Flaws/Quirks in Male Characters That I’m BEGGING Writers to Explore

✧ Dudes who are bad at sports. Yes, Chad, not every male character needs to throw a perfect spiral in high school. Let him get hit in the face with a dodgeball. Let him (please) suck.

✧ The “pretty boy” who's not vain, just vibing. Like he knows he looks like he walked out of a Renaissance painting but has the self esteem of a lost ferret.

✧ Shy, awkward boys who don’t magically become suave by Chapter 6. No, he’s still weird at parties and says “you too” when the waiter says “enjoy your meal.”

✧ Flirtatious guys who are actually super respectful. He's flirty but not a walking lawsuit. Shocker. He’s playful, not predatory.

✧ Male friendships that aren't emotionally constipated. Yes, two guys can say “I love you, bro” and not immediately punch each other to cancel it out.

✧ The soft spoken leader. He doesn’t need to scream orders or have a “gruff, commanding voice.” He just talks, and people shut up and listen because he’s competent.

✧ Dudes with weird hobbies. like, your guy MC collect antique spoons or have a YouTube channel rating old vacuums. Why not. It’s his passion.

✧ Guys who are clingy and insecure in relationships. Not abusive, just genuinely terrified of being left on read for too long. He's trying his best, ok?

Aquello, being the first born, would then be named Trinita (and then Trinita would get a different name)

Xav would be Xanna, lots of female names end with a. (His full name is Xaviel but I don't think Xaviella fits)

Ignio, I'm not sure. Maybe Ignis?

Scarella could be Scar maybe haha. Or maybe Rogue? I have no particular reasoning behind this haha

I love 'hero living long enough to become the villain', but oughhhh, 'villain living long enough to become the hero' is life altering. Also not just ending in some goddamn sacrifice. They've gotta legit LIVE with those actions. And holy fuck, if they end up caring for someone they previously traumatized and now have to bear being the thing that haunts their nightmares for years? OH, THE ANGST, TAKE ME NOW!!!

What are the teachers ages and in what order where each of them hired? Basically who’s been at the school for the longest and whose been there the least!

But Dr. Cosmos is the oldest and he's been there the longest too. He's in his 60s.

Ms. Lundi has been there for a long time too, she's like 52 years old (you wouldn't say!)

And Venoma, Leona and Lunator are in their 40s. Venoma and Leona got hired around the same time. Lunator a bit later. She caught him and made a deal with him to serve his prison time in school as teacher haha

There's some other teachers you haven't officially seen yet (like the drama teacher from ep7 and two more I think), but we'll get to them later

I wouldn't call TEG and adult show or anything, but it has some occasional swears and 'mature' topics that are not really for a kid audience. I feel the audience for TEG is teens and adults

Was writing some more worldbuilding and thinking how The Earth Guy really is a fantasy series and putting sci-fi as a genre just doesn't feel right. Like there is some futuristic things sure, but magic is a huge component. The reason characters like Scarella are even alive is because magic exists in this universe. Faster than light travel to other galaxies is possible because magic exists. This is a supernatural universe.

Not to fall into the trap of answering every question with 'because magic', but it is a very important cog in the worldbuilding machine so to speak. I'm gonna talk about it in some episode in the future (and I will possibly yap about it more on Patreon)

And I gotta make a big timeline for myself to keep track of all the events lol, I keep asking myself 'wait what when was that again?' so I really need it haha

Can Scarella survive Sercius?

This is a tough one but I think even Scarella would not last on Sercius. It is really that hot and Scarella is still made up of flesh, unlike the Sercian people who are made up of a type of strong charcoal

Since Ed comes from a black hole, I'm guessing they don't have a language per say? How about the languages of other characters like BZT, ELLE, The Calhives, Maeri, Lundi and maybe others?

Ed does have a form of 'language'. Black holes actually make sounds (and they sound super weird! There's recordings of them that I have sampled for background music when Ed speaks during some scenes)

The other characters have their own languages as well, but everyone has the universal translater (my in-universe examplanation as to why everyone speaks English in the show haha). I don't think we'll really get to hear them talk in their actual languages, unless something were to happen to the translator

It’s been about a month since I last asked how you’re doing, and I wanted to check in on everything: the series, your job search, and most importantly, how you’re doing. I don’t really know how things have been for you lately, so I was wondering… are you okay?

I'm doing okay, still kinda sad I lost my job, but I'm going to get another degree so I'll have more options for a new position hopefully.

The series is doing well too. I'll admit though it may have all been just a bit too ambitious for just me (the musical that is), but I've come far so I'm determined to complete it. It'll take a bit longer than usual, but that's why I have the Halloween special to put in between ep6 and ep7.
