Hey!! So first things first, I’m still here lol. My personal life has just been a bit messy lately, plus early apps for college are coming up so I’m preparing myself for that. I’ve been trying to find the motivation to post on this account again, but it’s not coming to me right now, so I’m going to stop trying to force it. This blog isn’t dead per se, it’s just going on a prolonged hiatus. Sorry to everyone who sent requests, I really appreciate all of you.

There wasn't a soul in Night Raven College who didn't know of Vil Schoenheit and his fame. His striking beauty, along with his confident, regal-like mannerisms and persistent determination, has gained him a "cult-following. His modeling and acting career grew in success, and he has reached over five million followers on Magicam and earning him his status as a prominent influencer

Vil was an inspiration to many, yourself included. Even before you were aware of your wish to become a model, Vil's fresh takes on the importance of hard-work and self-care captivated you to your core. His words motivated you to be the best version of yourself, and eventually, your underlying dream of becoming a model had begun to blossom

You were sorted into Pomefiore, the same dorm as Vil. Shockingly, you didn't let Vil's presence cause your path to modeling to falter. In fact, his presence encouraged you to work even harder to achieve your dream. You took every opportunity to show off your talent, a notion that didn't slip past Vil's watchful gaze

Vil took interest in you. He admired your determination in developing your skills and saw potential in you. As time went on, you began to speak with him more and more until you were interacting on a daily basis. Eventually you would become close with him, and your relationship status would take a shift from "friendship" to "dating" (I'm not being lazy here I swear)

If joining Pomefiore drove you further into the modelling path, then dating Vil skyrocketed that notion. Getting familiar with Vil's life, both personal and career, left a burning desire in you. Now more than ever, you wanted to be a model

For females, modeling gigs typically have a standard height requirement between 5'9" and 6'0" ft. You were below 5'9" ft, but you had still believed you had just as fair of a shot as anyone else, right?

You had encountered a scout when you were looking at a flier for a modelling gig. Nothing too grand, but it would be enough to help you get a jump start on your career. While you were preoccupied with thoughts on how this could be your chance, you hadn't noticed the scout looming behind you until you turned around

Long story short, the scout didn’t seem to share the same sentiment as you. They didn’t believe you were cut out for modeling, claiming you were too amateurish to make it big, not to mention your height gave you a significant disadvantage (or at least so they claimed)

It was a bit devastating to hear a scout shoot you down in minutes. This was a dream you had been clinging onto for your whole life, even when you weren’t fully aware of it, and you’d been prepared to bring it into fruition. Your confidence began to waver, and you wondered if you should give up

That night in the dorms, Vil noticed you seemed… off. You were unusually quiet, and even if it was getting late you hadn't started your nightly routine yet. It was as if something was weighing you down

There was no way Vil was going to leave you there looking miserable, so he decided to check up on you. No use lying about it because he'd find out eventually. You told Vil about what happened, what the scout had said about you not being fit enough to be a model, and how you weren't sure if you were as cut out for the modelling industry as you thought you were

You were prepared for Vil to agree with the scout, but to your shock he had the exact opposite reaction from what you envisioned. Though he maintained his composure, you could clearly see that he was upset that you told you weren't fit to be a model

Vil firmly denied those words. Sure, you were shorter than today's big models, but that doesn't mean you didn't have a chance. In his opinion, the world needed models of all shapes and sizes. In addition to that, physical attributes have nothing to do with talent, even if one were to meet every little absurd physical standard. Appearances alone isn't enough to determine a person's skill-level or success

After giving you his input, he reaffirmed that you did the potential and drive to be a model and said that you were going to take that modelling gig (because like hell he's going to let you give up that easily

He did give you a biiiit of a scolding for taking what that scout said to heart, but it's only because he cares. Realistically, no matter what your qualities were, you would likely get a number of un-constructive critics who will pick out your "weak points" and use those to push you down. It's even been done to him before. He wants to prepare you for the worst and help build your self-confidence so that you don't get discouraged again

In short, Vil is very supportive of your goal, giving you a mix of praise and construction criticism. If anyone comes for you because of your height, well, let's just say they better hope Vil isn't in the room

[Name] yawned, stretching their arms outwards as they laid on their back against the firm mattress of Wukong's couch. With the long week they've had to deal with, a lazy Sunday was the exact crowning jewel they needed to kick back and unwind, and what better way to spend them than with one of your closest friends?

Resisting the urge to let their exhaustion coax them into slumber, [Name] turned over onto their side, curious to see what Wukong had been up to during the time they had been staring at the ceiling. The Monkey King had been seated on the floor, surprisingly too focused on whatever task he was trying to complete to respond to [Name]'s movements. Upon closer inspection, in front of him was a piece of paper with art supplies scattered around him.

