in the game options menu.

loading screens are made based on a 1920x1080 screen display

V.1: Silent Pines, 1998 Special Credit: Silent Pines is heavily inspired by and uses a very similar style to the stunning @windbrook savefile by @folkling, the gorgeous portsim savefile by @florwal, and the amazing builds by @moonwoodmillz. Thank you all for your hard work, I take a lot of inspiration from you all. Silent Pines is a base-game only save file inspired by Life is Strange with 3 major worlds, a whole new set of townies, and a complete mystery to solve.

I used S4Studio to rename all the worlds, and I've decorated all the neighbourhoods with T.O.O.L. As I said before, Silent Pines is completely base-game friendly, absolutely no packs or kits are used. There is some custom CC, mainly posters that add to the story. The CC is one package file and adds nothing other than some customisation to the story. It is not required.

For example the missing poster of Cleo Emerson, a girl who disappeared under mysterious circumstances;

Silent Pines is heavily inspired by Life is Strange, the Windbrook save file, florwalsims' Portsim save file, as well as the hazy nostalgia of the late 90s and early 2000s. I hope to see you all soon for V.2!
