mac with marks on his wrists, rope burns, cuffs, duct tape; they've tried everything to keep him still, to have him restrained but he manages to get through them every time, but it doesn't stop the marks, from the rope burns that tingle every time he moves, to the thin slices where the cuffs were so tight they'd bit into him without him moving, to how the duct tape has raised abrasions, blood beading to the surface; he's tried so hard, but he wears the marks for weeks after rescue.