[Name] blinked, "since when do you draw?"

That seemed to be enough to grab Wukong's attention. "Uh, since always? Didn't I tell you this before?"

"Yeah, but… I kind of figured you were bluffing."

Wukong looked at them with false offense, sputtering in exaggeration, as if he were actually upset by that comment. "Wha- I'm shocked! Offended, even! I have my hidden talents you know. See for yourself!"

Reluctantly, [Name] rolled off the couch to get a look at Wukong's supposed masterpiece. A lingering part of them still expected to see a humorous assortment of scribbles, yet they were completely blown away once they witnessed his scarily realistic and accurate depiction of Flower Fruit Mountain, fully sketched down to it's finest details. It even had Wukong's little monkeys companions, who's sketched counterparts were scurrying around the mountain.

"How is your work not on display in a museum?!" [Name] exclaimed questioningly. They felt a little guilty about underestimating Wukong's artistic talents. They just weren't expecting him to be insanely good.

"Stage fright, or something," Wukong nonchalantly shrugged.

"Or maybe being the Monkey King is just a cover for your true identity as an artist," They mused. "I can't believe you've had a secret identity all this time and you didn't tell me."

He laughed, deciding to play along with the joke. "Caught me red-handed! And if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret."

Their exchange of friendly banter went on for quite some time before [Name] finally decided to abandon their original Sunday plans of having an intense ceiling-staring session, choosing to watch Wukong color his work before grabbing a piece of paper for themself and joining him in his makeshift "art studio." Overall, it was the perfect close to a weekend of relaxation.

Macaque

"'Come hiking with me' you said. 'It'll be worth it' you said," a muttered complaint spilled into the air, courtesy of [Name]. Macaque and [Name] had been hiking the same mountain for a little over an hour. The rugged terrain combined with the narrow twists and turns of the trail wasn't helping with [Name]'s growing exhaustion. "It feels like we've been at this for ages! How much further until we're there?"

Macaque's voice rumbled in a soft, fond chuckle, clearly finding amusement in his friend's whining. "Relax, we're almost there. Besides, I meant what I said. You'll be thanking me once we've reached the top. Would I lie to you?"

[Name] opened their mouth to respond, but Macaque beat them to the punch with a quick "don't answer that."

Thankfully, Macaque had been truthful. A mere ten minutes after that small exchange, they had finally reached their final destination. It was the height of the Spring season, so despite the gentle chill of the flowing breeze hitting their skin, the weather was warm and comfortable. The view itself was breathtaking. The natural assortment of flora below them shone vibrantly against the sunlight, resembling the picturesque nature of a meticulously painted landscape.

The awed look on [Name]'s face didn't escape Macaque's gaze. "Told you it would be worth it." He grinned, finding a spot near the mountain's edge to sit down. "Honestly, even I forgot how beautiful the view was from up here."

"You haven't been here recently?"

Macaque shook his head in answer. "I used to come up here all the time with an old friend, so it just brings up a lot of memories, you know?" Perhaps [Name] was imagining it, but it almost sounded like there was a hint of sadness in his voice. They chose not to question it, instead letting him continue. "I wasn't sure how I'd feel about coming up here again."

'It's part of the reason I invited you,' a sudden thought that went unspoken. That was a little too vulnerable for his tastes.

[Name] walked over to where he was sat and settled next to him. They didn't speak after that, instead choosing to take in the view in comfortable silence. There was nothing awkward about it. Believe it or not, Macaque wasn't always the most talkative, so having someone he could sit with in silence was a pleasant change of pace.

Time passed, with [Name] being the one to break the silence. "Thanks for inviting me, this was actually pretty nice."

"Glad you like it. Does that mean you'll stop bugging me by asking 'are we there yet' every time we climb up here?"

"Don't count on it."

Sun Wukong

• Dating him was one thing, but marriage? That's a whooole other ballgame. Definitely has its ups and downs and they are very prominent

• Not going to lie, you’re probably the one who proposes. Wukong is immortal, so the thought of proposing has never really crossed his mind (neither has marriage tbh). He doesn’t see the point in getting married since you two already act “married.” If you want to make it official, though, he’ll give in 

• He doesn't stress over taking you on extravagant dates or giving you expensive gifts when you're dating, and it's the same attitude when married. Hell, your wedding only consisted of family and a few close friends and there wasn't much planning involved 

• There’s not much discussion on the topic of moving in together, it kind of just happens on its own? When you were dating you’d always show up at each other’s homes (often unannounced on Wukong’s end) so there’s not really much to talk about since you're both already kind of used to staying in the same place together

• I hope you know how to cook because he sure can't! He travels a lot and ends up snacking on peaches and peach chips so he hasn't tried to learn. The most he can do in regards to "cooking" is brew you a cup of tea. Don't worry about preferences, at this point he'll eat anything as long as it tastes good.

• This man leaves his stuff all around the house. There's probably an extra room somewhere dedicated to some of the stuff he's hoarded over the years. Unless you want to spend days cleaning everything, make sure he picks up after himself

• One word. Commitment. We all know that Wukong can have some trouble when it comes to commitment Don't be surprised by his tendencies to run off on adventures while notifying you at the last second. You're going to need to call him out on his behavior because he most likely isn't aware that he may be hurting you 

• After you both start to get settled in the marriage, there are lots of traveling together, whether it be for business, adventures, or vacation. You've probably seen more little corners of the world now than before you were married

• Watching the sunrise together. I know, cheesy, but honestly, a relationship with Wukong is going to be a little cheesy sometimes. He loves watching the sunrise because it makes him feel at peace and boosts his mood (especially since the view from his home is incredible) and he wants to share that with you

• Personally, I think Wukong wouldn't mind trying to start a family, though he wouldn't be in any rush to do so. Don't get me wrong, he likes the thought of it, but even he's aware of how much knowledge he lacks when it comes to familial relationships

Liu'er Mihou/Macaque

• His anxiety really said [insert upwards trend chart emoji here]. He didn't think he'd ever get married to anyone (not that he isn't over the moon about it). He's both excited and anxious

• Like Wukong, Macaque prefers a smaller wedding with a shorter guest list, though he takes wedding planning a bit more seriously. Part of the reason for this is that he likes things organized. The other part is that he wants your wedding to be as memorable for both of you as possible

• Congrats, you've domesticated Macaque /hj. Seriously though, he finds himself spending more time at home with you. When he leaves the house, it's typically to do something absolutely necessary (ex. when the Lady Bone Demon needs him for something). He sees both home and you as an escape from his troubles

• There's this brief period after you get married when he won't stop doing nice things for you (making/buying you gifts, doing tasks for you, etc.). Of course, it's because he loves you, but it's also because part of him thinks that the marriage is too good to be true and that he needs to prove that he's worthy enough for it

• Splitting chores because he doesn't think it's fair for one person to take all the workload, nor does he see a point in doing so. You'll take on the bigger chores (such as cleaning out the house) together

• Has a huge rush of pride when he sees you wearing the ring on your finger. Sometimes his eyes will linger on it, though he'll immediately avert his gaze if you notice

• You thought he couldn't get any more protective when you started dating, but that was only scratching the surface of it. It's still not too overbearing but it's on thin ice. At this point, you've probably become best friends with the shadow clones he sends to look after you when he's gone

• Speaking of shadows, he teleports around the house a lot. For example, you'll be doing a mundane chore (let's say the dishes) and he'll just jump down from the ceiling out of nowhere

• There's this sort of unspoken rule between the two of you where neither of you can go to bed upset/angry at the other. What I mean by that is if there's an argument, you can't leave it unresolved. It helps encourage communication between you two

• Ngl,,, I think Macaque is a family man at heart. Is it something he's going to admit on his own? That's debatable. He thinks that if he ever has kids he'll end up scaring or hurting them. He'll open up to you about the idea eventually, he just needs time

Floyd Leech

• He is a pro at gift-giving. He keeps mental notes of all of your likes and dislikes and uses that information to get you the perfect gifts for special occasions (or whenever he feels like it)

• Lots of gentle but firm squeezes. It doesn't matter where you are, he'll just slither behind you and start snaking his arms around your waste. It's kind of a sensory thing for him. It makes both him, and possibly you, feel secure. He won't do it if it makes you uncomfortable, though

• Very much on the protective side. If anyone even looks at you with a hint of intention to harm you he's instantly behind you, a shark-tooth grin plastered on his face as he throws a menacing look to whoever is bothering you. It's kinda like having your own bodyguard

• He likes taking showers/bathes with you. It's more fun than taking them by himself. He'll even offer to wash your hair if you wash his in return

• I hc that Floyd enjoys playing in the rain because it reminds him of home. He’ll drag you outside to jump around in the puddles, dance in the rain, or have "mud fights" with him

• Adores arts and crafts. He has a specialty in making jewelry out of seashells. No one knows how he has such a knack for it, but everything he makes looks so lavish and professional. He loves showing them off to you (and even lets you keep some)

• One of his favorite things to do during his free time teaches you how to dance. Partner dances are his favorite, both because he gets to dance with you, and because he’s never really had the chance to try out any partner dances

• He doesn’t always know how to comfort you when you’re upset, so most of the time, he’ll opt to sit next to you or hold you (whatever you’re comfortable with) to remind you that you aren’t alone

• He is TALL. He's going to tease you if you're shorter than him (which let's be honest, considering his height, you most likely are /lh), probably by holding your possessions above your head or just generally messing with you. He'll stop if you tell him he's taking it too far. His height comes with it's advantages as well, for example, warmer hugs!

• If you're a sucker for horror like Floyd, than scary movie nights are a must! He brings a bunch of snacks and the two of you get under the covers of his bed and binge all night. He likes it when you get scared and cling onto him lol

• Floyd has a better singing than most would expect him to. He likes to hum to you, especially when you're both about to go to sleep

• More than happy to go clothes shopping with you. He's picked up quite the fashion sense since he's ventured onto land. He'll help you pick out cute outfits that you enjoy and make you feel comfortable. In turn, he also lets you help pick out clothes for him. You and Floyd will probably end up with at least one matching pair of clothes after a shopping trip

• Super distracting during class. He's always passing you notes, sneaking his hand into yours, and just overall trying to get your attention to focus on him. He can't help it! The guys a bit of a hopeless romantic. If you call him out after class, he'll pretend to have no idea what you're talking about

Jade Leech

• A gentlemen with you. He’s does little things like take off your coat or pull out your seat. You may assume he does this out of habit (and ngl maybe that’s partially true), but it’s also because he loves you and he wants to treat you nicely

• He makes extra sure that you’re taking care of yourself, making sure you’ve catered to your every needs. He’s observant, and can easily tell when you’ve upset or over-working yourself. Don’t even try to be stubborn because he’ll find a way to drag you to the bed or couch so he can pamper you

• The best caretaker when you’re sick! He has everything ready for you before you have the chance to ask. Need a temperature check? The thermomotor is ready. Thirsty for some water, juice, tea, or any beverage of choice? He’s got it covered. Feeling too hot or too cold? He’s got blankets and a rag with a cold bowl of water. All of his attention is going to be on you and making sure you feel better in no time

• He loves taking you with him to go mushroom collecting. Not only is it more efficient to have two people doing the collecting, but he also gets to spend quality time with you and involve you in one of his biggest hobbies (Azul and Floyd didn’t really get it). Afterward, he buys a giant glass ball and you work together to create a special terrarium

• He’s grateful if you let him rant about mushrooms, especially if you start to show genuine interest in his rambles. In turn, he’ll always be happy to hear you rant about your own interests

• Picnic dates! Jade loves the outdoors. He knows all the best picnic spots that are nice and secluded

• Plans out “spa days.” They take place at home, and he gets a bunch of recommendations for self-care products from Vil. Not only do these days help you to relax, but it also reminds him that he needs to relax every now and then too

• You like to cook together. He enjoys trying out new recipes with you, even if you claim that you can’t cook. He just likes spending time with you

• He almost always wakes up before you. He’ll usually get out of bed and start his day, but sometimes he’ll just lay there and gaze at your sleeping form (how do I make this NOT sound creepy). He doesn’t know how to describe it, but something about watching you in such a peaceful state makes him feel at ease

• Jade loves telling you stories about his childhood, typically ones that involve Azul and Floyd. They’ve been close for years, so he has a lot of entertaining stories to look back on. It also helps to bring you two closer together

• Similar to Floyd, he’s protective of you (with a hint of possessiveness), though he’s much more discreet about it. He’ll watch over you from afar (not in a creepy way, he just gets worried from time to time). If you try to call him out on it, he’ll deny it

• I think Jade would also have a secret talent for creating jewelry out of seashells and other beach items. They’re not as extravagant as Floyd’s ones, but he puts a lot of love and care into making them. He’ll be more than happy to take the time to teach you how to make them

• Typically compliments aren’t enough to “fluster” him, but when they’re coming from you, he can’t help but feel a bit bashful (a surprise coming from someone as calculating as Jade). He clears his throat and tries to shrug it off but part of him get’s a bit giddy when you compliment him. He’ll never admit it, but he wouldn’t mind if you complimented him more often

This came out way way WAY later than I intended it to be. My apologies for the wait, it's always busy during this time of the year pfft.

To be honest, I was trying to alter my writing on this one just a tiny bit but it didn't come out as I envisioned, I hope you enjoy though!

Sky 

As king of Eraklyon, Sky is a natural-born leader who is eager to spring into action during moments of crisis. This is, perhaps, why he’s sometimes prone to jumping to conclusions and making sudden decisions. That’s where his S/O comes in. When he needs it, she helps to keep him grounded and reassess situations. 

The night had been a calm one. With schoolwork/training out of the way, the couple had decided to go on a small date together. Sky was a stickler to classic dates, meaning the two had decided to go out to a local restaurant for dinner. After a night filled with delicious food and light-hearted conversations, they contently left the restaurant to go for a late-night walk around the more secluded areas nearby. The stroll was peaceful for the most part, loving the other's presence as they enjoyed some much-needed downtime, before they heard a voice from behind them shout, holding a sharp weapon towards them and commanding them not to move. 

Sky, always quick to act on a situation, went to step in front of his S/O. However, she was quicker, extending her arm out to prevent him from doing so. The stranger urged them both to hold still as he cautiously paced over to them. Beginning to get a bit too close to his S/O, Sky was about to fend off the stranger when, to his surprise, his S/O grabbed onto the stranger's wrists and shoved them to the ground. 

Surprisingly (or unsurprisingly), Sky is the most shocked out of the four. When he first met his S/O, she immediately reminded him of Brandon. The two of them were the definition of calm and collected and restrained (a familiarity that could’ve possibly drawn him to her). He genuinely had no idea his S/O could defend herself and he feels a bit naïve for underestimating her. 

By the time his speechless stuttering has ceased, the stranger had already been scrambling off (albeit, barely). He feels proud to have such a capable S/O, though there’s a small part of himself that wishes she still needed his help.

Brandon 

Don't underestimate Brandon's so-called "superficialness" and overly flirtatious tendencies. He's a strategic thinker who rarely acts impulsively. In this way, him and his S/O were similar. Pair them together and the two make for an unstoppable duo.

Brandon and his S/O had been wandering through Solaria's famed shopping district, periodically scurrying from store to store to cover as many stores as they could for their weekly shopping trip. It was a long weekend, so the area was much busier then it usual, meaning trouble could be brewing at any corner. The two had been lucky to avoid any mishaps so far, but their moment of solitude wouldn't last for long. While his S/O was occupied with browsing the items on the shelves, she felt a hand swipe past her pockets and grab a valuable item of hers before bolting towards the store's exit. She quickly disregarded what she was doing and chased after him, Brandon following suite.

There were waves of people outside, causing him to get lost in the crowd. He was growing increasingly worried as he searched for where the robber and his S/O had run off to. Finally, he had managed to locate the pair in a secluded alleyway, where he stumbled upon a bit of an unexpected sight. There they were, his S/O and the one who had robbed her, fighting in an all-out brawl, a loud *slam* resounding as she pinned him to the wall.

Brandon shakes his head as he runs a hand through his hair. He doesn't know why he was so worried. It's not like he assumed that his S/O was helpless. He was aware that she knew how to fight, but he had no idea she packed this much of a punch. He’s even a little intimidated by it, but in a good way.

With the criminal knocked out, Brandon finally speaks. He gives his S/O an amused look, joking about writing himself a reminder to never make her angry. Of course he’s taking the opportunity to throw a bunch of teasing comments, but he’s genuinely impressed.

Helia 

Helia and his S/O seemed so alike that it was uncanny. They were both known to be the mature ones in their respective friend groups, seemingly lacking in temper and aggression. Their extreme levels of patience, temperance, and open-mindedness were unmatched. Due to this, it can be a bit of a shocker to others when they drop the pacifism.

The two had decided to take a daytime stroll through a quaint park outside of Magix City. It was a peaceful day, the warmth of the sun bouncing off their skin as they admired the vibrant outdoor scenery. The pair had taken a pit stop at the edge of a small lake, with Helia wanting to take a quick sketch of it's beauty. As she watched him stroke his pencil across the pages in his sketchbook from a distance, she was caught off-guard when someone wrapped their arms around her waist, pulling her backwards in an attempt to restrain her and reaching for the contents in her pockets.

The lack of talking followed by a string of grunts drew Helia's attention from his sketchbook to the troubled state of his S/O. Though he preferred to avoid fighting, he couldn't help but feel the need to step in and protect her (a likely result of his specialist training), however, she didn't seem to need any protection as she was quick to turn the tables on the robber.

Helia stops in his tracks, simply watching as his S/O lands hit after hit. He was a bit surprised to see his calm and collected S/O go physically all out against this robber, but his shock quickly faded away into an loving sigh. He had always trusted that she would be capable of defending herself when she needed to, and he was glad that his hunch wasn't wrong. In general, he's the quickest to accept her fighting spirit, and it just makes him love her even more.

When his S/O has had her fill, the robber runs off, leaving the two of them alone. Helia double checks to make sure she isn't hurt. Once she reassures him, he chuckles to himself, wrapping an arm around her in affection. 

Riven 

Riven's hot-headed nature was a stark contrast to his S/O's laid-back demeanor. The other specialists couldn't deny that Riven was a blunt guy who had a very direct approach when it came to conflict. Meanwhile, his S/O had an eerie ability to remain calm, even in dire situations. The two appeared to be complete opposites, leaving a number of people to question their relationship (not that they cared for others opinions).

Whilst wandering through the Magix City, Riven had stopped to purchase lunch at a nearby food stall while his S/O stood and waited nearby. She decided to occupy herself, so she reached into her bag to grab her phone. That's when she felt the sudden grasp of a hand on her wrist as a masked stranger attempted to grab her purse.  Seeing no other way out of the situation, she took a step back, taking her free arm and weaving it through the robber's wrists to stop their movements before using her strength to free herself.

Riven, who had come back after realizing he left his wallet in his S/O's purse, caught sight of the fight that was transpiring, at least, if you could even call it a fight considering the fact that one of the figures was losing tremendously. Once he realizes that the winning figure is his S/O, his reaction is a mixed bag. On one hand, he was impressed by her independence and skill. He had seen her train in the past, but that was nothing compared to how she held herself in a real fight.

That being said, there's part of him that can't help but feel a bit insecure. Seeing her in action would make him wonder if she truly needed him or not. After all, she can defend for themself, so does that mean she'd leave him?

He doesn't bring up his insecurity. Instead he walks over to his S/O and silently makes sure they aren't severely injured, all while chewing out the robber that was now laying flat on the ground. After he's calmed down, he applauds his S/O for defending herself. He sounds reluctant in doing this, but he's trying his best.

• Trouble began to arise as new victims were being targeted by an unknown party. Soon enough, dungeons began to arise once more. They were a bit different from palaces and jails, but they shared one thing in common. They were dangerous and did more harm than good

• As much as Ryuji enjoyed kicking ass, he didn't know how to feel about having to continue the whole Phantom Thief charade, though it's not like he could find it in himself to stop with his strong sense of serving justice

• There was one good thing that came out of this whole ordeal, however, and that was the arrival of a new Phantom Thief. You had connections to the first victim of these palace/jail-like dungeons and had involuntarily wound up into one alongside the Phantom Thieves

• Luckily, you had a strong will with a desire to fight, and you were to able to unlock your Persona

• The Phantom Thieves (a bit cautious due to their unfamiliarity with you) didn't see any harm in having a new addition. You seemed to mean well and had an honest interest in assisting them, so after a group discussion, they invited you to join the team

• Now, this wasn't the first time the Phantom Thieves had gotten a new recruit, especially for Ryuji. After all, he was the Phantom Thieves third member (if we're counting Morgana), so this shouldn't have been a huge deal

• And it wasn't, at least, at first. Ryuji had always been on the friendly side, so he eagerly welcomed you into the group, cracking a few light-hearted jokes here and there to help you feel comfortable. The smile he managed to conjure from you made his heart thump in his chest, but he was quick to shrug it off

• He didn't initially realize it, but for whatever reason, he had become enthralled by you. He found himself sneaking glances at you during meetings and watching in awe at how you're able to carry yourself in battle. When you were in the room, his attention would slowly drift towards you. It's quite literally puppy love

• He begins to find excuses to be around you. "Hey [Name], I've got this huuuge exam coming up and I could use some extra help." "[Name], I heard about this new ramen place that opened down the street and it'd be cool if someone could taste-test with me!" "I heard that you really wanted to go [insert place that requires a ticket here] and I've got an extra ticket, wanna come?"

• It isn't until Ann begins to tease Ryuji over his behavior with you that he starts to realize he's developed a crush: "Great, freaking fantastic." (sarcasm)

• He ends up keeping his crush to himself. 1) Because he's afraid of scaring you off and ruining his friendship with you, and 2) With Phantom Thief business becoming more hectic as they drew closer to tracking down the culprit, he didn't want to overwhelm you with anything else

• Little does he know that you've been harboring a crush of your own. You admired his loyal and thoughtful he was, not to mention his goofy nature brightened your day. You had enjoyed getting to know him during your time in the group, and didn't want to stop talking to him once everything was over. Sadly, you hadn't gotten the chance to talk to him about it with all the crazy things that have been happening

• 10 months have passed since the two of you met. The Phantom Thieves have decided to take a momentary break during their long-awaited moment of calm. You didn't know what dangers were lurking in the future, so you decided it was now or never. You picked up your phone and sent a text to Ryuji telling him to meet you outside the arcade

• A few minutes past before Ryuji notices your text. He types up a reply saying he'll be there soon. He was already out buying groceries (per his mom's request) so it doesn't take long before he reaches the outside of the arcade

• You had been anticipating this moment, standing in front of the arcade and trying to figure out what to say, but as soon as you here him shout your name and walk towards your direction, your thoughts overflow and you can't help but blurt out "I like you!"

• Ryuji is confused, so he does what feels natural and tries to play it off as some sort of joke

• You clarify that you aren't joking and confess that you've had a crush on him, pouring your heart onto a silver platter before asking if he'd be up for going on a date once everything is over

• A few moments pass as he stands there and blinks, trying to process everything you just said before excitedly pulling you into a hug. He tells you that he's felt the same way and that you beat him to the punch

• Ryuji isn't one for waiting. He likes to do things in the present, so he asks if you want to try doing a mini-date after he drops the groceries off at home. If the answer is no, he'll respect that answer and wait. If the answer is yes, you two will probably come back to the arcade or eat out somewhere

• "This is only the beginning. Wait 'till all of this crazy stuff is over. I'll give you a date you'll never forget!"

• Let's start with how he comforts his partner!

• Akira is a people-watcher. His quiet nature allows him to observe others and pick up on mannerisms that even they may not be aware of. He tries to keep his telling abilities to a limit, though, as he's big on respecting boundaries and doesn't want to invade his partner's privacy

• However, if it becomes increasingly apparent that something is wrong (especially if it's for an extended period of time), he'll act on it

• If you and him are out of the house, he'll ask if you want him to take them home. If you both are out with friends/other people, he'll simply tell them that you aren't feeling well (he doesn't want to give further explanations without your permission)

• Once you reach home, he's walking you straight to your room and sitting you down wherever you feel comfortable

• He's not entirely sure what to do, at least, not right away, so he decides to pull you into a hug, letting you rest your head on his shoulder as he strokes a hand through your hair. He lightly squeezes you every now and then, a non-verbal sign that he's not going anywhere

• If you can't find it in themself to talk about it, he just lets you get all your emotions out. If you need to cry you can cry. If you need to scream you can scream. If you need to hit something he's grabbing the nearest pillow. There's no judgement with him. He stays with you until you've let all your emotions out

• More then willing to listen if you need to talk about what's going on. He's silent for most of it (apart from the occasional nod of acknowledgement), but I promise that he's listening intently, he just doesn't wanna interrupt

• He's not letting you do anything for the rest of the day. He has it all covered down to every miniscule task. He wants you to be able to relax and feel pampered, even if it's for a brief moment. Additionally, if you had plans with other people, he offers to notify those people that you'll be staying home

• Constant affirmations that you aren't being a bother and that your feelings are important. He also lets you know that he's proud of you for pushing through

• Tries to encourage you to eat/drink something. He makes a freshly-brewed cup of coffee along with some curry to help replenish your energy. If you're not a coffee person, he's got other options such as hot chocolate or various herbal teas that Haru recommended to him

• Asks what you would like to do in the moment. If you're truly unsure, he'll default to putting on a movie or playing a laid-back video game

• Brushes your hair or gives them light massages. He's trying to use physical touch to coax away the bad thoughts

• Overall, he's extremely caring towards you and wants to do everything he can to make you feel loved and safe

• Now as a bonus, here's a few reverse-comfort headcanons!

• When he's stressed, upset, overwhelmed, etc., Akira has a tendency to camp out in his room and shut himself down. He doesn't do it entirely on purpose, it's just a habit he developed over the course of his childhood

• He's good at keeping his emotions to himself, so it may be a bit difficult for to identify if something is wrong

• Sometimes, though, his bottled up emotions will spill and silently collapse into you (give this man a hug, and therapy tbh)

• He doesn't always talk about what's wrong, not because he doesn't want to, but because he's unsure of how to word his emotions. It's best to let him know that there's no pressure to find the right words or form coherent sentences, or even talk about it at all, you'll be here to comfort him no matter what he chooses to do

• He might try writing out his feelings if he's unable to talk. He'll start by writing a few "keywords" and go off of that

• Enjoys laying in bed whilst holding you close. It's a huge source of comfort. He'll play with your hair or mess with your hands

• Sooooo appreciative if you do anything for him (ex. cooks for him)

• You're that one pair of friends who everyone looks at and goes "are they dating? Or are they really close friends?" Obviously, in this case, it's the latter, but it's amusing to see the looks of utter confusion on people's faces (including Mks' because he currently has no idea that people wonder if you're a couple, so he gets really confused when he sees you smiling/laughing about it)

• He's addicted to mobile games. Half the games on your phone is likely due to his recommendations (and also because he needs more people to play with him, especially since Mei prefers console gaming). For multi-player apps, he'll call you during his break or free time and ask if you wanna play a round of two

• Movie nights! Whether they're in-person or through a video call, movie nights are a common occurrence in your friendship with Mk. He often invites the rest of the gang to join, but when they're not available, it'll just be you two tangled up on his couch with all the snacks you bought earlier and watching a cheesy movie together

• The two of you are attached by the hip. Pigsy swears that 90% of the time he sees you, you're hanging out with her. Mei is a huge social butterfly, so expect a lot of "are you free on [insert date]?" type questions

• Tons of late night conversations. She'll text you at 3 in the morning with an arsenal of corny memes and weird conversation starters (ex. "do fishies ever get thirsty?"). It happens so often that you're not even surprised by it anymore, you just go along with it. You're also very concerned for her sleep schedule

• Always invites you and Mk to attend concerts with her. She thinks they're more fun with friends. The night before the concert, the three of you will sleep over at Mk's place. Sometimes Mk will fall asleep early after being tuckered out from work or training (or both), giving you and Mei plenty of time to plan a good old-fashioned prank on him

• Adding onto the last headcanon, if you aren't able to attend the concert, she'll be sure to buy merch for you. It'll usually be a t-shirt or poster

• You'll always be up to date on all of Mei's interests. She loves to ramble about overly-convoluted storylines of shows shes been watching or the thrilling mechanics of a newly-released game. She'll also let you ramble about your interests. She loves getting to know what you like, and even tries to learn more about that topic herself

• Mei has gaming livestreams and no one can convince me otherwise. Every now and then, she'll invite you onto the stream to play with her. If you're nervous about people watching you, she'll do her best to make you feel comfortable and reassure you that it's all in good fun

• Don't let her eccentric personality fool you, Mei is observant. She knows exactly what voice patterns and mannerisms indicate even the tiniest hint of sadness. Sometimes she'll stop by your house with a little bag in her hand and say "I saw this while checking out all the shops, thought you might like it!" Red Son

• You're one of, if not the only people who can get away with teasing him. The most he'll do is send a couple of "murder glares" your way, but it's obvious that he's all bark and no bite. Try not to abuse your power. Then again, to quote Simpsons, "I'm a sign, not a cop"

• There are perks to having an inventor as a friend. Have a broken piece of machinery? Red Son can fix it! Having trouble completing a task? Red Son has an invention to help! You'd think that he would mind having extra work, but honestly, he loves getting the chance to show off his intelligence and fancy gadgets

• There is a caring side to his fiery attitude. Even if he doesn't always know what he's doing, he can't bring himself to let one of his closest friends struggle alone, so he'll try his best to accommodate for you. If you're sick or feeling nauseous, he'll lay you down immediately and brew you a soothing cup of tea. If you're upset or angry about something, he'll keep a hand on yours as he silently listens to you vent. Hell, he'll even create some sort of "punching bag" if you need to physically release your frustrations

• He makes you binge cooking shows with him. While watching, he'll give you a run-down on all the different culinary techniques that the chefs use. It's like a mini-cooking lesson. • Red Son loves self-care products and cosmetics, so every so often, the two of you will have spa days! Initially, they're likely going to be at your place since he isn't fond of doing it at home. The two of you lounge around while pampering each other and complaining about random inconveniences

• We all know he's loaded with cool modes of transportation (ex. his race car), and as his friend, you have the honor of riding them with him! As for driving said vehicles, lets just say that's going to take some convincing on your part

• If you think he’s going to call you by your name/some variation of your name, think again. He’s got a bunch of personalized nicknames for you (similar to how he calls Mk "Noodle Boy" and Mei "Dragon Girl")

• You two will get into arguments/debates over the dumbest topics, like whether water is wet or not. Considering how stubborn Red Son can be, this can go on for hours on end, but don't worry, you two know it's all in good fun (most of the time)

• One of Red Son's favorite activities to do in his free time is meditation! He often encourages you to join him, as it's a great getaway from the stress of daily life. You two set up a spot outside, somewhere quiet and far away from society, and meditate under the sunset
